I wasn't going to wait until 9-10 pm for a tech to fix my garage door issue. Following morning I went on yelp and called Felix. He called back and asked him since I had to be at work at a certain timeframe when can he fix the issue and pricing. He gave me 2 quotes on pricing $ 150-250 for the service. I was kinda iffy about his business because he only had 2 reviews on yelp plus it was many yrs back. Felix and I spoke and he mentioned he will start his work routes with me first since I was on a time crunch. He arrived around 9am ish when the phone call was made around 8am ish. He arrived with his company truck and a partner. I told him to text me once he is done. He finished the job less than 20-30 mins. He added a work marketing sticker to my garage door opener LOL to remind myself I guess to call him for future services and perhaps reminder who fixed my issue. He mentioned he added additional fixing on my garage door but warned me my springs might be an issue in the future because the garage has been with the house since it has been built. He accepts cash, card and mobile payments. He did add tax to the final pricing which was about 10-12 dollars more. Felix did his job and was professional. I would hire him again for future garage door issues.

A very large company was called and installed new rollers, new springs and re-aligned the tracks.This took less than 3 hours and the bill looked like they had worked for three days. This weekend, our remote would open the door but would not close it. An internet search indicated a crack in the circuit board and a neighbor gave us a number to call. What a difference... Felix Mosquea is the man. He came out right away and after a few tests, confirmed that there was a problem in the circuit board. Because the opener was over twenty years old, the options were easy to understand. He showed us how the Florida heat had pretty much baked all the inside components and advised going with a new unit. Not only did he install a newer unit with features we did not know existed, he showed us how the previous repair had contributed to the electrical failure. The springs were set at the wrong tension which contributed to the circuit failure. The board was on it's way out anyway but the incorrect tension on the new springs hastened the failure. You have to admire someone who knows his stuff. Felix is one of those folks who look at things from the customers viewpoint and has thier interests at heart. Call him first and save time, worry and money. Sometimes the best does cost less.

Edison charged me $325 to fix my garage door to include a 10 pack of wheels that Edison stated multiple times were $150. He stated that I absolutely needed them to fix the door. I kept going back and forth with him that I didn't want to change them now. He just did not want to do the work without charging a much higher cost. I attempted to work with him on a price but they communicated to me that they were going to lose money if they gave me a cheaper price. Shortly after he left, I looked up what the cost of those wheels were. I looked at Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon and many more. That same 10 pack of wheels were costing between $20 and $30 depending on the quality. So at $325 with 1 hour worth of work, he made out with $300 clean. Something in how he was talking to me, I knew that something didn't seem right given the workload. Its my fault for not keeping him honest but one thing that I do not tolerate is a liar that tries to take advantage of others. He made his money and I can't change that. What I can change is the reputation of this company to ensure that this doesn't happen to anyone else. I trusted them and they took advantage of me. This is just a bad business that is looking for the next sucker to take advantage of. Please learn from my mistakes.

The new spring just broke, which is odd since a spring should last between 6 and 10 years and theirs didn't even last 2. When I called to have them honor their warranty and replace the spring they told me it would be $100 and they would be out at 9 a.m. the next day. I don't know why I have to pay another $100 when something is under warranty but we'll overlook that. They didn't show up so we called back and they said they would be here between 11 and 1, no show again then they said they would be here by 3. At 4pm they finally admitted no one would be out at all, that was 2 days ago. Since then we have called several times and sent texts and they refuse to even give us the courtesy of answering the phone or calling us back. It has become quite clear that they are simply refusing to honor their own warranty. At this point I am unable to close my garage door at all which means someone can walk right into my garage and then into my home. I am a disabled single mother and as such am unable to fight back.
