Even though I purchased that shade from another (online) vendor, they were happy to provide me with the service I needed. Their service was excellent! I recently had an issue where I thought the motor was not working properly even after I change the batteries and did all of the troubleshooting requirements on my own. When I called BSS, Ann in Customer service helped me go through the troubleshooting checklist before telling me to bring the shade back so that they could fix whatever the problem may be. The only thing I did not do in my initial troubleshooting was use lithium batteries in the wand. I always used non-lithium batteries, which worked fine. So in the last effort, I purchase some lithium batteries and sure enough that did the job! I truly appreciated the time and patience that Ann took with me to help me fix this problem on my own. I will continue to use BSS over and over again for future purchases.

They are the exact same item, the names of the colors are different but the samples were an exact match. Budget Blinds wanted to charge me 3 times the cost of ordering from a big box store. (Budget Blinds $610 vs Lowes $245). This was after their 'promotional discount' and asking to do the installation myself. They also charge you shipping whether the blinds go to you or their store! Installation was going to cost me $100 to install 2 pleated shades. That is $25 per screw it took to install the hangers!! I received my blinds and saw the head was an exact match as Budget Blinds, also confirming these are really Bali Blinds. Do yourself a favor, go to a big box store and measure your windows and install them yourself, it ain't rocket science. You can still get installation from the big box store and come out ahead on the price! If you want to save a lot of money don't go here, I don't even know what the name of their company means, they are only in someone's Budget if you like to throw away money.

We were quoted a price for 5 blackout blinds and given a time line for install. The first install…read moreattempt was unsuccessful- the measurements were done incorrectly and did not fit our window. In this first attempt, our old blinds were removed and broken and we were unable to put them back up. Our windows were uncovered and we had to make something to cover them until the correct blinds arrived. It took about one month to get the correct sized blinds. After the second install, I was given a bill for the remaining amount due. I asked, very nicely, if there was a deduction for the inconvenience and I was informed that "We were able to correct the issue therefore we don't offer an additional discount. " BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very disappointing.
