A fantastic old-school ice cream stand with a drive-through, The Pink Cow is a wonder spot to cool off with delicious ice cream. Outside seating, killer milkshakes, and a hell-a-good sundae menu with classic, dairy-free & and no-sugar-added options. Bonus: they have dog treats!!!

The Pink Cow is a large hut looking building located in the front of the parking lot of a Tractor Supply with a drive thru, walk up window and a decent sized outdoor seating area with picnic tables. I visited on a weeknight around 8pm and it was fairly busy at the drive thru as well as the walk up window; that's great to see. I appreciate that they make a lot of their own ice cream and several of them are artificial dye free. However, I believe some of their hard ice cream flavors are Perry's, but there is no way (at least not that I saw) to discern which flavors are theirs and which are not. I decided on my choices as I waited in line only to find out when I went to order that they did not have one of the flavors I chose from the menu. I pivoted and picked a backup flavor. I ended up with a scoop of fireball, this sh$t just got serious and peanut butter overload rx. I heard the flavor fireball called so I went to the pickup window to inquire if it was for Monica since they did not say any other flavors and the girl just said she didn't know, it was just given to her. She also didn't seem to know the other flavors. Since it looked like 3 different flavors and no one else was coming up I assumed it had to be mine. Upon receiving my dish, I noticed they scoop on the smaller side compared to several other ice cream shops I have been to. The fireball tasted like hot cinnamon and I think it was Perry's, not homemade. The other two flavors I'm quite certain were homemade. The peanut butter overload rx was my favorite as I've never seen a peanut butter ice cream with peanut butter swirls & cups... It's always either chocolate or vanilla. It was creamy and flavorful. This sh$t just got serious (salted caramel with sea salt fudge & salted cashews) had a good flavor, but the texture was off. It was not creamy, rather it was kind of stretchy/gummy. I have encountered this at other shops too, but not sure why this sometimes happens. I would like to visit again to try some of their other innovative flavors, particularly the chocolate ho-ho that I was unable to get on this visit.

This little ice cream stand is so cute! They have a drive thru which seems to get very busy, but they also had a nice seating areas with cute pink cow print tables. There was also a bounce house and some giant connect four & jenga games available for customers to use! Ice cream was quality

Loved it. Tons of choices and friendly service. Came here on a motorcycle ride with girlfriends. I got the s'mores sundae on National S'mores Day. It was fabulous. There's a fairly cordoned off area so the kids can kind of be corralled. Can't wait to bring the grandkids here.

Cute little ice cream place! I was the name of the day and got a free sundae day! They pick two names and a doggy name daily for a free sundae. They have lots of neat flavors and things to try here and a cute sitting area as well. They also have ice cream drive through!

Last season we made it to The Pink Cow a couple of times for a nice ice cream jaunt out to scenic country Alden. I caught wind of The Pink Cow's existence on Facebook, due to their 'Names of the Day' giveaway. Our first trip was on 'Ava Day', for our daughter to cash in on being named Ava with a free scoop! Follow The Pink Cow's Facebook page to keep an eye out for your own name! The Pink Cow is a small ice cream stand that somehow manages to pack into it TONS of options, and more workers than it seems should fit in there, to make the abundance of choices! One side of the building is walk-up window ordering, with several outdoor tables. The other side is the drive-thru line, which stretches down across the plaza parking lot, as needed (the line can get long). Oh, and the building is hot pink. So you can't miss it! One STELLAR feature of The Pink Cow is their wide range of vegan options! They have some vegan hard-scoop flavors in the hard-scoop lineup. But they also have vegan soft serve every day! There are also vegan milkshakes, vegan cookie ice cream sandwiches, and vegan milk bubble teas! It is rare that our vegan daughter has too many options to deal with at an ice cream stand, but The Pink Cow really gives her LOTS of vegan food for thought! :-D And of course The Pink Cow has all of the dairy choices you'd expect to see at an ice cream stand, too. Hard scoop, soft serve, flavor-swirl soft serve, a litany of specialty sundaes, milkshakes, Blizzards (they call them Blender Benders), slushies, snow cones, and the new addition of bubble tea this year. Anything we have tried has been pretty good, with fairly reasonable prices, consistent with other ice cream stands of this nature. One other dietary restriction FYI, I did notice several menu mentions of gluten-free options, too. The whole menu on the building does a good job of listing allergen information on most things. So if you're vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, soy-free, egg-free, sugar-free, fat-free or some combination thereof, they menu is marked to help you land on something that suits your needs. If you live near Alden, you already know about The Pink Cow. But if you're Buffalo or Buffalo-burbs-area folks looking to take a little country ride that culminates with a fun ice cream (or non-dairy cream) experience, take a roll out to The Pink Cow. And enjoy! :-D

My family decided to checkout The Pink Cow on their opening day.  We went there ~3pm and the line was so long!  It was about an hour long wait, but they really had a nice setup.  There was chalk for kids, make-your-own slime table, the Pink Cow and Easter Bunny were walking around, and Girl Scouts were selling cookies.  I absolutely loved the cone and sundae paintings they had on the blacktop.  It's really a cute ice cream joint.  They also did a good job implementing safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID.  There were markers set up to indicate proper social distancing. This spot has a large variety of ice cream (hard and custards) and plenty of other tasty treats (like ice cream cookie sandwiches).  I was looking forward to trying their own specialty hard flavors.  It's great that they have a bunch of different sizes to choose from.  My 5-year-olds had smalls, which ended up being a bit too much for them, but was perfect because I got to try them all. Blue Panda: Tasted like cake batter with Oreos mixed in. Better Brownie Batter: Would have liked the brownies to be a bit more gooey and soft. Fat Elvis: Had a great banana flavor.  This was our favorite. Brownie Bottom Specialty Sundae (minus chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and cherry; subbed Peanut Butter Pretzel Paradise hard ice cream): It was good, but the brownie could have been better. Cappuccino Crunch and Exhausted Parent: Perfect for any coffee lover. Prices were comparable to other local shops.  The only thing I thought was a too pricey was the specialty sundae. You wouldn't think that they could house enough ice cream to feed all the sweet tooths that were waiting, but they sure did!  We will be back and if it's cold or rainy, I wouldn't mind using their drive-thru. Tip: Follow their FB page/Instagram account.  They pick 2 names and a dog name of the day.  If your name is selected, you get a free small regular sundae and if your pup's name is chosen, they get a doggie sundae on the house.

Speedy service with a smile offering cones, specialty sundaes, milkshakes , benders and smoothies.I ordered the small Mexican sundae for $5 and at that price it was a great deal. The sundae was tasty with the right amount of fudge, nuts and whip cream.

I'll be honest, I've been putting off ordering a few pints because I didn't want to make the effort/time for picking it up. Thanks to a dear friend, a fellow Yelp Elite, I've FINALLY had the opportunity to try some pints, and holy smokes, Living the Cream is phenomenal! Note that in to order flavors, you'll want to follow "livingthecream_" on Instagram, "living_the_cream_" on Facebook, which showcases any new flavors being crafted and hosts the link to place your order. I tried two flavors: Oreo Brownie Smash and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella. Oreo Brownie Smash is Oreo cookie ice cream with brownie batter swirls, Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough, and half-baked brownies and Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella is spiced eggnog ice cream infused with Jim Beam and Platter's dark orange chocolate stracciatella. Just. WOW! Absolutely no complaints, each was bursting with flavor and packed with so many mix-ins. I loved finding huge Oreo cookies & cream cookie dough chunks and just how chocolatey Oreo Brownie Smash was thanks to all the brownie bits swirled in. The Orangey Eggnog Stracciatella had the creamy, comforting flavor of eggnog with a nice nip of Jim Beam that let you know it was there but never overpowering. The crunchy bits of the dark orange chocolate stracciatella cut through all the creaminess, only elevating the ice cream overall. Opening both pints, I was super impressed how jam-packed they were - It took a bit of effort to get the lids off, the pint was on the cusp of overflowing! So I didn't order these pints so I can't give you the most accurate pricing info, but after trying a couple flavors, I'm happy to order a few pints myself without thinking too much about the cost. I'm really glad Living the Cream is out here, churning up amazing ice cream flavors for Buffalo! As a few other Yelp reviews mention, make a little room in your freezer and treat yo'self to a couple pints of some of the creamiest, mix-in full ice cream you'll ever have!
