I love coming to this place when I'm in town visiting family. The food is great, the service is great, and they always have great specials that I usually end up trying. This is a great breakfast joint with amazing flavors, fluffy eggs and ridiculous portions. I went with my wife for Saturday breakfast and had a great meal. We had the chocolate pancakes to start which where delicious and BIG. We moved into some amazing French toast with Nutella and freshly made omelette. We totally over order as the portions are sharing portions. This spot would get 5 stars only if the environment was nicer and felt welcoming. It's not bad as breakfast cafeteria goes but a nice look would be so much better. read more

I have made this a staple lunch spot every time I am in Miami...which is quite often nowadays. I have tried quite a few things in the menu and Roasters has never disappointed me. My first trip here was by far my favorite. I ordered the BLT and was I surprised when it came out and was so big it was hard to take a bite out of. The bacon was perfectly cooked an the thick slices of tomato were at the peak of ripeness. My only complaint about this restaurant is that two of the times I have visited I did not receive the fries I had ordered with my sandwich. The server was more than happy to correct the error though so it was a very small issue. read more

Best diner my wife and I have been to in Miami. This is our go to spot every time we're in town for breakfast. This place has history, great food, and great service. Haven't really explored the menu since I love eggs and always get eggs and potatoes. Pancakes are delicious and soft. We get the short stake and share it. We were headed to another restaurant and saw this one and pulled in. Glad we did. Very nice cool place. I had a salmon wrap which was amazing. My husband had a pastrami sandwich and it was packed with meat. Service was very nice. Small mix up with the checks but I assume it was the owner or some kind of manager and told us everything would be sorted out by the end of the night with the banks. Small inconvenience but nothing worth a bad review, I thought it was very nice a manger came to us and explained everything to us. Would deff go back. It wasn't pricey, but it wasn't cheap. I got the 2-2-2 that is a breakfast special; eggs, French toast or pancakes, bacon or sausage. It was cooked well, but the coffee... not so much. Bagels aren't the best but do the job. Most legit bagel spot in Miami Beach (there aren't a ton) but if you're from NY and looking for a real diner, this is your spot. Roasters N Toasters is an authentic NY style Jewish deli. The lox and (house made) bagel platter, potato latkes, matzo ball soup, and corned beef sandwich were all right on point. Free pickles too! Pilar was especially helpful, as she made a change so I could get the smaller lox platter and my wife could get a half sandwich. Prices and portions (even when getting the smaller versions) were great too. Being from Boston it was nice to find a place like this near our hotel. We'll be back, next time. read more

Just flat out disgusting. My wife and I debated ordering food from there based off of oat experiences from delivery and eating there. The food just sucks the quality is garbage at its best. We ordered a Reuben it was lathered in thousand island dressing, to make matters worse whoever the idiot who made the sandwich used pastrami instead if corned beef. The pastrami was like shoe leather, the French toast was ice cold and burnt. I just don't know how this dump stays in business, especially when they've already had a issue with rodents. Stopped in to try their French toast and was not disappointed. It is super thick Challah bread variety but yummy. It's a nice size place in the middle of busy Arthur Godfrey Road. You're lucky if you find a parking spot on the street. But the tasty offerings more than make up for it. read more

What can I say about this place that isn't great!!! I grew up with this place as Arnie and Richies and was suprised to see the new name but some familiar faces was nice. The wait was not long on a Sunday afternoon at around 1230 and the place was packed!!! But they kept it moving very smoothly. Great attention by the staff and quick service also. The waitress was very attentive and came by numerous times to see if we were ok. I had a hard salami on kaiser wiht munster cheese with some steak fries that was awesome!! Mom had the lochs on rye and nephew had an 8oz cheese burger. All were very satisfied. To me it will always be Arnie and Richies but if you are lookinf for a full on deli experience check it out. I need a place like this in homestead. They are Zagat rated also. read more

Don't waste your time or money. Used to be our go-to weekend brunch/lunch spot. Recent change in management has been horrible. Food has gone downhill, newbie service (with the exception of 1 or 2 holdovers) also bad. SUPER NOM!!! First of all they have bottled diet Arizona brand peach tea. They had me there, at that point they really could have done no wrong. Portions are HUGE, after our second visit in 3 days we decided that next time, we share. Seriously, the omlettes have to have 5 or 6 eggs in them. And the sandwiches are those piles of deli meat where the bread is almost superflous. Yes, I said it The bread is superflous. Also bagels! I love bagels, and they were so good. You can tell how much I love this place by how disjointed and rambling my review is. Very cool place to get a morning bite. Healthy tasty food. Good atmosphere, sortof reminds me of loverly New York. More of an American joint, not a type of cafe con leche y una tostada place. Lol. I always get a toasted bagel with scrambled eggs+ham+cheese and it def hits the spot..... Very generous sandwiches. You will get a lot of whatever deli meat you ordered, and it will not disappoint. If you order something other than a sandwich (soup, entree), you will be disappointed. Flavors are off - too sweet here, not enough salt there... Wait staff behavior is odd. You'll have to be politely assertive, because if you wait for them to acknowledge you when you walk in (ie typical restaurant behavior), you may wait all day. I was so surprised on our recent trip to Miami to see that a new name was above one of my favorite old Jewish delis (Arnie & Richie's) but, after stepping inside and having a fabulous lunch....I'll be back! The new owners have REALLY updated the place and I'll agree that it is much cleaner. I always thought the food was incredible before the name change but it was rather old school, as far as the setting, and very cluttered. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and not just out to jack up the tally of the bill. Our waitress suggested that we were ordering too much at first and she was right. We had a wonderful meal~ melt in your mouth fresh bagels with nova lox etc. MMMMM! My only wish is that they were open a bit later for some post-beach dinner!! ;-) read more

Reuben was great, there thousand island is home made and makes all the difference. The brisket and roast beef are fresh made also. They have cheap breakfast before 9am. Sunday morning there is usually a long line but worth the wait. I want a brisket sandwich right now!!!! read more

It took them 45 minutes to make 2 chef salads....not very well managed. It's a shame there is not many options on 41st street.
