It probably stems back to the time a routine oil change turned into pretend-to-grab-that-girl's-ass-and-hope-she-doesn't-see-everything-you're-doing-in-the-car-door's-reflection. Also, one time they forgot to bolt the undercarriage of my car back on and half the protective plate fell out on the freeway. I vowed to trust no more car people. So when my husband informed me we had a flat tire, and needed to find a place to replace it, I just kinda sat there. "Look online" he said. I typed. "What am I looking for?" I said. "Tires" he said. I typed "TIRED." He took the computer. Though I was convinced we were setting ourselves up to be swindled and cheated, I went to Belle Tire. When my husband asked the guy behind the counter for new tires, the suspiciously friendly-looking mechanic came out to take a look. Smiling, he said, "Let's see if we can save you guys some money today." After 2 cups of free coffee (yay!) and 20-30 mins waiting, we saw our guy round the corner. "You had three nails in your tire so we were able to fix it." Relieved, we approached the counter to pay. "Oh, no charge." Let me emphasize, this was our first time here. We were not repeat customers, we've never been in their system before, not in any state. This smiling man behind the counter just made our day. Even if it's an easy fix, our tire still cost him 30 minutes of labor, product and coffee; we drove away scot-free. Definitely glad to give Belle Tire a chance to change my mind about the industry. The guy didn't screw it back on correctly and I just noticed the entire front of this cover has been dragging on the cement for who knows how long. It's been a few weeks since I was there.... I avoided the dealership (Suburban Ford on M59 after what they recently did to my daughter - see my review on them before you go there!) but now I HAVE to go there and pay for this F'ing repair because of these guys. This place was a dump, they barely spoke English, they were cheap, but they were near my house. I made a mistake and now I'm paying for it, literally. I've yet to find out if there's anything else wrong but who knows what I can believe from Suburban. Why can't anyone be honest these days?!?!

I should preface this review with the fact that I am a college Student with an incredibly crunched…read moreschedule and an old car with millions of problems. Master Radiator has been servicing my vehicles for the last 8+ years at least with excellent service. Most Recently, my power steering went out after my hoses for the unit ruptured. Of course, they took photos to show the damage, not just say that something's broken. They serviced it in a timely manner, but unfortunately there were some bumps in the road. They hired a NEW Technician who worked on the vehicle... who basically destroyed my rack & pinion, requiring a replacement, but *he didn't tell anybody.* After the desk called me to confirm they can fix the part (believing that it was broken before they had someone work on the car), they had him install a NEW one, and he destroyed that one too. At this point, they discovered that he was responsible for my original part being destroyed as well as the new one they were supposed to install. That technician suggested they just charge me for a new part & labor, and not disclose it to me. At this point in time, they fired said technician IMMEDIATELY. They called me, informed me of the situation, and then didn't charge me for either of the parts, or any of the labor. UPON RECIEVING THE CAR: I guess they could only find a Remanufactured part for my Rack & pinion. Remanufactured parts typically have light defects, and the new Rack & Pinion's defect was a little bit of play in my steering wheel. After reporting this concern to them, two of the mechanics came out to my car with me, did an inspection right in front of me, and explained that the part was Remanufactured, and there's a chance that if we replaced it again, there would be another defect... But we could still warranty the part out and get a new one if it was bothering me, but ultimately, the car WAS safe to drive (big thanks to Justin and Ben for seeing me right away) I decided that I'd gamble on the warranty, and Master Radiator definitely delivered. They installed a brand new R&P, and didn't even charge me for the labor! As far as I'm concerned, they took a really big financial hit to serve me, the customer. They will be keeping my business so long as I live in Michigan. 10/10, Definitely Recommend. Some service features to note: - You will be able to see pictures from the inspection so you don't just have to take their word for everything - You can call at any time and have them talk you through what they plan to do with your car if there's any confusion - You'll ALWAYS get an itemized bill - You can pick and choose through a list of *suggested* fixes, so you don't have to have to take the "All or Nothing" approach that most mechanics nail you with. And NO. They won't try to upsell you on stuff unless its legitimately necessary.
