I've tried this place 3 separate times... the one last week will be my last: - bartenders not correctly wearing masks during COVID (Darleen in particular wearing just a small face shield basically around her neck - not covering her mouth or nose... several others not covering nose with their masks) -bartenders hugging/touching patrons then going back to serving drinks without washing/sanitizing their hands -completely burnt the bottom of our pizza -mimosa in a tiny Dixie cup and was still $8 SKIP!! read more

Sorry Roadhouse, I really want to love you but you drop the ball every time. The Roadhouse is in a great location, smack in the middle of Cave Creek. It is a biker bar the features live music and a rebel feel. However, the bands are, well freaking loud, and not exactly leaving me anything to write home about ( with the exception of Bad June who I love). I had the misfortune of eating there and I can honestly say it was just awful. The drink prices are great, but (like most venues in Cave Creek) bartender dependent. You'll pay $6 for a drink from one bartender and $10 from a different bartender for the same drink at the same bar! The place is huge and during the week they have acoustic musicians who are light years better than the bands. Although the place is seemingly very cool they are never crowded, never. There's a sort of strange energy in there, like the staff is irritated or something. They may account for the lack of customers. It's sad because it could be a kick ass place but misses the mark by a long shot. Sorry Roadhouse! I really really want to love you. read more

Great place to hang out! However, Brandon who was taking food orders on 2/23 needs to seriously learn some customer service skills! I sat in line and repeatedly watched him be rude to customers. When a customer came up asking about her order that was placed about 20 minutes ago? His response was we have been yelling your name for 10 min so we placed it on the back table. Mind you, there was a live band and I personally never heard anyone's name called. Another guy stated he was going to wait for his order because of that exact reason. Brandon states very rudely that it was going to be a long wait. It only takes one bad interaction with a rude person to ruin the whole experience! On weekends you can see just about every custom motorcycle and car that goes by, from the comfort of one of the many road facing bar seats. Unfortunately the bud light tastes like sour shit and when I asked the bartender if it was bud light, she said "yes" and kinda scoffed and chuckled like I was stupid. I think the stupid one is the whoever can't hook up the keg properly. But that's just my opinion. read more

I will not ever go to this bar again. After being an avid customer for 2 years, we took our family and friends here for a fun night and one of the bartenders that served us was 100% drunk. He lost my boyfriends card and then claimed it was his fault and stolen off the table when it was given back. It was not given back as my boyfriend never signed for the purchase or said to open a tab. Once he came over to "apologize" aka cover his ass and claimed it was my boyfriends fault he then continued to call me a bitch for saying that was not true. So unprofessional even for a dive bar. We had MULTIPLE other people come over and claim their card was lost while speaking to this bartender/manager ending up in us leaving while the horrible bartender just walked away. After many experiences here we will not be going back for the way the bartender and manager handled the situation. We understand the circumstances and accepted the card being lost but being a sarcastic asshole and using excuses to cover your ass and being disrespectful is never okay. Go somewhere that's actually worth your time. read more

Keep on going... to another place. We ate here a couple of months ago. This is all you need to know: VERY loud, obnoxious patrons (they seem to like it that way), low quality food, no service from bartenders (unless you are wearing a HD t-shirt). Cave Creek needs a lot of things. Roadhouse is not one of them. It just reinforces the community as a destination for drunks. I had a burger. It was over cooked. The fries it came with were just your every-day food service stuff out of a box. My beer was cold. My friend had the nachos, loaded. The chicken was very dry and the plastic-cheese became a solid mass quickly. I am willing to give them an honest try, but I was extremely disappointed. read more

There's some really cool bike decor here and not only that our food was pretty darn good. The employees were very friendly and I felt a great atmosphere. My chicken sandwich tasted charbroiled which is perfect for me. My BF was very happy with his Reuben. The drinks were worthy. We sat out on the big ass patio with slews of seatery. It was sort of random with some creativeness. A mix of people and was cool to bide our time watching the parade of vehicles go by with the beautiful backdrop of mountains. read more

Awesome biker bar up in cave creek. Huge space inside and out with big garage doors that open the whole place up when it's nice outside. They've got a typical "American bar menu" with things like sandwiches, burgers, etc. Fun atmosphere and tvs all around. Fire pit area on the patio is nice to relax around. They also show the fights there so it can get packed! read more

Absolutely horrific service. We were told multiple times that a waitress (who was also one of the bartenders) would come over to get our drink and food order. Not once did someone come over, I went up several times to try and order food and drinks since we were not being helped and we were still told to just go sit back down. The drinks were good and the music was good until I was rudely escorted out of the premises for simply dancing and having a good time. The owner's son rudely made me leave when I was just having fun with my friends. I wanted to stay and enjoy the music but apparently that's not allowed at this restaurant. So beware, no fun is allowed at Roadhouse. Very disappointed, I will not return to this establishment (mainly because I have been banned). read more

Mark's new location brings the feel of the original hideaway into a new venue and does it well. The serving staff is fantastic, the food is delicious and the beer is cold. While I personally prefer the Grill, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the decoration brings a great ambiance. It's also much more welcoming for the non-biker crowd with car parking and more inside seating. It's also a better location for the sports enthusiast with more televisions tuned to the current games. read more

Me and my family are from out of town visiting family and wanted to find a few bars to stop at being that they live near the area. Walked into this bar and wasn't too kindly greeted by the waitress. When we decided to go take a seat on the patio one of the "regulars" looked at that same waitress and said "they're from ______." She proceeded to roll her eyes, look at us, and walk over. Really disappointed. We showed up. Waited 10 min on one side of the bar (mind you it's only 5pm and there's maybe 20 people in the bar) and the bartender saw us, yet ignored us. So, we moved to the other side of the bar. Waited 10 minutes, and she saw us and decided to clean up dirty glasses instead of offer us a drink. We waited 5 more minutes then left. Terrible customer service. It was slow yet they still couldn't get us a drink within 20 minutes. We won't return. read more

Cool, Hideaways little brother. It's nice to bounce back and forth between the two bars. We are live music lovers so Sat & Sun we start at Roadhouse listen for awhile, then head to Hideaway and listen to more live music. Drinks are decent here, didn't have any food. I have no complaints about this kick ass biker bar. NOTE WORTHY: Go to the bathroom here before you head to Hideaway, bathrooms are 10X nicer here. read more

Stopped in for bike week. We've been to other bars in the area, but this was our first time here. There were multiple vendors set up and an outside bar. The service was great, even had Corona Light on hand (most bars don't). My husband was glad to find it. We had a great time and will definitely be back. If you're in Cave Creek stop in. read more

Cruising through the area with a group and wanted to get a few beers and something to eat. The place was packed so I figured it had to be a good place. I asked the parking person at the entrance if there were parking spots for the disabled as we had a person who uses a wheelchair. We found the disabled parking to our left in the back and helped our disabled person get out of the car and transfer to his wheel chair. We found a ramp and once we were up at the restaurant level, THERE WAS NOT ONE TABLE WHICH COULD ACCOMMODATE HIM. All tables were barstool height. We went around and around and nothing. I was shocked. Isn't this a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act? We spoke to a waitress who was not really sympathetic making our disabled person feel humiliated. A man came by and said that he may be able to dust off a folding table somewhere in the back. A folding table? Really? At this point we all felt we had to leave. The management needs to be aware they they are violating the law when a person in a wheelchair cannot eat at a table that is a regular height. read more

Came out here for a stunt competition, we ordered food and the guys that work it are extremely rude with major attitude. We ordered breakfast burritos and ask the guy what comes in it and they said bacon or sausage. Like obviously but we were asking what comes in the actual burrito. potatoes? Beans? Cheese? Salsa? And I believe he was the manager too. Burritos are way over priced as well $22 for two burritos. Ridiculous. read more

Nasty bar maids and prison quality food. If that floats your boat, go there. They don't even serve your food, you have to go to the kitchen several times as your "food" is ready. So many other good places. Plus you can't get a beer until they abscond Your credit card. read more

Nothing to write home about. First, it has no AC so think about that first. Next, you sit at a table, but there is no waitress service. You order at a window, but if you want a drink, even a soda, you have to order at the bar. The food, nothing special. I ordered a Cobb salad for $13. No turkey, no egg, no bacon, no cheese that I could see, just basically a salad with ham and croutons. I could go on and on but you probably get the idea. With so many great places in the area, I don't know why anyone would go here. Also some words of advise. If you see a restaurant with half 1 star reviews and half 5 star reviews, you might want to believe the 1 star reviews. read more

I have been a local regular since they opened. I go daily to visit with a friend and Cave Creek ICON - George. This was my first visit since they opened from the virus thing and never more disappointed. I asked for my regular draft and noted that it took 4 pitchers of foam to get a glass of beer. Should have been my first clue and the beer was warm. I decided to give em another change and changed drafts - same result. I asked the server (not one of my know regulars) about the issue. I was told that since the shut down they cleaned out all the draft lines. Well that is good, but don't serve the drafts until they are ready to go. They should have advised me of the issue and recommended bottle until there draft system was up to speed. I know the owner and do not believe he would let this occur. My wife and I just came here for the first time and we had no idea that you had to go from outside all the way to the back on the inside to order your food. This was after asking the bartender if I could sit anywhere. It seems like she could've clued in that with this was our first time here. Anyway, I figured out that I needed to go look for a place to order my food. When I did finally find where to order from, the 20 something-year-old order taker was a snarky little millennial that obviously didn't care about her job. Then I went back to the outside bar to ask if I could get a dark beer. The waitress said no you have to go back inside and order from the other bar. OK, so I went back inside and order from the other bar. The bartender there discovered it was my first time and she said "oh it's your first time we get to pop your cherry". Ughh..... yeah I realize this was a biker bar after we sat down. I don't mind that at all but I'm not into sophomoric comments they just aren't funny anymore. That kind of talk is juvenile. Anyway, when our food was done we were called over the loudspeaker in a snarky tone: "#10 I don't know why you can't tell that you're buzzer is going off, but your food is done". After hearing her twice and looking at the buzzer she gave me (which hadn't gone off yet) I realized that maybe she was talking about my order. Even though she told me at the counter that my order was #26. So, I went and got the food and I graciously told the young millennial girl that my buzzer wasn't working because, you know, she might actually want to have it checked out. She just shrugged her shoulders and turned away like she didn't care. Bottom line the burgers were small the service was crappy and rude. We won't be going back read more
