When a young kid is in that situation, a little compassion goes a long way. We went to the lot the next day to finish clearing the car. I decided to block him in for trying to be an asshole, which he then laid on his horn at me all because his selfishness could not be fulfilled. He then got behind me and rode my ass until I called the number on the side of his truck, found out it was the prick on the other end, and asked him what his problem is. He said he was just trying to go around me, to which I asked if he realized he was going through a school zone at almost 40 MPH. He started yelling at me saying it's Sunday and that no one has to care about the school zone (which just serves to highlight how stupid this person really is). I responded that he was wrong and that it's illegal to speed through a flashing school zone regardless of what day it is, to which he then said "FINE! CALL THE POLICE, FAGGOT!" The manager of the oil change place claimed that my car was old and that it wasn't their fault. I initially took my car to a different shop for a diagnostic, and that shop claimed the oil cooler was broken, and quoted me $3700 to fix it. I was floored by this, because the online quote from the same shop was $500-650. After they refused to budge, I found Ernie's who gave me a far more reasonable quote for the same repair. I had my car towed there, and got a call from Ernie's almost immediately. Imagine my surprise when Ernie's said that whoever had changed my oil had left the o ring off, and that's why it was leaking oil. The first shop had missed this obvious issue, and proceeded to quote me an exorbitant amount for a repair my car didn't need. Ernie's fixed it and I picked my car up the same day. I have had no other problems. Total repair was $16. Unfortunately for Ernie's they now have a customer for life. :) Save your time and come here first. I was a little stressed out because I was sitting on the side of 71 S. and they told me they would have a driver to me as quickly as they could. They gave me the amount of time it would take for the driver to get there and he got there during that time frame. The driver was so professional and so kind and I felt like he was really looking out for my well-being. I don't spend much time on the side of the road so I wasn't sure where to go or how quickly to get into the tow truck so that he could do what needed to be done.
