Shortly after moving into our new home we had an issue where one of our outlets was being "glitchy." Items plugged in would have power, then it would seem to shut off for no reason and then come back on. My husband came across RJN Electrical and called them up. It took a couple of days to get them scheduled to come out, but there was good communication while we were figuring out a time. They ended up stopping out in the evening. The man who came was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He figured out our issue and resolved it. Being a very new homeowner I really had no idea how much an electrical call would cost. They charged $75 for the service call, and then $70 an hour for service. The parts were very minimal. In talking to others who have had electricians come over that seems somewhat reasonable. The worker and my husband had a lot in common and were chatting the entire time he was working. My only somewhat complaint was that I am guessing that all that chatting extended the time it took to fix. They charged for 2 hours, he was probably actually there a little longer, but I wonder if he had just been working diligently how long would it have taken? Not a big deal, and it was nice that the guy was friendly and explained things too, just interesting to note. Overall we had a good experience, and I think if any other electrical issues come up I would probably reach out to them again. read more

My husband and I are from another state. We are in the middle of redoing out farm house here in LeRoy. It has been our please to have the employees from RJN Electrical Services be our electricians. We come to NY a couple times a year to work on our house. They have always fit us into their busy schedule. They came the first time and gave us a very good estimate. When they come to the house they will call and let you when they will be there. The guys who come in are very pleasant and quick and professional. They came , did the work and cleaned up when done.
