There are a lot of contractors out there, and that's why I'd like to leave a review. We've worked with two other roofing contractors in the Omaha area that completed the work within a reasonable timeframe. However, their teams left a lot of debris for us to clean up. We had bats get into our attic on both occasions. For our third new roof project, we decided to go with Siefken Contracting. Jared was very helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. The only headache we had to endure was our insurance company fighting tooth and nail to not provide coverage. Jared and his team fought for us and communicated well. We have since moved to a new home and had to replace the roof again - lucky us. We went with Siefken for a second time. We had another great experience with their team. We're currently having Siefken replace the windows in our home. This is our first time using them outside of roofing, and their team has been great to work with once again. I can't sing their praises enough and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Omaha area.

At that time, we felt confident that the job would be done well thanks to the sales rep that was at our home. We were promised everything we were concerned with would be handled. AGR was terrible with communication, we did not know when the roof would be done or when their contractors would show up. We had people showing up randomly, sometimes not even doing any work, leaving our gate open, and leaving materials all over our yard and driveway. After the roof was completed, there were nails all over our yard and driveway. The roof looked terrible when it was completed, did not look professional at all. And on top of that, our brand new fence gate was damaged and bent by AGR employees and they have not addressed that concern at all. Trying to get ahold of anyone to address our concerns has been the most difficult process ever. It is now 6+ months later, and we have not had some of the work done that was promised by AGR. We would not recommend this company to anyone looking to get a great, professional roofing service.

I have an audio recording of them stating they would cover the deductible as proof. They are claiming that this was because I didn't hire them to replace my windows but they stated they would add a 30% markup to the windows and stated there wasn't enough insurance money to cover it. Dave patched the roof where the chimney had come up through and shingled it and also put new brick in the wall where the pipe had come out to vent the stove. So I texted the service production supervisor, Greg. There's a video on FB where the owner states that what separates them from the competition is that they don't use subcontractors. There is no video or typed message anywhere on the internet saying otherwise. This is a lie. They do use subcontractors. They say the video is outdated but they know it's out there and didn't do anything to clarify. The crew came out on time. They left with huge gaps in the corners, small gaps, no caulking along the frame, the sills are uneven, the seams are horribly done, etc. II was told Greg was going to stop back that afternoon but he didn't. I texted Greg later to tell him about the issues and sent him pictures. He said he'd be out the next day but didn't. Five days later he had the office call me to setup a "repair" job. lol I'd hardly call this a repair since the issues weren't done to begin with. To this day, I've yet to get an apology for the shoddy work and only received a "sincere" apology after I filed a complaint with the BBB for deceptive business practices and false advertising concerning the video. We'll see what happens and if I have to get the courts involved.
