Such a wonderful experience! The customer service was great. The latte was divine and the food was delicious I will for sure be back. They had plenty of outdoor seating. I absolutely loved every detail down to it being in the bathroom.

Cute urban coffee shop, open & enough sitting inside and outside. Parking a bit smaller but they do have street parking. We got 4 Cafe con Horchata w/oatmeal. It was a delicious creamy and flavorful. Juan seems to be by himself but was very efficient w/taking orders and making them. This will be our spot when we are in town.

This Latin coffee shop in the heart of downtown Reno is a hidden gem and having its own parking lot is a huge plus! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting perfect for relaxing with a good drink. I tried three drinks: the Strawberry Horchata, which was creamy and refreshing; the Banana Bread Latte (hot with oat milk) which truly tasted like warm banana bread in a cup; and the Pumpkin Horchata Latte (cold with oat milk) smooth with a light pumpkin flavor. For dessert the chocolate cake slice was rich and satisfying and The Maria's bread which was banana bread topped with Cajeta was absolutely delicious. There was a bit of a wait for my order but it was totally worth it once everything arrived. Customer service was excellent. Overall creative drinks, tasty desserts, and easy parking make this spot a must-visit in Reno!

It had been awhile since my last visit so I took a friend who was visiting from out of town. We were greeted warmly by our barista. The Cubano and cafe con leche were perfect, and the Tico Toast was perfect as always. Why had I waited so long??

Just tried out this locally owned coffee shop down the street from work for the first time! Wow! First we were greated with a warm welcome and smiles. You could feel the eagerness to serve us from the second we walked in the door to having our order taken and coffees handed to us. Absolutely love this. They make some great Lattes. I ordered the Pablo which has pistachio and matcha in it. I was blown away with the combo. It had the perfect balance of pistachio and matcha with coffee. I have yet to find a place that can pull this off. I've always been a fan of matcha but most didn't offer it with a coffee base and when I added a shot of espresso to it, it just never did it justice. But this drink is exactly what I've been looking for. I felt like this recipe was made just for me lol. I love that it is locally owned. Such a cute little spot too. I love all of the wall murals they have inside and it had a cozy vibe that you can sit and enjoy your coffee. There were even people doing work on their computers while enjoying their coffee. If you're looking for the next best coffee shop in town you need to check them out.

The service was great and the coffee was even better. It's a cozy cafe - great for a chat or to work. We look forward to stopping by again when we're in town. The cafe con leche was our favorite.

I can't get enough of this place! Go check it out if you haven't already. If you have, go again! The coffee, the vibes and the service... all amazing.

The ambiance of this coffee shop is very homey. I felt at peace, the lighting was perfect. I had the strawberry horchata and jalapeño grilled cheese sandwich. I would rate the drink a 10/10, the jalapeño sandwich was good as well but next time I would ask for less jalapeños.

This coffee shop is so quaint, inviting, and relaxing. The baristas are friendly. They have drinks you can't find at most coffee shops since they are Latin-inspired; there is even a drink with rose water! Along with coffee, they have pastries, accessories, and delicious looking cake.

I went to Cafe con Papi the other day for coffee and to try one of their advertised Cuban Sandwiches. I had a small regular coffee. It was rich and strong just the way I like it. The Cuban Sandwich although very tasty (and it did taste like a Cuban Sandwich), it was more of a Cuban Pannini when compared to the size of a real Cuban Sandwich. You'll know what I mean if you ever had a Cuban Sandwich before. Anyway, the place has a private parking area. It is cozy for reading, working on your laptop, studying or socializing with friends. They are locally owned so they will always have my support. My only constructive criticism; they need to improve their service time as it is a little too slow right now.

When you search for Cuban food Cafe Con Papi does not show up so I didn't know it existed until I drove by yesterday. I had to stop and try it today. Inside small quaint cafe with great murals on the inside and out. A few casual seats around the cafe and bar. Great sweets and pastries to go with your coffee and a Cuban sandwich on the menu. We had the Cafe con Leche and the Cafe con Platona. Both were exceptional. If you like banana flavor the Platona is great. We also got a pastry which was very nice and fresh. I had to try the Cubano Sandwich and though I've had better, in South Florida, it was very good. Wish I knew where they got their bread from - love making sandwiches at home out of Cuban Bread. Highly recommend stopping by for a bit of flavor, something different. You won't be disappointed.

Came here because of the coffee plantano. . The outside looks run down. The inside is nice and dark with woods and plants. Love the esthetic. Love the comfy leather chairs and green velvet couches. With big green monstera plants. . Coffee plantano - coffee mixed with plantain which can be mistakenly like bannana flavor. It was a latte with oat milk instead of the regular milk. The additional charge is 1 dollar for oat milk. The sweetness I have them make it half sweet. It was perfect hot drink and smooth for the chilly weather in Feb 2024. . Quiche - spinach with cheese - this was ok and nothing special. Tasted good though, not too heavy in cheese. . Overall it's a good coffee shop. I love the drink and vibe. Will be back. It's a 15 minute walk from silver legacy which is convenient. I will be back. Hope this review helps. Thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day.

Supporting local coffee roasters and coffee shops is imperative, and you will always find something delicious and distinctive! As a suggestion from one of my colleagues, we went to Cafe Con Papi for a quick caffeine boost. She suggested I try the Cafe de Olla (which I got hot but she mentioned that cold is amazing too), and it was DELICIOUS! Great spices, well balanced, and it helped warm me up during the cold afternoon. Note that the Cafe de Olla is a labor of love and is brewed in a single batch, so the earlier you get it, the better! As another note, I came back a few days after and got the Cafe con Agave (iced) and I could recommend it enough, it's the best coffee I've had! Nestled nearby the old Bavarian world, this coffee shop is cute with great theming and wonderful seating areas. A big plus! I noted the pastries for sale, at a decent price too. All-in-all a wonderful experience and I can't wait to try some more drinks!

We came with a party of 6 on a Thursday for brunch and was seated right away. It seems like it definitely gets busy, especially the weekends! The portions were HUGE. Everyone was stuffed! My toddler especially loved the warmed blueberry bran muffin -- toddler approved. The muffins seem to go fast, since people seem to stop by just to their pastries. We ordered some with our meal, and later my in-law decided they wanted one to-go, but they were already sold out. I got the quiche and it was really delicious. It was a little heavier on the cheese for my personal taste, but still really good and I enjoyed it. I also had leftovers! We also tried the blueberry pancake, which was fluffy and full of blueberries! I was pleasantly surprised because many places skimp on blueberries, but this was loaded! It was perfect! Others in my party also got omelettes and they enjoyed it as well. Overall, cute atmosphere, friendly staff, generous portions, and good food. Would definitely stop by again when we're in Placerville!
