After hearing about bad experiences from friends, I recently had my own. I went to two different places -- one for an oil change and one for a tire rotation -- and both asked who had serviced my car last. The answer was Bell Tire. My oil had been overfilled by 2 quarts, which can cause serious damage. On top of that, my locking lug nuts were tightened so tight that a tire shop couldn't remove them -- I had to go to a mechanic. The mechanic even said an inexperienced person must have been working on my car, and that locking lugs should not be tightened as much as regular ones. What worries me most is that if I had a roadside emergency, I wouldn't have been able to change my own tire. Between my experience and others I've heard about, I no longer recommend this location. Thankfully, Roadrunner Oil Change, Warehouse Tire, and Mo-Tech Automotive fixed the issues, $100 later!

Don't worry meadows will charge you $200 for one caliper. Then, double up on labor. They're amazing at making problems seem worse than they are, using tactics to force a sense of urgency. Everything sounds good with "deals" here and there, but overview shows a massive markup. Any place where labor is double the parts (that are already marked up) should raise questions immediately. And verify that the problems that are said by one place are said by other reputable places. Yes, a 10 day old apple on the counter tastes fresh when all you been given were rotten ones. Lesson for next time. Do better research and don't take them at their word. Good to see just how much Waterford has gone to shit and becoming more and more like Pontiac!
