We were the only ones in the store which was super nice as we didn't need to worry about trying to look at everything while trying to move out of the way for other people. There's so much to look at that I could have spent at least an hour in here covering every square inch of the place looking at all the wonderful goodies like candles, signs, cards, apparel, lotions, etc. Although, I wanted many items from here, I kept my purchase to a reasonable limit. I treated myself to the exclusively To and From Gift Shop perfume oil roller. It smells SO GOOD. Honestly, I wish I would have bought 2 as I'm from out of town (6 hours away!). From cute and whimsical to fun and naughty, there is always something for everyone. The have mostly new, but they also have a few vintage items too. The look and feel of the shop is the best. I don't know where to look first. I usually make a few trips around to make sure I don't miss anything. There are just soooo many things to see. If I am looking for a gift for someone - anyone, I shop here. They have men's, women's, children, baby, home decor, accessories, coffee & tea items, greeting cards, gift wrap and the list goes on. They have a lot of nice brands here; I saw some stuff by Mayoral, Quincy Mae, Rylee and Cru, and others. They had a nice selection of stuff for both genders--a nice change since I have found (and my friends with sons have confirmed) it can be difficult to find as much for boys as for girls. In addition to the clothes, there were lots of toys and accessories. I bought some beeswax crayons that my little one was playing with (the store has a little table set up near the cash register for children to color at) and I liked the crayons a lot myself; they were really smooth. Makes me want to take up coloring more often. (Though I guess I'll have the chance with a small child.) The sizes run the childhood gamut--they have infant items all the way up to probably at least age 10. The store features a brand of the month, and a contest associated with it; if you buy an item by the brand of the month you are entered into a contest. Clever incentive. There isn't a dedicated parking lot, but the downtown (?) Kenosha area has plenty of street parking.

It should be noted that this review takes place at the location on 7th street and they have since moved but I feel confident in saying the overall atmosphere and experience will remain the same. I regret I do not have any pictures of the new location on 6th Street but it also is very nice. They went out of their way to make the party area special (which they decorate nicely for an small extra fee) and were helpful in instructing the kids (and adults). They stood by ready to help without being obtrusive or overbearing and were relaxed and fun to talk to. There are different prices of party packages but all include different options of pottery to paint. This party package includes the painting. If you wish to have food you can bring pizza and they have a neat deal with Kaiser's pizza (I'll also review) who will deliver and give you a discount if you're having a party at Alpaca. This is a very cool option if you're looking for something interesting and fun that is outside of standard birthday party venue. You will be able to pick up the pottery prices in one week and they come nicely wrapped. Everyone had a great time, we'll be going back again. Thank
