Cool place with beautiful art and home goods. Attentive and provided great design ideas for a piece of art we're considering.

Used their EV fast charging and had a very scary experience with the owner. We were charging while eating across the way at royal provisions, charging finished about 20 mins before we left so we tried to find another space to park but since there wasn't one ended up back in the same spot since there were other charging spots available (both fast and level 2). When leaving the owner blocked us in with his SUV and then proceeded to get out and yell at us for parking there when not charging. When we tried to explain the situation he did not seem to care saying other people needed to charge (even though we pointed out there were two open spots). read more

This place reminded me of everything I love about galleries in San Francisco and Sausalito and Mill Valley, Calif., and added the charm of a Saugatuck setting. Beautiful artwork. Creative, interesting, provocative. Just being in the space made me happy. While it's a gallery that critics appreciate, the collections have appeal to anyone with taste. The tea is friendly and lovely. Planning to return when our home that's being built is finished. read more

DO NOT, REPEAT DO NOT miss this gallery if you are in the Saugatuck/Douglas area. First the space itself: a former mechanic's garage turned contemporary gallery space--in a word: cool. Second: the range of artists on display. Usually I'll gravitate to just 1 or 2 pieces when I visit a gallery. Here I end up liking (and wanting) numerous pieces from multiple artists. Third: the vibe is energizing . . .from the salon-style of displaying the art, to the ambient music, to the warm greeting from the resident, name-sake Border Collies. The owners Doug and John are approachable and know their artists as well as old friends . . .not to mention having an obvious knack for curating 2D and 3D pieces that feel perfectly suited for the lakeside/cottage lifestyle. I highly HIGHLY recommend a visit. I stop in every time I'm in the area. read more
