The second picture is an extension installed by Mazzone to my check valve two feet below my basement floor. The third set of pictures are from the completed job by Arid. The workers from Arid were very polite and worked quickly and very effectively with a great deal of carefulness for my home and living spaces. I was able to get the sump pump working again, but 3 days after it stopped raining, I was still getting a lot of water in the pit. I found a sticker for Contractors Waterfproofing, and figured they might of installed the system for the old owners, so I gave them a call. From the moment he picked up Greg was service oriented and responsive. He asked for my address to look up the job, and when he couldn't find it, he called back within 5 minutes to ask what was going on. I explained the problem, and he immediately told me that was normal for my part of town, and told me I just needed to replace the pump and I would be fine. He offered me a price that was half what his competitors charge, but I told him I would do the work myself since I am capable. He then answered a ton of questions about the install, and we had a great conversation about life and how my son could maximize his potential long-term, as he is currently a plumbers apprentice. The bottom line is that the system Greg installed 20 years ago is still working perfectly, and when the pump failed, he not only gave me a fair price, but then walked me through how to do the job myself.
