I requested quote and never heard back, but they came and did the cut/cap. No invoice was sent, no further contact. 4 months later, pool was completed and I contacted to have sprinklers reconnected and adjusted. The 'secretary' made the appointment for the service. When I called the day prior to ask again about a quote, I was told someone would be there to take a look the next day. I was told the appointment was for the work to be done. She then gave a rambling of numbers stating work was by the hour, and by person doing the work. I asked for a specific quote, again. The crew arrived a few days later, still no quote but was told to not be concerned, they would take care of me. The crew spent the day working, digging up pipes, heads, rocks, and placed current heads. They left at 5pm. I called the next day as no one showed back up to finish. I was told they had completed the job. There were pipes, trash, etc all over the yard. I complained and they sent someone to clean up the following day, which amounted to them picking the trash up and tossing it on the vacant lot next door. :( Then, I get an email with an invoice attached with total amount due....an extremely high amount, that is, considering the hourly quotes I was randomly told over the phone. No information on the invoice, just one bottom line number. I called to request an itemized bill, and was met with shock! It took about two weeks, and I finally got an itemized bill, that looked like the work of a kindergartner putting a puzzle together. The funny part is, the totals on the original invoice, $xxxx.84 and the itemized was $xxxx.05 were different! Hmmm. Strongly do not recommend. There are too many other options in SA and surrounding are to deal with dishonesty and avoidance. Do not use these folks!

I had a pool installed last year and at the recommendation of my builder, I hired this company to disconnect and cap my system where digging would take place. The guy that came out said when we're ready to reconnect, all he had to do was connect a couple wires and energize the rest of the motors that were still connected. I called Texas Allied (Sisco) back out to make the reconnection and Rick Neitzel, their VP of Sale and Marketing quoted me nearly $3500. He sent the technician back out when I told him what I had been told. The technician came out and said he would have the office get me on the schedule. 3 weeks later when I called about status, the lady that answered the phone told me that the technician can't overrule the VP of the company. Talk about deceptive business practices. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and possibly the State Attorney General as well.

Initial extensive assessment was on 31 Dec 2019. The entire team was professional. Courtney my designer was awesome. My greatest fear was making bad choices, expensive bad choices. No fear, if I strayed from the path, she subtlely redirected. When we finally began work, it was the last week in Aug 2020 (thank you Covid) It went beyond all expectations. All of the tradesmen were great. I was at work a majority of the time, but felt my home was safe. Communication was good. Any issues were quickly addressed. Kudos to all involved with the project but special thanks to project managers Tony and Luis. Luis had to pick up the project near the end when Tony had surgery and smoothly took over. Painters Miguel and Erasmus, Rudy, Alvin, Rob, Dan et al Pumbers, tiling and electricians were great too. 13 weeks later, mission accomplished. I was in the market for blown-in insulation, so I called KM Builders and scheduled an appointment…read morefor an attic measuring and estimate. A member of the office staff told me, in such a tone that suggested I should be impressed, that the owner Keith Moehle will personally come meet with me. So Mr. Moehle comes out and immediately starts trying to sell me on products I did not express interest in when I called. My bullsh*t detector goes off, but I give him the benefit of the doubt. When leaving, I ask Mr. Moehle when I can expect my estimate. He says after the weekend: 3-4 days. After a week I call and ask the office staff where my estimate is. They say they'll as Mr. Moehle. After two weeks I call and ask more forcefully, "where's my estimate?" They say they'll as Mr. Moehle. After two and a half weeks, I start badgering them and finally they send me an estimate. I follow up the emailed estimate with a few questions, but a week and a half after that I still have not received a response. Actually, after the first week of waiting for the estimate, I knew I wouldn't hire them, but since they wasted an afternoon for me--stayed home from work--I figured I deserved an estimate. So here is my conclusion: 1) They try to upsell you with products they claim will save you lots of money. Maybe the products are great, but if you're expecting someone to come out and bid on a specific project, but instead they bring out the dog and pony show, can they be trusted? 2) If you have to badger a contractor to send you an estimate, ...if you have to badger them to give them money, what does this say about them? What if the contractor gets his down payment for the job and then "hems and haws" on when they'll be showing up like they did for the estimate? I am not saying they do this sort of thing, but their behavior makes me a little nervous. 3) The meeting with Mr. Moehle again set off my bull detector when he started boasting about his 80 employees and radio show on WOAI radio. I didn't know he had a show, but if I paid WOAI for a weekly show about shoe laces vs. velcro straps, I am sure they'd give me air time too. A pay for play radio show doesn't necessarily translate into reliability. 4) KM Builders gave me an estimate of $2,400 for blown-in insulation. At an industry standard of $0.40/foot, that would mean I have a 6,000 square foot attic, which it isn't. Another local firm, Williams Insulation estimated $426, which was a very professionally priced bid. Mr. Moehle might give me a song and dance on William's inferior fiberglass products, and thus, their cheaper price ...but he is unresponsive.

Sat in his car for a couple hours, didn't inspect the roof, gave roof estimates higher than comparable competitor and then estimated 10k for the gutters on my 2,700 sq home. We questioned that and he lowered it to 7.2k. We have a gutter estimate for less than half that from another company. The kicker - the rep called and asked me to change this review after his departure. I told him I'd update it, so here we are.

When someone finally did arrive, the roofer was incredibly rude and flat-out refused to speak with me or answer any of my questions about my own roof. A major issue was completely missed during their first trip out here, and they refuse to explain why it wasn't caught initially or why they are suddenly claiming it isn't covered under my warranty. To make matters worse, getting a straight answer about pricing is impossible. They failed to communicate their new estimate, and when they finally sent it, it was a confusing mess. It doesn't explain what the actual problem is, what work they plan to do, and provides zero breakdown of the costs. I have been asking to speak with a manager for over a week to get these issues sorted out, and I have been completely ignored. No callbacks, no explanations, no accountability. I was told I was booked, received a text telling me to book, called to verify and was assured I was booked, and only on the fourth booking attempt did I finally receive a proper confirmation text and call. 2. Unauthorized Property Access: * The first team dispatched arrived without ever contacting me. They accessed my roof without permission and failed to ring the doorbell or knock. I was home at the time and had explicitly requested through scheduling to be phoned, texted, or have my doorbell rung. 3. Unprofessional Behavior & Disputed Work/Charges: * The most recent team dispatched was highly unprofessional; one member was actively rude and refused to speak to me. * This team simply guessed at the root cause of the issue and is now attempting to charge me for repairs that a previous team formally stated they had already completed. * Because of this contradiction, I now seriously question whether the initial sealing/repair work was ever actually performed.

I had 2 areas that had rot under the decking along with the soffit area under those areas. Alfred Trevino (Owner) and his right hand man George (carpenter) came by for an inspections identified the rotted areas, showed me, then gave me a quote that I felt was very reasonable for what was required before the roof replacement began. Once hired, he timed the work so that the carpentry was completed the day before the roofing crew came in. The crew came in and indtalked the roof in one day. They properly installed the roof addressing what was installed incorrectly by the last roofing company that replaced my roof when I first purchased this house. The workmanship actually looked good when the install was complete. Alfred worked with me in choosing color of flashing and singles. I went with the darker drip edge that looks great against the lighter color paint of the house. It made some of the color in the brick stand out. I was very impressed when all was said and done. I highly recommend using Alfred Trevino and his company, Storm Roofing. Reasonable prices, accurate quotes, flexible with scheduling, prompt, efficient AND No payment whatsoever till the job was done! (**No scanning opportunity**) I would give 6 stars if I could!
