This is the leaking radiator that came with with the car.

The car I got from R.K.Motors was going to be my Dream Car and it started the beginning of a nightmare. The body from the front driver's side fender started separating from the door. I got about a 2 in. gap between the two. This was in the first week. The front seat wouldn't fold down to get to the back. The speedometer didn't work. It had heating problems from day 1. An additional $30K has made it better but my biggest problem was the engine that it had wasn't a 502cubic inch that they claimed it was. All the badging had 502 on it. The valve covers had 502 on them and they claimed that the engine was a 502. When I let them know about it i was told that i would have to get inside the engine to be able to tell if it wasnt a 502 i let them know that the engine had been taken apart to fix all the problems that it had. I told them that it had been opened and i had the pictures to show it wasnt a 502. I thought the owner was a car guy and that he would be upset to know how they made false claims. I doubt the news ever got back to him. The folks i did speak with had no intention of making things right. So beware of this place. 65K for a car that had all the stuff not right is quite a let down. Beware of R.K.Motors. They have all the dishonest character that a used car dealer has that everyone should be leary of. So $30K later, its getting to be what it should have been when i biught it. DON'T TAKE THEIR WORD ON ANYTHING.

That's their policy, sure that's fine, but how can I realistically evaluate whether or not this vehicle is a good fit for me if I can't drive or even sit in a car that I'm seriously considering. It's simple buyer due diligence. Sales rep was really kind and accommodating outside of that setback. Great conversation.

EDIT: NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. On top of all the other problems, the engine just had a major coolant…read moreleak. I haven't even put plates on the car yet, and have already spent $12,000+ IN ONE MONTH IN REPAIRS. Buying from this dealership may be the biggest financial mistake I've ever made. Here's what happened: I finally saved up enough for my dream car, a 2015 Jaguar F Type S. I stumbled upon one that Godspeed Motors was advertising for MARKET PRICE. I chose theirs because of the specs & it having only 49k miles. I live in LA, and was unable to see the car myself before purchasing it. I understood these risks and operated under the assumption that Godspeed cared for their inventory & is honest about the car's condition. I knew there would inevitably be issues down the line, since it's a used Jaguar. Godspeed marketed the car in a way that made it look pristine and well-maintained, and the employees I spoke to also claimed that it was running well and presentable. I trusted them, biggest mistake of my life. Before I even get into the absolutely terrible condition the car arrived in, I had to go through a sketchy & unprofessional purchasing process. To start, I asked for wiring instructions and immediately sent the money to claim the vehicle, I wanted to make the process smooth for everyone. After sending them the money, the communication fell off a cliff. I had trouble reaching anyone and felt forgotten. After waiting a week, I finally received an email from their finance manager containing documents to sign. But THEY SENT ME ANOTHER CUSTOMER'S DOCS & PRIVATE INFORMATION! The level of internal disorganization at this dealership is MASKED by the pretty vehicles they have on display. Zero attention to detail. It gets worse. After that headache, I finally received the car in LA. BUT, within my FIRST MILE of driving it, the engine started sounding like a dying tractor, it was so loud & obviously damaged. I limped it to a shop and the entire supercharger had to be replaced. The mechanics couldn't believe I was sold a car with the following issues at mkt price: The parking brake was broken, the windshield wipers didn't dispense, the eco start/stop function doesn't work, and the exhaust valves don't open/close properly. It gets worse. They verbally told me they would clean it, but it arrived with glue all over the car's interior. Why was this condition never disclosed? It gets worse. I haven't even owned the car for a month and have already spent $12,000 just to get it drivable & presentable, and God knows what else is going to go wrong with this thing. This wouldn't be so bad if they'd been honest about the car's condition and didn't charge the same as competitors for a car full of issues. It gets worse. I had a 30-day warranty, and with 25 days left, I called Godspeed motors to ask for warranty help, and after 3 weeks of waiting, they had the audacity to tell me that they would only offer $500 for all of these issues, since the car was out of state. They even told me that the sound clips I posted are totally normal! Then told me to ship it back to NC to get it fixed, then have it shipped back out to LA. What?? That's $4000 just for shipping alone, what an insult. They basically told me to get lost, since they know I'm legally trapped. Once you give them your money & sign your soul away, they are going to abandon you. It gets worse, throughout this entire depressing arc, no manager or owner has been willing to speak to me. They have been hiding behind their salesmen, who are forced to be my point of contact, to create a proxy shield from me. What they are doing is legal but unethical. They shield themselves behind a moat of legal documents that protect them from any responsibility when the car you bought from them in good faith, blows up. What a tragic experience. Congratulations Godspeed, you fooled me and many others it seems. Car sellers on facebook marketplace literally treat you better than this shady organization. Don't make the same mistake as me and many others. Save your wallet and sanity, buy from elsewhere.

With it being a newer vehicle, we weren't sure what was happening when we started experiencing issues. I contacted the service department at Porsche Northlake Charlotte and, to my surprise, was transferred to my former service advisor, Logan Pope. Logan immediately recognized my voice, which was refreshing, and it was a relief to know I was speaking with someone not only knowledgeable but also someone I had worked with before. He explained that the issue was likely due to a low battery in the remote. Logan gave me the information for the exact type of battery needed, shared that he had seen a similar situation with another customer, and then patiently walked me through how to troubleshoot the problem including where to position the key when the car wasn't starting. Because of Logan's guidance, I was able to successfully start the vehicle, and make it home where I had access to my spare key. I ordered a new battery and everything has been working perfectly since. Logan's professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot over the phone left me enormously impressed. I also greatly appreciated that Logan took the time to stay with me on the call until the issue was resolved and even invited me to bring my new vehicle in for service. It is clear that he truly values his customers, whether it's a small issue like mine or a larger one. This level of service reflects the culture at Porsche Northlake Charlotte, where employees are valued and in turn value their customers. I hope the owner and upper management sees this review and recognizes Logan Pope for the outstanding service he provides. I look forward to continuing to do business with this dealership and possibly trading for another vehicle in the future. Thank you, Logan, and all the important people at Porsche Northlake Charlotte, Thank you for valuing your customers the way you do. We appreciate you!
