Ben is right, it is a "real" motorcycle shop. A little background first. I have been riding for 40+…read moreyears. Unfortunately, I have no Mechanical ability whatsoever. None. Zero. Zilch. if I use a wrench something gets snapped off. If I have to put in a bolt something gets cross threaded. So, when I go to a motorcycle repair shop I am at the mercy of the writer. They look at my hands and nails and see meticulous fingernails and extremely clean hands because I am involved in the medical field and wash my hand about 150 times a day. I first moved to Sarasota in 1998. I bought two Harleys from a dealer in Sarasota and Manatee County. I dealt with them for approximately five years. Adequate work, but I thought I was getting taken to the cleaners every time. Then I went to an independent who was very inexpensive, but his work was sloppy. He put a six speed transmission in my Road King. It works great, except for the fact that the heel toe shifter never returned to the neutral position, making shifting a chore. About 30,000 miles ago I went to Precision Cycle. The owner, Ron and the writer/mechanic Rob were two of the nicest guys I've ever met. they have excellent mechanics. Ron calles you a couple of days after works been done just to check and make sure that everything is still to your satisfaction. I trust them and Precision Cycle implicitly, and would have absolutely no problem recommending them to anyone.

The positive: I stopped in here to get some fuel work done on my metric bike. These guys were…read moreextremely helpful. Did a great job getting the bike to me in a timely manner, especially considering they lost one of their own/my mechanic while the bike was tore down. 1) Prices were fair. The mechanic that finished my bike was extremely helpful and did a great job of keeping me in the loop. 2) They do have parts, accessories and apparel. 3) Great selection of handle bars. The negative: the bike broke down 1 month after getting it back. Same issue that I got fixed at the RF. We take a look...failed fuel pump. No issue, as this type of failure can happen from time to time. However, the real issue was that the fuel pump was the incorrect pump for the bike. My riding partner had a similiar experience on her metric bike, as well. Bottomline: if you're a metric bike, go somewhere else.

This is a one stop shop for repairs or help in any way on any bike. They got ya covered. The people here give you the vibe that you've known each other forever. Just friends bonding through the love of motorcycles. I feel a great amount of comfort trusting this company. There's a reason they have been here so long and I highly recommend them for all your motorcycle needs! Thank you again! And thank you Shelby!
