I waited a few months to write this review in order to report electric savings and overall performance so far. Happy to say compared to a 3 year average for May and June I am seeing a $25 per month savings, and during these hot days the unit operates beatifully and it's quieter than the old unit. I chose Bryson Heating and Air because their quote not only gave info on heat pump but also on the air handler, and included a heavy duty drip pan with overflow protection and a programmable thermostat. They are also NATE certified. In addition it was the lowest quote. The installation went smoothly even though the air handler was located in a very tight spot in the very small attic. They cleaned up thoroughly when finished. I found this company to be professional to deal with and with the installation. I am a happy customer.

If the woman on the phone treated me like that, who's to say her service men wouldn't? Let me break down what happened. Due to this constant rain we've had in the past six months or more, our septic system got flooded with water, and a root, or branch is stuck in the pipe, so water has been pouring out of my daughters bathroom for a week. We've had to shut off the water to the house, and have someone come and pump our septic tank AGAIN, to get the water out. They couldn't see what was in the line, as they didn't have the equipment to do so, and gave me the number of a good Plumber who could..... Well, that plumber has cancelled on me three days in a row, knowing we have no water.... Long story short, I started calling other places. This was he first one listed, but I had a walk in at the office, so asked my mom to call for me and see if she could set it up. She did, and they said it would be an emergency fee after 4:30, because that's when their business hours end... ok, whatever. I'll pay it. So they said someone would be out after 4:30. Ok, got it. My mom told them EVERYTHING and what they would need so they would be prepared. They then called me to say they were coming early, and could I come home. I said no, but I could get someone to be there if it was really necessary. She said "well, uhhh YEAH, how else are we supposed to get in the house to check your plumbing..." I said "Ma'am, it's the outside line to my septic tank, the lid is already off. We just need the plumber to come with his camera and see what's blocking it." She then responds with "umm nobody told me this, and the crew I'm sending out doesn't have cameras. Plus, if they did come out with a camera, which we CAN do, it's gonna be a charge of $200 to bring the camera out to the property". I asked why, and she stated that it was a special piece of equipment, and it's not carried on normal trucks. Cool, I get it, but when my mom called, she told you WE NEEDED A CAMERA... She said "No, she didn't, and our guys need to come asses the situation first, which is your emergency fee, THEN, if needed, we can bring someone out with one." I said no, we already had someone out, and they said we needed a camera.... She then huffs loudly and says "Then what do you want me to do, cancel the service call?" I said "yes please. I'll find someone else." I won't ever use this company for the sheer fact of the rude receptionist who called me, and the astronomical fees they charge just to come out...

That's a lie, it's fraudulent, and your home warranty covers the entire cost. It's just a sneaky attempt by them to pocket some money by people who don't know any better. This was my first time using this repair service (through a home warranty claim), and I was very…read morepleased that they had an initial inspection scheduled within a few days of making the claim. Before leaving, the technician was great about explaining what was OK and what would need replaced, which I appreciated. Due to it being a home warranty claim, there was a delay in the repair time-frame as they needed to write a report to the warranty company before they could start work. However, by the next week I had a scheduled appointment which was sooner than I expected with having to go through home warranty red-tape. The technician that came out was very polite, and did a very professional job removing the old equipment and installing the new. He also left the area clean after he was done. Another big plus was the courteousness of the office administrator that was interfacing me via phone to set the appointments. I probably took up way too much of her time asking questions on how the home warranty process worked, but she was more than happy to help answer any questions I had. Overall great experience with this company's service, and I will definitely keep them in mind for any future repairs.

I called numerous appliance repair companies within an hour from us and was unable to connect with anyone available to assist. I then called Carter's Heating & Cooling, who put in our HVAC when we built 10 years ago here at the lake. It turns out they also ran the propane line to the house. Greg Carter was very responsive, and Jamie came out first thing the next morning. After doing an initial check of things, he disassembled the cooktop and found the leak at the regulator. Interestingly, we had a local appliance repair out here in 2019 when we smelled propane at the cooktop. While I don't know if they ever corrected the issue or not, Carters did! I have always been impressed with Carter's and highly recommend them if you want things done right.
