As with many craft stores, some things are excellent value and other things seem remarkably expensive. They have seemingly unlimited selection of COLOR ORGANIZED ribbon, flowers, adornments for mums and wreathes, supplies for making wreathes.... There's so much. I'm pretty sure my brain was glitching the entire time I was shopping. I ended up with an assortment of potential projects on top of what I already had to do. Anyway, I had so much fun here and I can't wait to go back!

Generally, I find this location to be well stocked and organized. I've found that I can usually find everything I need, but sometimes prices are higher than at other places. The convenience of getting everything I need in one place rather than go to three different stores, sometimes outweighs this dilemma. However, in order to get what I need and leave without extra potential projects I utilize the online order and pick up. This has worked out well for me. I appreciate the self service pick up. I guess that's just what happens when you support local owned / small businesses. Definitely won't get that at the big chain stores. They had a big selection of fabric designs, including universities like UTSA, A&M, UT, etc. Good prices here too. I did not see any knit or specialty fabrics, as well as no sewing machines for sale or foot attachments. I did see some needles though. This store is more quilting-oriented, which they offer affordable classes and product sets for beginners. I do, however, have a friend who has one, and that is how I ended up shopping at this little store. Really, if you don't know it's there, it is easy to miss. Their selection of vinyl is pretty good. They sell glitter and matte vinyl of varied colors. They also sell squares of vinyl for smaller projects, as well as other types of crafting materials. The pricing for the vinyl seemed ok. You can get individual square sheets from about $1- 4 and rolls from $3.50 - 6.50. Some of the vinyl was a bit on the pricey side, but not being a huge connoisseur of vinyl materials, I can't say if this was a huge difference from selections at bigger commercial places. I do know the other stores have higher prices for full rolls of vinyl, and if you're only doing a smaller project, like I was, this seemed a better deal. Know that this is a privately owned business, not a chain, so be aware that they do not do returns. It is posted all over the store. For an exchange, I was told I'd have to contact the owner via the receipt. So make sure that you purchase what you need and ask for pricing before buying. All in all, I would say, if you're making a smaller project, or one with many colors, this is better option to having to buy more expensive rolls in the other stores.

However, there is no paint or kiln cost it's all included with the price of the ceramic so it makes sense that it is on the higher side. But with the cost of paint included we watched the employee ADD WATER into the paint bottles there. Then when I went to use the black paint it was so watery that it bled onto my other designs. I mean it's ceramic paint, not water color. When I told the girl working she said her boss added too much water to the black paint. My mom asked for the name of her boss and the girl said Videria but not sure how to spell it but didn't want to give her name. When I asked what to do about my piece because I had just spent hours working on it to have black paint run on it, she asked what I wanted her to do about it. I mean I feel like if you work at a pottery shop you should know how to wipe off paint or fix something if it gets messed up. My brother was working on a larger piece and on his second coat of paint when she came over and told him less goes farther. And took his paint away to bring him back a little amount. I'm not sure that treating people this way and diluting paints is the best way to run a paint pottery shop. If a boss or owner wants to reach out with their contact info my mom has a photo of the girl. At the end we spent $140 for four small ceramics and had inattentive service, and saw how slimy a business this place really is.
