If you're an all-natural, fresh juice lover, their menu is basically a wonderland. They squeeze everything fresh, give you great portions for a fair price, and even break down the health perks for you. The Green/Verde juice is my go-to, but I genuinely can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And don't get me started on their fresh-cut fruit cups loaded with Tajin and chamoy - addictive! On my latest run, I walked out with a large Green/Verde juice, a large Vampiro, a gorgeous gelatina de mosaico cup, and a prickly pear (tuna) to go. Absolute perfection for a hot summer day! I only come here for the Coconut PALATA. It is the BEST PALATA I can find locally. I lived in San Felipe and got hooked on good palates but many grocer's here have old ones because they aren't a big seller. THESE ARE FRESH! I'm betting that all the flavors HERE are probably great. I love this place! Where I am from they sell corn and shaved ice with the carts and the cut up fruit on the corners. Since I moved to Reno this place has been my spot. It's really a home away from home. They serve ice cream, fresh fruit, corn, shaved ice, smoothies, popsicles, tamales, and more. They speak Spanish and English. Their seating area is a good size. I seriously love this place. Whenever I am craving a light lunch this spot immediately comes to mind. A giant box of fresh fruit, sliced and diced and covered in delicious toppings always hits the spot. I get the chimoy and tajin on the side since I don't like full strength on the tajin. I like a light sprinkle across each bite. My go to is the crazy pineapple of the krazy watermelon but I can't wait to try more of their offerings. I had their esquite last visit and learned I should have asked for half of the mayo. Double whammy! The cold days make crave for tamales and atole and I found both at Krazy Fruits and Snacks. To be honest, I went looking for a tropical fruit salad but I changed my mind as soon as I saw the "Atole & Tamales" hand-written sign on the door. The shop is very cheery. Exotic and colorful fruit and treats are on display in the refigerators. I know where I will be getting my elotes and esquites to enjoy on a lazy afternoon just like I used to do growing up (I will miss my sis, though) and atole and tamales to warm up and fuel up on the winter mornings. I ordered atole to go and a few tamales to enjoy later at home. Jessy was very friendly, receptive, engaging. She also made sure that my atole was at the right temperature. She wrapped the tamales and labeled so I could identify each flavor later. I walkded out as a happy kid. This is a place that I will be definetely visiting often. read more

My friend and I tried to go to the place across the street, which said they were open til 10 and were closed at 6pm.....So we found Krazy Fruits and Snacks. There was a little bit of a line when we got there, but the digital menu and pictures kept us well entertained during our wait ensuring we knew exactly what we wanted by the time we came to order. I got the horchata, cheetos esquite cup and mango cup. My friend got the diablito raspados , cheetos esquite cup and some other candies and snacks they had on the counters. Everything was amazing. Mmmmmm! I need to come visit Krazy Fruits again soon. This crazy Reno weather has me craving the fresh fruits that taste like spring/summer! For less than $10 you can get a prepared HUGE fruit bowl with so many different fruits and veggies (pineapple, coconut, cucumber, jicama, mango, watermelon, coconut water). I like to get it with Tajin and no chamoy. I also get their ceviche and make it lunch for around $12 total. Make sure you have time when you swing by, it takes a while to prepare because it is fresh, but well worth the wait. read more

My daughter is into health and fitness. She was wondering if there was anywhere in town that serves fresh vegetable or fruit juice. I informed her that yes indeedy there certainly was. I had seen this whimsical shop next to our dog groomers. I had been wanting to try it. So off we went. This is a small shop in an strip mall in older Sparks. The petite shop is clean and bright. We walked in and were instantly greeted cheerfully and warmly by Miranda. I was shocked and pleasantly surprised at the options available. Holy Cow there was an array of selections to try. She was very patient with us and allowed us time to take all of our options in. She informed us she was the owner and she wanted people to have healthy, fresh and fun assortment of items. There were such a multitude of options it took awhile to place our order. We found the fresh juice menu and made a choice. My daughter chose a fresh green drink. I selected a papaya and strawberry juice. Miranda asked if we wanted our drink sweetened. No thanks. She then went to making our drinks. She chopped up fresh papaya, strawberries and juiced them. She then set to work on my daughters drink cucumbers, kale, spinach, celery, ginger, apple, pineapple, aloe, cactus and parsley. Creating and chopping takes time. Keep in mind the variety of the ingredients that went into our drinks. My drink could probably have used a little sweetener of some kind. I am excited to try other drinks here. After a soup-seeking expedition left me craving beets, Krazy Fruits and Snacks really hit the spot! They have lots of fresh pressed juices, fresh fruit treats, blended juices, TONS of paletas, ice cream and candy novelties too! The large menu board seems awkwardly hung, making a tad bit diffucult to place your order with the smiling young lady who made my awesome Vampiro, but that's just fine, because the juice was worth it! Blood red, full of earthy, musty beety goodness, and only a few dollars! Oh, and they have a juice punch card...bonus! Kiddos got paletas and funny chomping alligator candy suckers, also only a few bucks. Had the worse experience in this place yesterday 2/12/19 I went there with both my parents. We made our order but the lady that was taking our order was really rude ! :( she kept saying bad words out loud and was opening caps with her mouth. I also saw her licking her finger once she was done making my dad's esquite. We were there waiting for our food for a while .... she was on her phone texting too. We've been there other days and had never been treated this way! But now we will never be back we felt really disgusted by this person. I wish I knew her name but this is the first time we've seen her there ! She's light skin , short, brown hair, and she was wearing a blue shirt/sweatshirt. This place caters to everyone looking for a healthy snack or light meal. It is most traditionally a tropical dessert and juice spot you'd find in Mexico. I say that because you have arroz Popsicles, tostiloco (tostido chips and lime and chile), cactus smoothies and the clientele/staff is bilingual as well. You can juice up fruits, vegetables, and mix and match at your leisure. There are also different types of chocolate bananas, fruit cups, and chips/candies. I got a chocolate banana and mango smoothie. Both excellent and not overly sweet; the woman who made my smoothie asked how I liked it, and gave me options to dull down or ramp up the sweetness. It is also located right next to a Carneceria (meat shop), which is convenient for food shop hopping. Location is in a strip mall/shopping complex. Came and tried this place with my girlfriend and we absolutely love it. My girlfriend got a green juice (which is what it's actually called on the menu) with a Mexican style corn on the cob and I got a three berry smoothie. And we only ordered a small order and they took more then 30 min and it was not packed no customers waiting we were the only ones and still more than 30 mins waiting!! My husband got the Krazy cucumbers and they were disappointing. When we went it was not well staffed and it was busy. So the lady that was there was being sloppy and impatient and a bit rude with clients; she had a short boy type haircut. If I go back I probably wouldn't go if she's there or not well staffed.
