Been going here since 2012. Have a 2003 Tacoma that needed work due to aging and wear & tear. Started going to the dealer in Smithtown and all I was doing was throwing $$$ away with charged diagnostic charges and overpriced labor and parts. I took my Father-In- Law's handicapped van to have a new muffler installed without an appointment. They had an open bay and took us right away. Ron Colantino (owner) was very friendly and accomodating. The muffler had be custom made which took 2hrs.They were straight forward and price the whole installation very fairly. Had to go back the next day as a plate was loose under the front of the van and made a strange sound in reverse. 'Mighty' repaired on the spot and at NO CHARGE ! As a family, we've been going to Mighty Automotive for over 10 years. We're up to 5 cars now with the kids driving. I have never had a negative experience... and Ron has gone out of his way a number of times to offer options and, what I believe, very fair prices. I've been bringing my and my friends cars to Ron for nearly ten years now. He always gives me a fair price for the work his shop does. I've brought him the entire spectrum of work - from patching tires, to a custom exhaust system, to pulling the transmission in my car to install a manufacturer specified fix to the input shaft. He is always willing to discuss the possible options to get the car back on the road safely and at the least expense.
