The large size was $5.25 including tax (sorry, no picture; I was excited to eat it). Though very friendly, the service was a tad slow and my custard had a little hollow section in the middle. I'm guessing they have some new employees that are still learning the ropes. I would visit again... Maybe later in the season. To note, there is an extra fee when using a credit card. They have seating under a roofed patio as well as some tables behind the building in the yard underneath some trees.

The Pink Cow is my happy place. It's small, yes, but mighty--and filled with frozen joy and sugar-fueled chaos in the best way possible. There's plenty of outdoor seating (umbrellaed, because sunburns are rude), and ample parking for all your impulse sundae needs. For the efficient ice cream warriors among us, there's even a drive-thru. I've never used it, mostly because I live in fear of dripping soft serve into my cup holders and explaining that to my mechanic. Also? I'm a people-watcher. Give me a bench, a waffle cone, and a toddler in pajamas and cowboy boots blowing bubbles, and I'll be emotionally wrecked thinking about my grandkid on another continent. Worth every tear. Also, let's talk about my ordering process: I get a large. Then I go home and casually tell my husband it was a medium. Don't judge me, Janice, we all have our coping mechanisms and mine is portion-size denial. When my husband joins me? It's date night, baby. First, The Pink Cow. Then a romantic stroll (read: shuffle) through the Tractor Supply at the back of the parking lot, where we look at baby chicks and he buys me a sundress (See my Tractor Supply review for those details). The stand is surrounded by several parking spots, which will fill up on a warm evening. The staff working are young and courteous. Double Dips accepts cash and credit cards. I don't make it over to Double Dips often as I live in Buffalo, but when I do, I get a large Cyclone made with vanilla custard, Butterfinger (or Oreo), and cheesecake pieces. The cup is large but the last few times I've ordered this, I've noticed they don't fill the cup all the way, which is a bit of a bummer. Plus, the distribution of mix-ins isn't the most even - Last time all the cheesecake pieces were at the top while all the Butterfinger was at the bottom. Prices are a little higher but in 2026, everything is priced higher and they are THE ice cream spot in Medina. Double Dips posts frequently on Facebook about their weekly special custard and non-dairy custard flavors as well as other ice cream novelty specials. All-in-all, Double Dips remains a solid ice cream stand in small town Medina.

Soft ice cream, peanut butter sauce, and butterfingers. Yum! I opted for no cool whip, peanuts, or cherry, I'm weird I know, but that's why you don't notice any of those in the pictures. My husband got the key lime custard and was very satisfied. Great place to stop if you're hankering for some ice cream. Stop by and try one of their many treats!

Now that that's out of the way, it is a cute, clean ice cream shop that also carries camping staples such as milk & eggs as Golden Hill State Park is nearby. The worker, and possibly owner, was very friendly and efficient. They offer about 16 different hard ice cream flavors and chocolate/vanilla soft serve. It looked like they had a build your own soft serve sundae station, but I didn't see any signage about how that might work. They also offer slushies, floats, blizzards, milkshakes & sundaes. I ordered a Mexican sundae made with nuthouse ice cream in a waffle bowl. It came to less than $6. Their prices are very reasonable. There is no seating inside, but there are picnic tables and some benches on their covered patio. Their parking lot is nicely paved. I think they close for the season in about a week, so hurry up & visit or you'll to wait until next year
