Roadrunner Restaurant -- Definitely Worth the Trip! We've been supporting Roadrunner for a couple of months now, and I have to say--there is SO much to do here for everyone! They have bull riding, live music, line dancing, and more. The whole place is set up like an old Western ranch, complete with a gift shop, a HUGE dining area and bar, plus an outdoor patio bar with misters and swamp coolers. And there's bull riding, Waylon's, and plenty more to explore! Now for the most important part--the FOOD! Every plate that comes out of that kitchen is packed with deliciousness. I absolutely LOVE the quesadillas! Their burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. And wait...there's MORE--they serve breakfast, too! And yes, it's yummy! I truly can't say enough good things about the employees and owners. They are wonderful, welcoming, and make you feel right at home. The crowd can be a little different depending on the day, but that's part of what makes Roadrunner so much fun. There really is something for everyone. If you haven't checked out Roadrunner yet, GO! What a joke! My husband and I got tickets for Bull riding for last night. Got to the restaurant only to be told Bull riding wouldn't happen until after 8:30! This was at 5:30! They also claim to be "Family Friendly!" I wouldn't take a child in that place EVER. It was full of rough bikers and other sketchy people. The vibe was horrible! We ate a quick bite and got the heck out of there! We will never be back Oh, the tickets we had purchased never got used, so you can consider that our donation to a crummy place I will always drive past without a second thought!! If I could give -0, I would have!! They also need to post times for activities so everyone can arrive accordingly. It doesn't matter to us, cause we are one and done!! read more

Stopped in on way home from day trip. Walked in and immediately headed out back for outside bar. Wesley greeted our group with a smile and cold water. Ordered beers and they followed within a minute. This guy was fast! Ordered onion rings and cheese curds and listened to karaoke for a nice entertaining evening. Attentive service. Cold beer. Great company and Fun entertainment. To anyone wanting to try roadrunner, the customer service is probably the worst I've ever had in my life, and it all started with the lady taking "cash only" and the two bouncers at the front gate. We wanted to try this for date night, they charge you a 10$ cash only entry fee per person. I get it, but the way they demanded and talked with such disrespect to me and my husband as the first interaction of our night, put us both off. & I wish we would have turned around then! I then go to the atm and get cash. Come back pay to get in, & we say " let's not let that rude interaction" ruin our night. We order food, and two drinks, lemonade and Powerade. We don't drink so we were merely there for the good vibes and to spend time at a fun country bar for date night. We talk for a bit and decide to go. There is ONE way in and ONE way out. We're waiting to walk out and my husband slips through the crowd of people. He's carrying his lemonade. LEMONADE! the lady at the door is SCREAMING at him that he can't take his drink over and over at him. Literally screaming, maybe she should have got up off her chair to talk to him like a normal human being with respect. He can't hear and so the bouncer grabs his shirt and rips the drink out of his hand. Completely handled so POORLY. You can talk to people with respect and you can handle situations WITHOUT laying a hand on someone. Would never go here again. Horrible, horrible and horrible it was horrible before I can't imagine how it is now, the last time we went there for breakfast there was one other couple in there too, ordered the biggest baddest one I can't remember the name I think it was called the cowboy breakfast, took our order and ten minutes later came back with toast and laughed telling us she forgot to give the cooks the order and it will be another 10 minutes oh well I can wait. Was it worth the wait no, no and no meat was overcooked and not the highest quality, it just wasn't a good breakfast and the reason we will never eat or visit their establishment again especially after reading the recent reviews. read more

This place has a good balance of inside and outside. Outside you have live music and bull riding. And the ambience outside isn't too loud. You can talk with each other. And size is great. They got some smaller tables and it's not as loud. The service here is great. They're always making sure you got what you need. Bartenders are great they're fast making sure you get your drink without having to wait too long. So if you want a good country bar to go to up in the river. This is the place to go. read more

Came to this place for a motorcycle event and had a blast. The drinks were ice cold and a good price. We had shared a burger and it was delicious too. Super fun to sit outside with the tvs. The flies were a problem but they had fans trying to help it out. Spent like three hours there just hanging out, drinking, and enjoying the beautiful weather. Super cool spot to watch some live bull riding. You can buy tickets online or in person. You do need cash going in person or there's an atm but they charge u a fee. They do have a fire pit going. Came to visit a friend who lives in Phoenix back in January and was taken out to Roadrunner's on a Saturday night as a spur of the moment idea. WOW! What an amazing experience I had is the first thing I have to say about this place. It has been 6 months now since I visited and this night is something I still reminisce about. Every Saturday, Roadrunner's has REAL bull riding that you can attend for only $10 and to say it was completely worth it would be an understatement. The bull riding goes on for a couple hours with an intermission in between. During the intermission my friend and I filled up on more drinks, warmed up at the huge fire pit, and danced near the stage where they had a live band playing music. It was amazing to see how everyone was square dancing, two stepping, and just having a great time. It made the experience that much more enjoyable. As for the restaurant itself, unfortunately I never got to try the food but the Long Island that I ordered was good! I'm from Los Angeles so to say it can be a culture shock for some of us Angelenos would be true. However, I love the country, including music and vibes so this place made me feel like I got the whole experience. Not only that but I find this a perfect place to meet people! Fun atmosphere, but the security staff acted unfairly and showed discriminatory behavior. I brought my brother and his friends (visiting from out of town) to see the rodeo. One of them forgot his ID, so we were denied entry--understandable. But while we were turned away, children were let in... Later, my friend returned with his valid U.S. Passport, yet security said he could come in but still couldn't buy a drink because it wasn't a driver's license. That's simply incorrect--passports are valid, government-issued ID, and accepted under Arizona law. My friend is Black, and the way he was treated felt discriminatory. He was excited to experience the rodeo--his first time--but left feeling unwelcome. We paid full cover, missed half the show, and he couldn't even enjoy a drink with the rest of us. Came here for a bull riding event this weekend. What a fun crowd. Plenty of space for everyone and plenty of Bars too. They had bars set up right before you to the show. An outside full bar and one inside to access! Sweet plenty of ways to get hydrated. I like it. Plus, hosting such huge events it is a good way to elevate the long lines. The food Menu was a pretty basic bar. Burgers, chicken tenders and fries etc. We shared a burger and fries! Just a little snack it was good. The fries were crispy. Was out and about for the 4th weekend. We thought let's go to Roadrunner for burgers. Remembering the burgers were fantastic. That was then and then there is now. The bun was grilled and yummy. The fries are off the chart amazing. Then the frozen, 1/8" burger that was like me chewing on a piece of leather. So, if you want tastier Bunns and fries then great. Just don't expect a good burger. She's 27 and we gave her a drink, because legal age to drink ALCOHOL is 21. The loser bouncer came over and intimidated her and treated her with complete disrespect.
