Supposedly lasagne... pasta soup with salt and grease shoukd have been the title

Terrible experience , very expensive for a pittsfield ma restaurant...Cumberland farms is right across the street lol... not worth the money for the quality of food that is served ....

This is the only pic you get and it's to show the size of the wings. They were actually chunky & you get 7 for $12.

Not disappointed. We went at 915pm & they sat us even though they close at 10. The ambiance was very nice. The lighting was just right and the level of the music wasn't too loud. I tried the the oysters which came w/ fries which were also perfect and got a side of broccoli Rabe. I thought $10 was a little high but it was a very good size portion and it was delicious!!!! My friend got the garlic Parmigiano chicken wings and she said they were very tasty! I was impressed w/ the girth of them. It's hard to get any real bang for your buck w/ wings lately, but they were quite chunky. I was impressed. I would definitely go there again and would recommend giving it a try.

Really sad when a good restaurant deteriorates. I enjoyed RJs over year and had some really good meals. But, the last few have been really poor. Last night, my fish was tasteless and the sauce congealed on my plate. The veggies were perfect. But, i was very upset. My wife had an upset stomach after her meal. I think that the deterioration started after they opened a second location near Hudson NY. Perhaps their owner and chef is paying attention to the food there. In any case, it will be a long time before i return.

We were warmly greeted and seated promptly. The restaurant has an elegant, refined atmosphere, with crisp white tablecloths adding to its classic setting. We began with a pistachio martini, which was creamy, smooth, and delicious. Our server, Caylah T., graciously went over the evening's specials with us. She was pleasant, attentive, and professional throughout the meal, making the experience all the more enjoyable. For appetizers, we chose the red and yellow beet salad with arugula from the evening's specials. It was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. We also shared the tempura coconut shrimp, which was wonderfully flavorful. Four perfectly prepared shrimp were served over a small accompanying salad with a delicious coconut sauce that complemented the dish beautifully. It was an outstanding appetizer and one of the highlights of our meal. For our entrées, Hubby enjoyed the organic salmon, while I chose the seafood fra diavolo. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. My seafood fra diavolo was particularly satisfying, with fresh-tasting seafood and a wonderful balance of flavors. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience, and will certainly return the next time we're in the area.

In the beginning, as it was a plain, typical weekday evening, business was slower and it took a bit for anyone to come greet my party and I until we got seated. It was not at all a lengthy time, just enough to twiddle your thumbs and look around, waiting. For the price, the food is really mediocre and I'd say avoid eating here if you're accustomed to good food. If not! Go ahead, it's not bad, just okay, maybe overpriced albeit everything is expensive in this day and age. I could be wrong, I'm not a chef, but the vegetables tasted frozen and reheated alongside the mashed potatoes ... resembling instant in terms of its taste. (Take the potato part with a grain of salt because I'm not confident on that as a fact) Steak was definitely Choice grade ... maybe half the price. Cooked well at least. Chicken was rubbery with a rather subpar taste; it reminded me of the chicken Parmesan at Olive Garden and I didn't even get that... it has that particular 'flavor' to it. I really like chicken, I like it more than any other meat, yet I couldn't finish their sautéed dish. The table bread at the beginning reminds me of the microwaveable garlic 'rolls' you can buy at your local supermarket. It probably is frozen... Also, the food came out room temperature even if the bottom of the plate was warm/hot. Still want to mention that my server was so incredibly affable and that's really why I chose 2 stars instead of 1! Not that it makes that much of a difference... Can't believe this place apparently gets booked up Saturday nights.

Walking through the restaurant it was very dark - I understand wanting a romantic ambience but this was too dark. We opted to sit outdoors which was lovely - a beautiful evening. Our server was very nice but there was some confusion about our beer order. My husband told her what he wanted, but then told her he wanted it with his meal. She said it was ordered already (goes directly from her portal to the bartender) so it is probably on the bar waiting for her. She brought it to us right away because she didn't want it to get warm on the bar, but then it sat outside and got warm while we waited an extraordinarily long time for our meal. I know that the website says everything is made to order and takes a while but this seemed like way too long. Then when it arrived the lasagne that my husband had was very dark on top as if it was burned - like it had been reheated under a burner. My eggplant lasagne was delicious. No complaints there. And our Siberatas salad was very good. I would like to go back and give it another try since everyone else seems to have a good experience.

I've actually never been asked that before. I guess I've assumed that the kitchen would prepare the dish properly. Does anyone order salmon well done? It came out medium and delicious. It was fine but I wouldn't order again, I wish I chose a pasta dish. Cocktails were fine, but we made a mistake ordering Irish coffee after dinner. We asked if it would be authentic and after waiter mentioned Baileys or crème d menthe we should have stopped there. So disappointing, but our own fault.

It was all edible, but there were problems with every single thing we ordered. We started with the marinated mushroom & sausage flatbread: one of the better items and fairly tasty with a tomato sauce base, could have used a tart element like a balsamic drizzle to wake it up a bit. My husband got the Korean bbq burger, which at $27 was honestly a bit insane and doubly so when it wasn't good. There's not a single thing that was wrong, the whole conception is an epic fail. A beef burger should not have an intense taste of soy. Sorry, harsh but true. The exorbitant price is insult to injury. The ham and cheese croquettes should never have been offered with the cinnamon sugar dusting. Another bizarre pairing that makes no sense in your mouth and adds nothing. The dijonnaise was good if a bit mild... amp up the savory flavor and put more ham in the mix with a touch more salt please. Finally, the Public Salad was a good base but needs a bit of a vinegar component to make it sing. I'd recommend red wine vinegar, just a small splash in the dressing. Overall enjoyed it and the chicken was adequately moist. Thank you for having us.

My husband and son enjoyed The Bird (a grilled chicken hoagie) and my SIL had the My Way (fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, and balsamic reduction on a baguette) and she was able to restrain herself to only eating half because she wanted to enjoy it again the next day! I picked up some Tates cookies and bananas to round out the meal and I have to say this was so incredibly enjoyable! We have rarely gone to Guidos in the past however recently I went to see if I could pick up a Berkshire food item to bring as a hostess gift and the person who helped me was incredibly knowledgable and went out of her way to find what I was looking for. The checkout people are so nice and friendly. The only two drawbacks and what is making this a four star rating rather than a five: the prices ($$$$$) and the crowded parking lot.

First the positives: the chicken fingers are delicious, plump and juicy with a nice crispy fried batter. The pork egg rolls were good although not out of the ordinary. The lo mein noodles were good but we had issues with the pork in it which leads to the negatives. We ordered the boneless pork spareribs and they were not the usual thicker strips of pork one would get in other Chinese restaurants but were cut jerky style into very thin strips that were so tough and chewy, that some had to be thrown out, even though the flavor was good. This is also why the lo mein was substandard, because they used the same strips of pork in the lo mein, not the usual diced meat I've gotten elsewhere. The other disappointing dish was the curried chicken. I'm not a lover of too much spice or heat but there was so little curry in this, that it was too bland even for me. I could barely discern any curry in it. I would still order chicken fingers from them but would never order pork from them again. I will have to read other reviews to see what others recommend because I definitely want to give them another chance as the food was delivered quickly and was quite hot.
