I was very happy with my experience with Roadrunner for a roundtrip between Simi Valley and LAX. My domestic flight was leaving at 7:30 am and the reservation system for the shared ride suggested a 5:45am estimated arrival time. I wanted to arrive at least 2 hours prior to get through TSA and to have a decent breakfast before the flight, so I overrode it and requested 5:15am arrival. My confirmation call informed me that my pickup time would be 3:45 am which seemed extremely early, but I accepted it because I could not afford to miss this flight. The driver was a friendly gentleman who arrived on time and got us (picked up a 3rd passenger) to LAX around 4:40 am (no traffic jams). On my return trip, I only waited about 5 minutes for the driver after I made the pickup request call. I was the only passenger and the driver was very friendly and nice. The vans used for both trips were clean and seemed fairly new. I picked Roadrunner over Uber/Lyft because I wasn't sure I can trust some random driver picking me up around 4 am. I picked Roadrunner over Prime Time Shuttle because Prime Time outsources their service to Uber/Lyft (see aforementioned concern). read more

I've been using this company for years and am always happy. Living in Thousand Oaks, they are an extremely convenient way to get to the airport and back, especially LAX. I always hate how dusty and dirty my car is whenever I park at the LAX long term parking lots. I'd much rather prefer getting some work done on my phone while letting the Roadrunner staff drive me back and forth. Their drivers are really nice. I always tip them well. The website is easy to work with, and I prefer using that over calling, but my wife prefers calling customer Service because she says they are always really nice over the phone. I've used their service personally to get to and from LAX and my family uses it every time they visit from out of town. Collectively, we have had nothing but good experiences with their service. They are prompt (usually 10 min early), reliable and provide excellent customer service. When you arrive at LAX you call the dispatcher to let them know you made it. The wait was longer than I would have liked but I think it was mostly due to the insane bottle neck at LAX I found the drivers to be very friendly but a little chatty..especially for 5 AM but hey, they love their job. Their prices are reasonable and it makes sense in terms of cost and hassle if you are going to be gone at least a week. The driver explained that they have a couple of preset "van lines" to LAX, one that travels north on the 118, through the 101 and another along the PCH. Therefore all the other people in your van will be along the same general route. read more

It took them an hour to come to us at the airport and when I spoke to the operator 3 times, each time I was told he is at the terminal before the one we are at!!! Do I even bother adding a bad review when the ratings are horrid? This service is a crap shoot. You never know if it'll work out and it's so expensive for that risk. They're never on time for me and often lost picking me up from the airport and I've finally had it tonight. The customer service is beyond the worse and Katrina at the office gave me so much attitude just now when I was calm and just pleading for more info on why my driver was so late and where he was... she kept changing the story and details blaming traffic. She gave me such a rude tone of voice and said Okayyyyy to me and hung up leaving me waiting and hoping my driver would show up. Terrible service. Stacy W. You are well advised (along with anybody else contemplating using Roadrunner at this point) to stay away from them. They are getting out of the LAX/BUR shuttle service as of the end of July (see my recent review below). I left a message with one of their CSR's to have customer service call me and explain exactly what they meant by the following in their email blast to customers: "Although our relationship with the Greater Los Angeles Airports has positively grown over the years, the recent adjustments being made at LAWA has presented an opportunity for us to accelerate as an organization, with a more singular approach". Thus, we have decided to focus on growing our Charter business, serving Ventura County and the community we consider family." Dominic, their Manager of Customer Service explained that they were not prepared to meet the requirement the city is putting on transportation services". In other words, upgrading their equipment, expanding the fleet, and making other adjustments mandated by Los Angeles were not in the cards for the new owners of Roadrunner. Apparently, whatever Roadrunner means by "an opportunity for us to accelerate as an organization" does not include servicing individual customers in Ventura County. Here is a textbook example of corporate doublespeak, for those experiencing it for the first time. I told Dominic that it was really incumbent on his company to clearly and explicitly outline their current and future situation to their client base. They certainly did not do this in their email nor did Dominic seem to care about how his company is handling this matter. In fact, I realized that about 10 minutes into the conversation, I was talking to myself (we had been cut off for some reason). I prefer to think that I had hit a bad cell zone in my travels, but it is possible that he hung up on me. read more

Today I had an unfortunate experience that has prompted me to no longer use Roadrunner for my airport transportation needs. I initially called and booked a reservation, and because I found another service that was cheaper, I called to cancel the reservation within an hour. When I called to cancel and advise customer service to cancel, I was advised that it would take 10 to 14 business days to credit my VISA. The charge had already gone through even though I was initially told the charge would not occur until the end of the day. This was very disappointing to learn and I asked to speak with her supervisor. Unfortunately, the message was the same with no flexibility in the cancellation process. I asked to escalate the complaint further and then my husband spoke with the next level of management. He was then told that we would see the credit within 7-10 business days, which is still unacceptable because the initial transaction was only an hour before. Let the buyer beware and proceed with caution with this service. read more

$70 (+12 tip), for one way from Ventura, CA to LAX last minute (same morning). The van was clean, cool, and comfortable, made 2 stops after getting me then on to the airport. I only wish it had an option of leaving slightly later as I was very early to my flight, but I understand with the pickups. Next time ill just Uber though bc its ~$110-120 and so for $20-30 more I get my own driver, leave on own time etc... read more

I booked a one-way airport transfer from LAX to Ventura. I booked a town car; premium service. This was to include a meet and greet. I arrived in the lobby of Terminal 4. Flight was early, but I figured the driver would be on top of that given that he had my flight information. I called the company to find out why he wasn't there. The dispatcher hung up on me the first time and it took seven minutes for him to figure out where the driver was waiting. The tardy driver was at Baggage Claim 1, my flights bags were at 2, and I still don't know why he wasn't where all the other drivers were located, especially since I advised the dispatcher that I was waiting by all the other drivers. When I FINALLY found the driver, he was carrying a handwritten sign on which my name may have been written in pen or pencil. Regardless, it was impossible to read from a distance. The driver greeted me disheveled and flustered. He did not have a luggage cart. In the end, because of the lack of cart, I had to person 2 of my own bags. If I wanted to do that, I would have booked a shares ride van. Oh, and they have my credit card information at this juncture, so it's not like they're not going to get paid. We FINALLY made our way to the car. During the limited conversation, I learn that the driver was late because HE WAS DROPPING OFF ANOTHER PASSENGER UPSTAIRS AND HE "HOPED" HE WOULD MAKE IT! Well, he didn't. The icing on this cupcake is that the car, a Cadillac of some sorts, reeks of icky fast food. Why? Because he left the wrappers on the front seat! There are trash cans all over LAX! It is so disgusting. The car was too warm on the drive to my house. No music and no air. I found my own air and I decided to use this unexpected quit time to follow-up and cool down. Finally, the driver is speeding up the 101, driving at speeds exceeding 80 mph. He's cutting in and out of traffic, making this the least relaxing ride ever. My advice to the reader is to hire another service. It's just not worth it. My time and money is worth too much to be subjected to this subpar level of service. read more

I'm not sure if you've ever had a feeling you were forgetting something for a business trip and realized T-Minus 15 hrs before your flight that you don't arrange for a way to get to LAX. That's what happened to me! We are a one car family because most of the time that's more than enough for us. My week long trip with the car parked somewhere near LAX wasn't going to work. Was Uber seriously going to pick me up around 2 am so I can get to LAX, I doubt it; besides I'm not a fan of non-professional drivers! I sent an email to Road Runner, they are based in Camarillo, and I wanted to support a business in my home county. I got a confirmation back assuring me they will pick me up at 2am! professional drive and all. Sure enough 2am on the dot, a van is in front of my drive way and we're gone. We picked up two people; really, I barely notice because I'm taking a quick nap. It was super easy to fall asleep because the drive was great, no-herkey jerky driving, just smooth quite riding. The driver didn't even have the radio on, which I wouldn't mind, after all its super early in the morning!! It seemed like I got to LAX in no time at all. Great experience. My only critique; when they confirmed the pick up that's all I got...one email. I guess that's all I needed but It would have been reassuring if I got another email saying "hey, I'm picking you up in 2 hrs be ready" or something like that...just so I know they didn't forget about me. I guess I have trust issues ! LOL I can only speak from the perspective of being driven to LAX and based on my great experience, I'm calling them back for my next trip...probably a little sooner and planning than this first time. read more

Only half a star here. Flight was late from 1:50 pm to 3:15 pm. Since the flight I missed came in without me, I was marked as a no show. Instead of understanding. Couldn't tell them BECAUSE I WAS IN THE AIR on a long 4.5 hour flight. When I landed they asked me to wait until 4:45 pm and they'd send the shuttle. I waited Then tell me it'll be another 25 minutes or even later. Nick said they were waiting for customers to "ring in." I told them up front I was trying to make a business dinner. No alternative but wait and we'll see. At this point it was close to 5 pm. I ended up taking Uber. Talked with Dominic, the the manager. He could've really cared less and refused to refund. Said he could issue a credit. Because I was a no show and didn't want to wait an indeterminate time. I don't believe that this company hasn't done this to countless others. Warning: do not use an airport shuttle service that doesn't on some level try to help you out when planes are late. (Meaning, all the time) instead of giving the customer the benefit of the prepaid doubt. Please don't put an older person or a kid on one of these. They'd be lost without better care. No coordinator at the airport. Only done on phone. Never again. read more

I requested to arrive at the airport at 9:30am and the driver wouldn't arrive until 9:00 and it takes about 1.5hrs to get to LAX in traffic. Don't trust this company they may make you miss your flight, not reliable at all. Here's my YELP review I shared with Mr. Perez, Customer Service Manager at RoadRunner prior to posting. I did receive a prompt call back from Mr. Perez apologizing for the 71 minute wait for pick-up at LAX and agreeing to refund 50% of the 80 dollar fare, and to give us a 40 dollar credit for future bookings. He said the company strives to collect customers within 25 minutes of calling and there was no excuse for what happened. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 for this reason. I have decided to post the review, simply to add to the bulk of similar stories on YELP and to allow customers information to make their own choice. My 15 year-old-son's flight arrived at 5:50 pm, and it took RoadRunner four hours to deliver him 60 miles to Oxnard (arriving 9:55 pm). My son was the third of four drop-offs (Moorpark and another in Oxnard). The fourth person was going to be dropped off in Ventura and she also had waited over an hour at LAX to be picked up. It turns out Uber would have cost him the same for a private transfer, but being a Mom, I thought RoadRunner would be safer and more convenient because my son was a designated customer with door-to-door service. What's most aggravating is the dispatcher was dishonest about how close the shuttle was while my son waited curbside, so when we called after 20 min, 30 min, then one hour of waiting (there is no place to sit on the middle island where you must wait), the dispatcher always said it would be another 10 to 15 minutes but gave us different stories each time. The first time he assured me the driver was in the upper airport terminal and would be there in ten minutes. Then when he had waited an hour, dispatcher confessed the driver had actually been on the 405 the whole time but now was really at the terminal. By then it was two hours since my son's plane had landed and when this was pointed out, there was no explanation for why they didn't have a single driver near LAX until 8 pm when they have a 5:50 scheduled arrival. The company website claims customers will be collected curbside within 15-25 minutes of arrival at LAX when you call with your luggage in hand. You have to pre-pay to make the booking so you are stuck there having paid being told just wait 10 more minutes. According to other YELP reviews, if you bail out and take an Uber (which my son wanted to do) RoadRunner refuses to refund you because you "didn't show". Also when my son was 2 miles away from being dropped off, the driver suddenly pulled over to a Burger King and left the van without explanation. My son texted me saying he was at a Burger King and didn't know where the driver went or when he would return. Apparently he went to use the bathroom. I know nature calls, but couldn't he have waited two miles for the next drop off which was at The Collection in Oxnard with plenty of bathrooms? It was just bizarre. While it was good that Mr. Perez contacted me after receiving my pending YELP review, to offer a partial refund, what would be more useful, since this type of event seems to happen frequently, is Roadrunner should let customers know that the driver is more than one hour away, offer the option of a refund, and help the customer make arrangements for an Uber or other alternative transport. I don't believe that the dispatcher doesn't know how far away the driver is or how long it will really take for him to arrive. read more

On time pick up from house to airport. The shuttle van arrived to the minute, awesome! Not so awesome is the hour wait to leave the airport to start the trip home. The other passengers and I were told that we had to wait for another passenger from another flight to arrive and join our group before we can head out. I understand the business need to gather passengers from as many flights, I get it. The good thing with RR is that the location stops are along the 101 and limited the stops in the valley. Our driver was able to navigate through the surface streets during rush hour (7pm) to get us from Burbank to Calabasas in 35 minutes..... That's pretty amazing! read more

The trip through hell! I used roadrunner shuttle service to and from LAX. First, I would like to applaud the drivers, and my review is not about them at all. The van used for both trips was in great disrepair. The seat belts were stuck and twisted and difficult to use (and not just by me). The enter and exit assist had been removed (a real hazard) and the holes patched. This was an old van, way past the age of retirement. The ride to LAX was uneventful, but the trip back was a nightmare. Here's what happened. There were four stops that had to be made. Instead of going in order, the driver took the furthest customer first. We twisted and turned through difficult roads and the trip which should have taken at most an hour and a half, lasted more than three. I would not use Roadrunner again. I am going to post this review on their site and ask for a refund. read more

Second time we picked up 3 other parties...we had to recircle the airport (lax) to pick people up AND wait on them to show up. Ridiculous! Our 1 hr trip home turned into easily 2+. Our shuttle driver, Juan Magania (not sure if the last name is spelled correctly but I believe that was his last name hopefully I'm somewhat correct) was absolutely great. Extremely polite, friendly, professional and an excellent driver! He not only was a safe, very good driver- but he got us home much faster than I expected. He was a pleasure to have as our transportation driver & after a long awful day of traveling & being exhausted, he ended our trip home on a very good note & I just wanted to let your company know how much I appreciated his services and what an asset he is to your company. I not only recommend your shuttle service but I highly recommend Juan specifically. I was very impressed with his services & wanted to express my experience since Juan specifically made sure we had the best possible one. Thanks again, Juan! This company is in severe and desperate need of better management, a course in customer service, and an understanding that a reservation is essentially a commitment to be at the airport at the agreed upon time, and if unable to notify the customer. I had a reservation to be picked up at 10pm from LAX. I was eventually picked up around 11:30pm. I called three separate times , was told they will be right there, an empty and obvious attempt at not accepting any accountability. I made the reservation Wednesday and this was Sunday. I stood with several other customers who were obviously just as confused about this unprofessional approach to the customer. You know a company is sorry when they offer s deal a refund some sort of tangible apology. Nothing!!! -5 for sure!!! Terrible! I would like to add a small comment here. I'm honestly impressed by the level of incompetence displayed by Roadrunner Shuttle. When I realized my flight would be delayed and I would miss my Santa Barbara Airbus by around 10 minutes (the last airbus left at 10pm), I called the SB Roadrunner to reserve two tickets for around 10:15, letting them know my situation. I was assured that the shuttle would be waiting for me outside my terminal at 10pm, and would wait for me until 10:15 when I got off the plane. Fast forward- we end up getting off the plane early and actually get to the pickup location at 10pm sharp. No Roadrunner. In fact, we watch as the Santa Barbara Airbus (our initial reservation) drives by us. We wait until 10:45 when we decide to call the Roadrunner and inquire as to when our bus is coming. We receive no honest answer besides the canned "it'll be on its way shortly." Finally, at 11pm (an hour late), the van arrives. It's an old, dusty van with almost all the seats removed. The driver can barely speak any English and doesn't seem to know who he's picking up at what time. It takes over 30 minutes to even exit LAX because he's so disoriented. There is barely enough space for all the passengers; my seatbelt doesn't even work, but there aren't any other seats available anyways. It makes for an incredibly long drive home. I'm embarrassed and angry that I ended up paying MORE for the SB Roadrunner than I would have for the Santa Barbara Airbus, when the SB Airbus 1) was on time and 2) had much nicer amenities. I was supposed to be home by midnight; I ended up getting home at 2:30am with no apology or explanation. I'll be shocked if I don't receive any money back from this ordeal. They are the worst! Created an account on-line, requested a quote and 24 hours later had not received (nor ever) received a reply. Calling them was worse! They have some drunken lady answering the phones. After I booked my trip with them Sunday morning for next day Monday morning pick up, I was charged and a confirmation emailed to me. Only to be called less than 12 hours prior to my pick up time to be notified that because my reservation was not made before 48 hours from the pick up time, they could not pick me up., really? A friend has used them three times when visiting me and on two occasions their service as been sub par to terrible. on his first trip, the shuttle was over an hour late in picking him up and getting him to our apartment. this was a major inconvenience for all parties involved. i get that it was less inconvenient since we didn't have to drive from DTLA to LAX to get someone, however when the shuttle vanishes off into Narnia and we have no idea if we should go to LAX or if said friend is going to actually get picked up by Roadrunner, it kind of sucks. THEN on my friends most recent trip, my husband and i decided to pick him up from the airport ourselves so that we wouldn't have to deal with a repeat performance of AWOL shuttles. we decided this -days- prior to the scheduled shuttle service. My friend cancelled his reservation through their website and was told he was good to go, the reservation was cancelled, etc. Roadrunner then charged him for shuttle service on said date. So essentially, Roadrunner charged my friend to have me and my husband meet him at LAX. It's good to know that they're now in the habit of making money off of other people doing their job for them. total bullshit. I'd maybe give them a little leniency if this was last minute or something, but the reservation was cancelled days in advance, they stated the reservation was cancelled, but now Roadrunner is saying "oh well we had technical difficulties that day so maybe that didn't really happen". It's not like they gave the option to get any sort of cancellation confirmation, just a pop up window saying that the reservation had been cancelled. So yeah, if you want to pay roadrunner when you're most likely going to have to do the work yourself, go for it. otherwise if you can try to navigate public transportation or cabs. read more

WORST. PIECE. OF. SHIT. SERVICE. EVER. Do yourself a favor and never use this company. I believe in keeping YELP reviews brief and only give negative feedback when I have had an experience like this. Problem 1: Arrived 30 minutes late. I specifically told them that I needed to be at LAX at 9:40, and needed them at my house at 9. They told me over and over again on the phone that would be no problem. At 9:30, I called them (they never called me to tell me they were running late) and asked what was going on. All I was told was they were on their way. No apology, nothing. Picked up at 9:40, dropped off at LAX at 10:15. Only made my flight because the lady at Southwest was nice enough to let me skip the line. Problem 2: The Van was SUB PAR. It smelled awful -- which was really embarrassing given that I ordered this service and had my sister and girlfriend with me. Very poor condition of car/van. Also, the back seat had a giant tear down the fabric. It was as if someone had taken a knife and split the fabric completely wide open. Problem 3: DRIVER DID NOT KNOW HOW TO GET TO LAX. I live in West Los Angeles, maybe 15 miles north of LAX. There are many ways to get to LAX from my place, but they all involve going SOUTH. He started to go EAST. When I asked him if he knew where he was going, he said he did not. I had to navigate him the entire way -- we're talking, "Turn here. Get on Freeway. Exit this ramp. Go left." Didn't even know how to get to LAX once we exited the freeway. Problem 4: I was snowed in on the east coast and missed my return flight. Stranded for 4 days. Called Roadrunner to tell them I wanted a refund for the second half of my trip (they charge you per leg of your trip) since I missed my flight and would be arriving in LA a few days later and would have family pick me up. They fought me tooth and nail. Told me that the weather was not their fault. I didn't give up, threattened to sue, and they refunded me -- but only after a giving me a sizable headache in the process. What a gem of a company! I guess this was a lot longer of a review than I had intended. Hopefully it helps you avoid this horrible company. They should all burn in hell. read more

I have very recently had a horrible experience with this company. I had scheduled a shuttle pick up at LAX at midnight on a Sunday night. I was told to call when I landed, and the shuttle would pick me up. I spent 45 minutes trying to get a hold of someone, and no one answered. They had left me stranded. I luckily found a Super Shuttle going to my area and was able to get home. However, when calling to get a refund, the very rude customer service agent claimed that I was marked as a 'no show' and that the driver waited 2 hours for me. I'm a little confused as to why a driver evidently waited for me that long yet never tried to call me when they had my cell phone number in the reservation. It is still unknown whether I will receive my refund. Even beyond this horrendous experience, I have never been a big fan of Roadrunner. My family has been using them for over 15 years primarily as an airport shuttle, and have found that the vans are very old and the drivers are unskilled and overall very unprofessional. This recent experience is the last straw we have decided to look elsewhere for our future airport travels. read more

It was pretty simple: choose the service, enter the flight info, make your payment. You'll get instructions to call a number once you land and have claimed your bags. So, the day of my trip arrives and I've landed. I pick up my bags and call the number. They ask for my last name, and once they've confirmed my arrival, I'm told the shuttle will arrive in 20 minutes in the area just across from the baggage claim. Sure enough, about 15 minutes later, a Roadrunner shuttle appears, and a man gets out looking for me. I hop on, and we were off. The shuttle was full at this point, and the driver, Doyle, told me he would drop off the other people first, who were all together (I believe there were 7 in all). The ride was smooth and there was some moderate traffic, but of course this may vary by the time of day. Once the first large group was dropped off, it was another 20 minutes riding out to my hotel. Again, smooth ride, no issues, no one got lost. I was really happy with this service and honestly, I was very worried when I booked, because I booked first, yelped later. Long story short, my shuttle was late so I missed my plane and was told by Dominic and then Raveena to call the head manager, Karen, who refuses to pick up her direct number. After speaking with several employees and being told I would be emailed or called back, I've finally given up on being compensated. This company has the absolute worst customer service team, and will recommend that anybody looking for a shuttle to stay far, far away from Roadrunner's exceptionally awful customer service. read more

These guys saved our dream holiday: This was my 4th towncar booking Venturea - LAX return. I entered the flight time and information on the online booking service, and requested a pick up time from them. They use flight tracker, and I received a very polite call from the office checking the time as my flight time and pick up time were 10 hours different. I would have ruined our holiday of a lifetime, had they not picked up my mistake. Thank you lovely lady who called to correct me. You saved my marriage! The other 3 times I have used Roadrunner, they have been prompt, polite, helpful and always clean new towncars. I fly long haul 5-6 times a year, and the last thing I want to do when arriving back in the US is find my car in the econo-lot and drive 1.5 hours in traffic home. These guys absolutely rock. I never use the meet 'n greet as really - who can't shuffle themselves to the curbside and place a call? I've never had to wait more than 10 mins. read more

The last thing I wanted to do after arriving late at LAX was to wait to be picked up by some stranger, but since I didn't want to make my mom drive out late at night to get me, I had to do just that. Turns out, it wasn't so bad, pretty good actually. Nice driver, good service, and $52 (plus tip) gets you from LAX to Ventura County - pretty cheap (I'd say). Definitely worth it and I will definitely use them again. read more

I am shocked at all the bad reviews with Roadrunner. I know most people don't review unless they have a bad experience so I thought I would post my good experience. I am a business traveler and I travel every other week and have used Roadrunner many many times. They have never once been late. In fact I have gotten used to being ready 15 minutes early because that is when they usually pick me up. What I like about Roadrunner is that I am usually the only person on the shuttle. Not going to complain about that. It feels like you have private service. I have used a couple of the other shuttle services and they always pack as many people as possible onto each bus. When your driver is late it's usually because the people they are picking up are late. Nothing worse than riding with a bunch of grumpy early morning travelers with smelly breath. I have used Roadrunner service probably at least 25 times with only one sort of bad experience. Only one time did I ever have to wait over 20 minutes at the airport for a pickup from Roadrunner, (40 minutes) but they refunded my money and gave me a discount the next time I used their service. No one is perfect, but the drivers are friendly safe drivers and I trust Roadrunner to get me to the airport. read more

I have been chomping at the bit to write this review. We used this company for our wedding transportation a couple weeks back and even though our experience with them sucked royally in the months leading up to the wedding, I was actually waiting until the day came and went to write this review, in hopes they'd redeem themselves enough to at least earn TWO stars... and yeah, not so much. You might be thinking, if they sucked so much right off the bat WHY would you still book them for your wedding, dumb ass? I know, I know. Unfortunately, I couldn't find many alternatives in the area unless we wanted to spend twice as much, so we decided to bite the bullet on this one, pray they actually showed up and hope everything would go as planned. So, my complaints in a (long winded) nutshell: First, when you are paying someone big bucks to shuttle your wedding guests, you would think they'd want to make you feel all warm and fuzzy about bringing your business to them. Yeah, not with Roadrunner! GOOD LUCK simply getting a response from these people. We would have to send our rep 4-5 emails and leave just as many voicemails, just to get a half-assed response from her (Jennifer Jackson) weeks later, and half the time it had the wrong information. After many months of this, cut to, a couple days before the wedding, we hadn't heard back from her with final confirmations, pick up times, etc. (shocker!) so we called and pleaded that someone (anyone!) could help clarify a few things for us. The woman who we spoke to made the requested changes, clarified a couple things for us and let us know that one of the vehicles Jennifer was supposed to book was not even in the system, so she added it for us and made sure it was still available. Now, for the record, all the vehicles we booked did show up and they showed up on time, which is the ONLY reason I feel good about giving them one star. However, they definitely went out with a bang... At the end of an amazing night, my 84yo grandmother fell and twisted her ankle getting off the bus bc the step was so big, the driver didn't pull close enough to the curb and no one was there to help her. Roadrunner is seriously lucky we aren't one of those "sue-happy" California families because I'm positive we could sue the pants off those bastards if we wanted to... That is, if they would call us back. We have since tried to at least alert them of my grandmother's fall to make sure they are aware and don't let it happen to anyone else in the future, but they still don't care enough to respond. Bottom line is, take your business elsewhere. If I could do it over, I'd save myself the head ache. Dig a little deeper and dedicate a little more time to finding a company that appreciates your business and will not add unnecessary stress to your life. Lesson learned. read more

Trying to get through their 1-800 number took 5 tries of it just ringing. Getting picked up from the airport and taken to my hotel went off without any issues and the driver was very courteous and professional. I cancelled my return trip b/c a co-worker had a rental car and I cancelled 48 hours before, which was within the 24 hour window of notification. I received an invoice when I returned that showed the charge and the credit. It's now been THREE WEEKS since I've returned and the credit is still not showing on my corporate card. I called their accounting department last week and they said it was a glitch and it would process in a few days....here we are a week later and it's still not showing, no one followed up with me and the answer with the person I just spoke with (Amy) is that she will contact her co-worker but that her hands are tied. DO NOT USE ROADRUNNER if you don't have to. Total nightmare. read more

I would give negative stars if it were possible....here's the deal: We had set up a shuttle for our wedding for an Excursion Limo over a month in advance. They are more than happy to accommodate you, promise whatever you want and take your money, but BEWARE because the DAY before our wedding we were called and told the limo was no longer available. We were put on hold for 15 minutes before we finally just hung up. About 45 minutes later he called back and again promised us we would have the Excursion the next day. The following day, TWO HOURS before the limo was set to arrive at our wedding to shuttle our guests to the venue, we received a phone call saying it had been in an "accident" the night before and we were being sent a van instead. At the time we were also promised a 15% discount off the total price for the inconvenience. After looking at my credit card, we have been charged the full cost of the Excursion limo (which is a significant price difference) and have seen zero refund of the difference or the % discount we were promised. Basically, they owe us over $400. The day after our wedding, 7 calls were placed to Roadrunner Shuttle service with no success. Finally on the 8th call a representative answered, I told the man I had a question about my bill and was immediately put on "hold" and sent directly to a voicemail where a message was left. No phone call was returned by a representative. Again on Tuesday March 18, 3 phone calls were placed and had the exact same problem of being forwarded to the voice mail after being put on hold for over 10 minutes with zero returned calls. There has been a complete disregard for our issue and a lack of customer service. We have been ignored and pushed aside by every representative we got lucky enough to actually answer a phone call. I hope nobody else has to deal with this on their wedding day when they are supposed to be having the time of their life!! Unfortunately our venue had this as a recommended vendor so I ignored the bad YELP reviews...BIG MISTAKE on my part! I suggested they also take Roadrunner off their list.
