Didn't receive any contact from Jeffery or anyone from the office until April 28th....10 days after the deadline. Mike called and said he'd need addition information to file the taxes and I provided that. My taxes were filed roughly 2 weeks late which came with some penalties for failure to file on time and interest on what I owed. JCMP and Associates refuses to reimburse me the penalties I received from the IRS for failure to file on time. Best he could do is a credit for next year which means I would have to continue doing business with this company. Do not want that. Why would I hire someone again who failed to do their job on time? And worst of all Mike is lying to me saying he tried to call multiple times before the deadline to get the addition information. I have a call log and voicemails from the first time I was contacted on April 28th asking for that information....10 days after the deadline! Sounds to me like they were too busy and didn't get around to my paperwork in time and refuse to own up to their mistake and pay my penalties

They told me it would be $175 originally but ended up charging me $50. I tried to pay with a $100 bill. They didn't have change so I said I would bring it back. They called me 3 times!!!! "When are you bringing the $50?" I was gone 2 hours! They sure did pick up the phone to "remind" me to come back and pay but couldn't do that when I was wondering where my paperwork was? Cost me almost 2K total. Refused to return my call to provide any explanation. Simply told her staff to say, "she's very busy". I should've heeded the 1st red flag: emailed a bill for $125, out of the blue ... NO INVOICE. After calling to inquire, told it was for a 10-15min. conversation.
