Price was never discussed during the initial process at all, which I can take some blame for for not asking. The dress took 2.5 weeks to be done. It was well done. The problem I have is the pricing. The dress itself cost me less than $120 and when I picked the dress up, the alterations cost me $175. It was quite shocking. Again, well done alterations but is expensive. The dress also wasn't steamed when I picked it up either.

I don't think my alterations were terribly complicated, but she makes the entire process feel painless either way. Not only is she a talented seamstress, she is a master of time management because her little shop is always busy yet she's always willing to take a new project. Her rates feel fair and affordable, especially considering I put her in a time crunch. I'm so glad to have found Loiza so I can be a little more worry free when clothes shopping as a short gal :)
