I found this place for my sister and my mom after their 1st bad experience with a diff rv resort with all these crazy fees and hoa bs. We are all super happy with this place especially for the price ! But let's keep it that way ! lol great place to call home for a few months or even longer! Def recommend! Wow, for all you negative reviewers, it is an RV park, 429.00 per mo. not a strip resort destination that you pay 200-500 dollars per Nite to stay plus tips and gratuities and tax. It has a pool, laundry and office the is open every day except major holidays and at lunch time, all office hours, as well as rules, are posted as you enter the office. As for those complaining about having to pay in cash, where were you in the 70,s 80.s and even into the 90s, we used cash for everything, except large purchases that needed a credit card. guess you were brought up sucking on plastic and paying high bills every month for the privilege, probably pay for groceries with a credit card, foolish at best, using that debit card to much as well, get some cash from the ATM at your bank, it isn't that difficult, My opinion. as for any animal problems, I was asked when I arrived if I had any, told them no, end of conversation, was warned about hiding any, do Not blame them, they make a mess and owners fail to clean up after them. Saw very old post on here about vagrants and hookers in/around street/park, I have been here 2 months now, have not seen but 1 guy sleeping in his sleep bag around the dumpster area, told security, which I have seen Every Nite I have been here, I'm a nite owl type, and dude was gone, haven't seen him since. Long review because I am so appreciative and have nothing but praise, and coverage of my experience so far. Don't cause trouble or be a snot and you'll be perfectly happy here waiting out Covid and for your future to change! Two adults, I'm 33, I have an insanely cute cat that loves staring at the neighbors, I'm a friendly yet shy homebody, and I adore the 3 office staff I've met. I use my own shower and haven't taken advantage of the pool/hot tub yet. Electricity is the cheapest or on par of any other LV parks I've been in yet. Laundry room is plentiful and very fairly priced, but don't do your laundry on Sundays as there's a woman that consumes 6-all machines including the ones by the pool and will slam the door on your face and have an attitude at all other laundry-doers... wondering if she was behind the sloppily marked "FREE" laundry pile I found tossed aside one day. ‍ Beware, she WILL move your laundry to make room for hers. Hailey and her mom (Cookie I think) have been nothing but pleasant, and the reviews regarding "gossip?" It's up to the staff how they choose to spend their downtime, like chatting with co-workers and anyone who stops to talk. From my experience, this is just work life. We've all done it, you're a liar to say otherwise. As for the review about hiding the extra dog "for their friend," they admitted in their review to lying so reap what you sow. Neighbors are very friendly, though we somewhat keep to ourselves. I feel safe that there's cameras and security driving around and one of my neighbors has cameras and looks out for creepers. This place is one of the best affordable parks in LV to stay at, and I've stayed at about 3 now during my time in Vegas (my parents are in one in Boulder and they aren't so happy), and this place has been the friendliest to me. I feel welcome in the office and the park overall, which says a lot because I have anxiety working myself up to talk to people (not that I'm antisocial, just shy and introverted), and I didn't even feel this welcome at Oasis RV RESORT where I was well loved for swimming around as a mermaid, but paying rent was socially uncomfortable. We are a bit new to the rv life so some of our comments may be because of that but we tried our best to be objective. We would give the park more stars but the way we left just did not sit right with us so we had no choice but to rate it as low as we can. Pros: Decent park with affordable price. The area is not so great but we use to live close by so we're used to it. We didn't use all the amenities but their pool looks ok and they have two laundry rooms and restrooms but not sure how nice those are. Overall it's not a bad park but it makes our cons and comment below harder to write because we wish the best for other RVers. Cons: No specific dog areas so you have to walk them and if they use the grass make sure to clean it. There seem to be people living here for like 20+ years which means there is junk and old looking Rvs around. The don't have a POS(point of sale) system so they just handle everything in cash which seems unnecessary with all the options and technology out now. There are people making noise, building stuff, doing repairs but all that is not allowed by their policy. Some people even leave their dogs outside and they bark at people walking by. In the park policy it clearly states that pets are not supposed to be left unattended and that barking dogs will not be tolerated. Not a huge deal for us but after you read our comment below you may either sympathize or not, on whether we have a right to be angry or not. Their policy even allows their management to change or add whatever rules they please but it seems they do so with the good ole boy system because if your a stranger they look for reasons to not like you so you can leave. Rant & Complaint: My husband and I stayed there for two weeks and didn't have any problems until the manager Cookie, decided to target us for helping a friend and their dog in need which felt like discrimination and borderline racism. We have two small dogs which is the maximum allowed but we had to watch a friend's dog so we had to lie until we figured out where to take their dog. This offended the manager and she seemed surprised that someone would lie for a dog. We tried telling her we are finding a home for the dog but instead of working with us, the manager just told us to leave because we lied. I get it they have that right and we don't want to cause problems but it just felt inconsiderate and wrong. Especially during a time where we were supposed to be self-quarantined and avoid traveling. She didn't seem to care about our safety, our baby, our pets, or them losing a paying customer. She seemed arrogant and unsympathetic to anyone but her feelings or how she will look with her friends, bosses or whatnot. Also, talking to her and the girl in the front counter(her daughter) we felt uncomfortable because they always seemed angry and responded very rude, as if they lack common courtesy. Regardless of the price of staying here some manners and customer service are expected. Our biggest issue was how they handled this and the fact that they didn't care about the Coronavirus situation or the what if's that are super important to think about. When my husband talked to the manager to try and explain the situation and if they can work with us until we find a home for our friends dog she just kept saying we lied and that's our policy. Her and the office staff are very rude and not willing to work with us. We asked to talk to someone else, such as their owner and she denied our request using Walmart as an analogy, which seems far fetched since this company is nowhere the size or complex as that giant and not even in the same industry. She refused to give us the owners' name and contact information. We are working to place a formal complaint and see if the government and police can educate these people on how to handle a pandemic and maybe even learn some customer service. We hope no one suffers real problems from these people during this time or in the future. We actually wanted to be here and thought it was fine, even though we did have other RVers caution us about this place. I guess they were right, these people have lived here so long they forget how to treat strangers and we think they shouldn't be managing an Rv park that's all about hospitality and people. It's a shame that even in a pandemic, people can be cold and selfish but that's the world we live in. Our recommendation for RVers is avoid this place and pay a little extra for a better option or come at your own risk but leave as soon as you can. I checked into the road runner rv park in Las Vegas nv They tell you to bring cash they don't accept anything else. I was told 127.00 plus tax per week electric is extra. I brought in 140.00 cash. The girl behind the desk is rude, unprofessional, has the worse attitude I have ever seen. I was 3.50 short. I asked her if she could put it on my bill and I would bring it into her on Wednesday. She said nope. So I had to tow my camper several miles to find a bank and again come back to check in. It doesn't pay to shop for the best prices you get what you pay for. Oh 1 more thing she asked me the year of my camper which is knew. But let me tell you after driving around that park it's a real dump . So buyer beware . I bought a Tuff Shed 6×12 and placed it on the site. After I was told I can have a shed. Then the manager came and said it has to be 8×10 and I have to get rid of it. I would accept and extra $50 rental charge or something. But this is now a financial nightmare since this one has been built. Everything fits well within my space allowed. I'm actually really surprised by all the negativity this place has received. Is this the Taj Mahal of RV parks? Not at all. Do you get exactly what they state you will? Yes! What did you expect for $150/week?!?! This is the second time we have stayed at Road Runner in our 33' coach. We have never had any issues. This is not an on-strip location and does not claim to be. It is, for the most part, a quiet park that is out of the way. I have dealt with 2 ladies at the front desk and both of them were incredibly kind. One reviewer was offended by being asked what year their RV was. Well, in the 2 years I have been full time in my coach, almost every park asks this. Get over it. If that is all it takes to offend you, it is probably rather difficult to please you. Bottom line...we saw no sketchy behavior inside the park. We saw security patrolling every night. If you are an intelligent, able-bodied adult, you should have no issues. read more

Its pretty affordable place. You stay for under $400 a month + Electricity. I stayed here with my Travel Trailer for 2 weeks. They have OK management. Remember.. they ONLY TAKE CASH! (kinda annoying) 18 min drive from the main strip.. (Paris Hotel) The pool is ok.. Have laundry.. Water is Horrible! Taste bad and have lots of calcium in it. A lot of full timers here... $18/night FHU for first 3 nights and $22/night after that. They do have weekly and monthly rates. Although sites are small, 75% of them are pull throughs at same price as back ins. CASH only. No credit cards. Park felt safe and secure. No seedy characters. Had plenty of long term people but seemed like people from construction who came home from work and were quiet at night. Nice laundry room and showers. Pet friendly at NO extra charge. Overall for our needs it was close to places we needed to go and two casinos nearby and also the Longhorn Casino for old small town vegas feeling. Would have given them 5 stars but no wifi. Front office (Cookie) was not exactly warm and friendly but she was professional. Manager was a lot nicer. read more

I've stayed here several times... some stays were just a couple of weeks, and others were a few months. I'd bounce around the desert; I'd be in Vegas, I'd go to Tucson for a week, stop at a few other places for a day or two each, then stay in Laughlin for a week, and then return to the Road Runner. It wasn't always "great" but it was always a good or pretty good. Sometimes I'd get stuck next to some noisy people, sometimes I'd get stuck next to a very nosy person. I know they were just being friendly in their mind but questioning my every move of the day is very rude to me, I don't need that interrogation. If that happened, I'd just move to another space if one were available. I wouldn't let it bother me. I don't stick my nose into anyone's business and some think I'm rude because I don't want to sit outside their camper for hours and hours getting drunk. I don't drink and I have no desire at all to sit around "doing nothing". I'll speak to people and be friendly but I don't gossip or just ramble on about nonsense (I hope). I don't speak unless I have something to say... As for sitting around talking and talking, about five minutes is my limit... I have places to go and things to do; trails to drive down, a big lake to jump in or to kayak across. There are always exceptions to any rules, I suppose. I did have a few interesting talks with the new person in the office, Cookie's daughter, I failed to ask her name. Not sure how things will turn out for me after being unemployed for almost all of 2020, it isn't looking good but I hope things will turn around and I can make it back to Nevada. I just have to say that I should have explored my options many years before I finally did... life in the desert is what I should have had most of my life, but I had been stuck in extremely boring Indiana and Illinois. Boring to me, anyway... People I know just work themselves to death, never take vacations even when they can afford to, never go anywhere... they either work, work, work or watch TV and stuff themselves to death. Not everyone in those states, but most of my extended family and the people I happened to work with. I used to work myself to death too. My job required it. I used to work 80 and 90 hour weeks... and I'd use my vacation. If I flew to Las Vegas or Miami for a week, everyone I knew acted like I did something unthinkable, like I took a trip to the moon or something. I was crazy because I tried to enjoy my life at least part of the time. Anyway, this year (2020), I was planning on staying longer. I got a job at the new Amazon facility in Henderson, even though their pay is horrible... I worked there for two weeks and then they started sending me home, saying that my temperature was too high. After the 3rd or 4th time, they told me to get tested for Covid. I did. I got a test and I never got the results. Two weeks later, I was tested again and I got the results in 3 days. Amazon didn't want to hear it. They terminated me for job abandonment because THEY SENT ME HOME and told me to stay away from them until I got a negative Covid test result. Anyway, my temperature never read high at any casino or when I checked it myself. I think Amazon's equipment was faulty or in need of calibration. Ok, I've went off on a tangent... if I still had a job, then I'd still be at this RV Park right now. read more

Danger! Beware of this place! I was there for a week. Looks nice but looks can be deceiving. Had my wallet stolen. Had my wife and children threatened. Pedafile constantly driving by and watching my kids. Staff is rude and will overcharge you for electricity. Why stay here when there are so many other places? Even just down the street there are better places for the same price (you wont be saving anything when the electric bill comes). Look I am writing to warn you. If you don't listen. Then I told you so in advance. I am not the type to complain (this is my first negative review ever). I am just concerned about what might happen to your children or wife if you stay here. My wife and I first stayed here in 2015 for two weeks; everything was OK. We were new to RV'ing. Stayed here again 3 times in 2016; everything was good. Nice pool, nice showers, passable laundry rooms. They are clear on their policies and it makes no sense why anyone is complaining about them not allowing old RVs - almost all RV parks do this for extended stays and a lot (like this one) have that policy for even overnighters. So what? They make it clear. And now here is the bad part. We went back in 2017, they added security cameras all over the place. That's fine. But it is very inappropriate and pretty perverted to have a security camera in your face when you're relaxing in a hot tub. Some of the employees openly criticize and laugh about the "fat slobs" they've seen on video in swimsuits while they hang out and gossip in the office. There is a lot of gossip and nosy crap going on here; I hadn't ever seen this in my life, I had no idea anyone really lived like that. The people here thrive on it. And then they do have security on most nights, a guy drives around in a white pickup, but then he isn't able to do anything... he just takes down license numbers or space numbers of where the disturbance occurred. Not only that, he stops during his patrol at various spaces to sit and chat with his buddies all through the night. The problem is that the security guard practically yells when he speaks at night. We were 3 aisles away and he kept us awake all night during half of our stay. We complained to the office, we confronted him. He said, "I AIN'T BOTHERING YOU!". The office said to leave if we didn't like that they had security. One guy next to where the guard was hanging out had to move to a more expensive park because he just started a new job and couldn't get any sleep. I mean, this guy has a loud booming voice... yeah, he was using his "outside voice" outside, but he was disturbing lots of people. His chats would start at 1am and end around 4 or 5 am. He's very rude and inconsiderate. He would talk non-stop for hours, he wasn't patrolling. We were three aisles over and 4 spaces up... with our TWO A/C's on, we could clearly hear his every word. We packed up and moved to Sam's Town KOA... paid almost twice as much for a month, actually had wi-fi, two great pools, two great hot-tubs and no perverts monitoring your every swimsuit or bikini moment on a security monitor. And it was so quiet... and everyone minded their own business. read more

Thought we'd give this place a try upon recommendation from camping friends. Full hook ups @ $16.00/night for first 2, then $20.00/night is the special right now. Or $112.00/week for 37' which is good, but then additional charge depending on electricity used. Not a high charge, but I don't want to have to worry about conserving. That's what dry camping is for. Anyways, we got an upfront spot facing Boulder. Close to a lot of your regular neighborhood shopping; Walmart, Rite Aid, your usual fast food, plus Sam's Town, Arizona Charlie's and Boulder Station. Usual noises, cars, trucks, sirens, helicopters. Gal at front desk very accommodating, laundry $1.00 wash, $1.00 for 55 min. dryer time. Skipping the showers, bathrooms and pool. Of the few people we came across, friendly. Mostly full-timers here. Park seems well kept, but no security. Seems like there should be since most rigs are left unattended, but there's probably a lot of regulars and they watch out for each other. Would come here again next year. Ok so I will start by telling you a little about my rv. Its a bit older. Its a 1999 Winnebago Adventurer 37 ft. It was $179,900.00 when new. It is a beautiful machine. Its still worth 25,000+. So heres what happened. I showed up in vegas and Had it inspected at Sams Town RV. Upon seeing it, they approved it no questions asked. I paid for a month there but wanted to check out my other options. I stopped by Road Runners and asked them If they would allow it there. I told her its age, and she let me go no further. She said nothing older than 2000. They has several RVs in there way older and many newer that were Junk. I tried to ask her to inspect it and see about a exception. She said she doesnt care how nice it is. She had a major attitude. I also upon driving through, discovered that they have no dog area and ZERO options for wifi at your site. read more
