I had to have a tow from an auto shop (I couldn't afford to repair my vehicle) and Luis (I believe that was his name) was my tow tech. My insurance said it'd be within 90 kinutes and I waited maybe 30 for him to arrive. My insurance covered $75 of the fee. He got my car home and I owed $32. I never write negative reviews. But this company finally has me writing my first one. If you need them for any type of roadside service. Expect them not to show up or answer any calls after being dispatched. When you are in a vulnerable situation.. it's likely you will be told they are coming and then leave you and your kids stranded in the middle of the night. Thinking how long do I wait until I call for someone else. This wasted a lot of time. If they couldn't do it I wish they would have let me know right off the bat so i could get someone else. Instead of waiting for them to no show and not pick up the call. And then I have to wait for another company. I live in an apartment complex and there was no parking in the entire lot except for the handicap spot. I'm 8 months pregnant and my boyfriend and I have one car that we rely on for work and appointments. We parked in this spot at 11 pm and went to move it at 6 am, by that time it was already gone. One of my a-hole neighbors called at 1 am to have my car towed. My boyfriend had to skip work to go and pick the car up because they didn't answer our calls until 7:30 and it says they're open 24 hours, what a load of s***. He then takes a Lyft across town to get our car and upon arriving they tell him CASH ONLY. Absolutely no one said this to me when I spoke to them on the phone. They're located in a shady part of town and he had to walk around to find an ATM to then pull out $400 and walk back in this area. Most stressful morning of my entire pregnancy. Thanks Roadrunners! Unfortunately I can't give 0 stars. Roadrunner Roadside Service (same phone number as Modesto location) was sent by my insurance co for a simple disabled vehicle tow around 11pm on a Sunday. No show within 90 min ETA. Called the and they said they had no call. Would check. Called back and was sent to voice mail. My insurance co said they cancelled the call after I spoke with them. This caused an unnecessary 2+ hour delay. Very poor business practice read more
