I Ordered tires to have them installed at Road Ready who is an authorized installer. The tires arrived on Friday. I called and set up an appointment to come on Monday. I drove to the store and found out that somebody didn't know what these cars were for when they arrived Friday and sent them back to the supplier. Nobody called me to let me know and when I came to the dealer I was told that I would have to re-order the tires and come back. I reordered them that same day and received a call that the tires had arrived, I can come in and have them installed. When I arrived, I was told I would have to wait two hours. I asked George why he didn't tell me when he called?? I told him if he did I would not have come as I didn't have the time to wait hours to have four tires installed. The entire experience was unacceptable. Extremely disappointed if anybody would run a business this way. read more

I love this place the entire staff, including all the mechanics are all friendly, and knowledgeable on this specific visit I came into the shop for service and met with Liz, Steve, George, and John a very nice crew in the office. At this location the atmosphere is great no one to pressure you to have un wanted work done they will give you great advise and recommendations, very easy people to talk with they all make you feel welcome this place also offers a Master Inspection they document every step with pictures for their customers to assure us of what's going on. they have fresh coffee and a TV in the waiting room along with a pick up and drop off service, I really do not know of many places that do this. The mechanics are all great no matter what person worked on your vehicle you will be happy with the 2-year warranty they provide with all work they do. The mechanics will also keep your vehicle clean they use plastic to cover seats, steering wheel they disinfect the vehicle what else can you ask for this place has it all, don't take my word for it go visit them and you will see what I do and feel at ease a professional; company is taking good care of you. Real honest people! Brought my car here with a Groupon for an oil change, they called me and told me i needed a tire rotation but i declined because I'm turning my lease in soon. I went to pick up my car and redeem my groupon, they told me my Groupon actually included the rotation and put my car back in the garage and did it for me at closing time even after i told them i would come back another day so they could go home. 5 stars!!! i will definitely be coming back here for sure, great customer service read more

They also researched an engine issue and printed all info out of me. No pressure from them at all. He told me what is a right now problem and what can be held off on. Absolutely Amazing!!! Had to do a NYS inspection on my car. I drove up, they said they were booked for that day if I could wait til next week. I told them maybe not, for my inspection was past due. They said no problem, if I left the car the next day they would take care of it and have it ready by the end of the day or sooner. I have had inspections before at many other places. There was no one close to their customer service. They texted me to keep me updated and after the inspection was done sent me a full "Vehicle Health" Inspection detail with superior notes. They categorized what passed, what was non-urgent (update on another visit) and what was urgent (should be done sooner than later). I was blown away by this analysis report. They even had pictures of what they inspected near each section. We discussed the report and we're able to take care of a few things there. They were not pushy at all about getting things done at their place, they were very kind and knowledgeable and I felt like they wanted what was best for the car without adding pressure to me to purchase anything...this rarely happens at an auto body place. Absolutely Amazing! I would definitely be coming back here for superior care with my car and wonderful customer service. I would highly recommend Road Ready to all my friends. These guys are scam artist. They charged me $300 just to look at my car. He litereally just looked at my car for 30 mins and charged me for 3 hours. Best place to go if you need a repair or any automotive service done. Unlike other places everyone here all staff all mechanics owner everyone has a great pleasant way of making a customer feel at home and welcomed with open arms. Refreshments were offered a waiting room with a TV fast honest and quality work. My first time here I dealt with Jose and a few others very nice explained everything what I like most is they take pictures and document everything and give you access to it. I brought my daughters 2007 Ford explorer in for service knowing it needs a few things, I knew it needed and Ford dealership said everything was fine and passed a quality inspection, for the record it should have FAILED. Anyway Ford dealership also gave my a next oil change free coupon. Knowing all this I decided to skip the free oil change and I went to look for service and came across Road Ready it had many great reviews so I called then made a visit and I am glad I did. They did what they call a Master inspection and found all the problems with the vehicle that Ford failed to find, Road Ready found and gave me gave me a list and showed me pictures. This place also goes that extra mile and provides a drop off service this was great because they had to replace the transmission at a shop they deal with named Advance Transmissions they replaced my transmission when it was done Road Ready tested it before they gave it back and even drove the vehicle to me and it has been working flawlessly ever since thank you all at Road Ready we are very happy. I actually never had my car serviced here. My car was due for an inspection quickly. I think i had like one more day left so i was driving around on a Saturday afternoon around 1 pm trying to find a spot with availability. I stopped by 2-3 spots before coming here to 'Road ready' and I asked the guy how long for an inspection and he said 2 hours. I had a frustrated look on me because again my inspection was due the next day, I had to pick up my daughter from dance and I couldn't find a location that was available NOW. He saw my frustration and said "you can leave your car here and I could drive you home and then pick you up when the car is ready?". Who does that???? An inspection is how much 30 bucks or something like that and he wanted to drive me home and pick me up just to gain my business. He doesn't even know where i live. I politely told him no I couldn't wait because I needed to pick up my daughter with the car and he apologized. I left and finally found a place but I never quite forgot what that gentleman told me so I had to write this review. I know good service when I see it and i know when people are honest and that guy that i spoke to was honest and reliable and very hospitable. I've been using Road Ready mechanics since before they moved down the block to this location. They always do excellent work, and I have never had any issues with them. They only use original parts from the vehicle manufacturer - which probably has a lot to do with the reliability! This place is the biggest rip off in NYS. Don't go unless you want to pay 4 times the price you should pay. They wanted to charge me $204.32 to change a wheel stud. There charge for the stud cost less than $10.00 dollars. I brought it to a different shop who charged me $ 45.00 which included the stud. read more

I only went there because i got a coupon in the mail that said get 15% off your next service when you sign up for the rewards program. So i signed up and when they were done said i couldn't use the coupon because apparently 'off your next service' means you have to get something done and then on your Second visit it you can use it. You Should really make that clear because that's not what it says. I also needed an inspection and i had a messed up headlight which is visible from the get go. So i failed because of that. Thats fine i totally understand that. But if you saw that from the beginning before you even started and knew i wouldn't of passed i Obviously wouldn't of continued the inspection and payed for it. If you were a decent business man, if you saw that right off the bat you should've called prior to continuing or something so i didn't waste the money. Ive had mechanics give me heads up before hand so i don't waste money and thats why i continue to go to them. Like i said i only went there because i had the coupon and i couldn't even use that. I recently for the first time had my car serviced at Road Ready on North Jerusalem Rd. in East Meadow. As my cars are now getting older I wanted to find a reliable and fair service station that I can confidently bring my business to going forward. I met John the manager and I really liked him personally which is important to me. He communicated everything in terms that I can understand. He also suggested not insisted on services that I might want to consider in the near future based upon the age of my car. Road Ready sells the worst propane tanks, tanks were old the gauge doesnt work properly. I was told propane 20lbs but it ended up being 15lbs. Also the price of propane changes changes with cash & credit card. Service was not good at all not very friendly. I went back to change the propane tank they wouldnt change it. I wont be going there anymore. read more
