Rob and his office manager wife are the best. I thought I had bed bugs. Was sure of it, actually. We do thrift, a lot. We like supporting what they represent and who they help. And although my wife washes the clothes she gets, and dries them on the hottest setting, I never have. So, after one trip to the GP, and one trip to the dermatologist, plus my wife saying "we don't have bed bugs, you can't find any evidence." So, just call Rob the Bug Guy because you're driving me crazy" (2023). On that note, I'd been taking a picture of every bug that lives inside our house - according to research, there are around 100 bugs that live in every house. Of course, I'd blow up the photos, make them large enough to see, and show her every time. I had one that I thought was a bed bug, and she thought wasn't, and again, she said: "Call Rob The Bug Guy" (2023). So, being the "I'm sure I'm right over the advice of a GP, a Dermatologist, and my wife, a Doc herself, I kept looking. i tore apart the bedroom three times. Washed everything in hot, then dried it on the highest setting. Nothing in the drier lint catch, either. Still convinced, because of the "bite marks" on my body, and never having had a staph infection or poison ivy, I was at my wits end. And my wife said: "Call Rob The Bug Guy" (2023). I may be stubborn. I may be an idiot, but I'm not a stubborn idiot. I called Rob the Bug guy. First thing they asked for was to text a picture of the bug I thought was a bed bug and my wife didn't because it had the wrong "thorax" (2023). Well, maybe it didn't have a perfectly matching thorax, but it COULD HAVE been a bed bug, I told myself. They came back with: "Happy to say, it doesn't appear to be a bed bug [with a happy face icon]" (2023) I was over the moon. Until later that night, when I woke up and was sure I had a new series of three bites. I mean, the text did say , "Doesn't APPEAR to be" (2023). That day after work, I called and left Rob a longer message explaining the situation in full. He called me back within about an hour and talked to me for the better part of a half an hour. Now, I'm not a guy who's scared of much. I used to step in the boxing ring and get my face kicked in for a living. However, in this case, I was terrified of these little blood suckers. And Rob calmly walked me through all the steps I'd taken. We talked back and forth. He gave me plenty of time. And I asked several times if he still had time due to the length of the conversation. Patient and kind, he allowed me to still be freaking out. And finally I said: "I'd be more than willing to pay you to come out here and inspect in case I'm wrong in my search techniques" (2023). And this is huge, Rob said: "You've been very, very thorough, up to and including washing all the clothing, and looking at clothing seams, taking pictures and and for evidence of exoskeletons and feces, and I'm not thinking I'll find anything since you didn't" (Rob, 2023). And dear Reader, ask yourselves how many business people in America today would say what he said. I'd wager not many. I often feel like they're sticking their hands in my pocket whenever they can - particularly at the gas pump. Rob talked me off the ledge and I hung up mostly sure there weren't any bed bugs. And then I got a text back from Rob. It told me about investing in bed bug interceptors. I did. Last night, to this morning, no evidence. And I slept better than I have in 10 days when this whole thing began. Rob and his office manager wife are great. You're not going to find more honest, honorable business people out there. One final note, I also found out in the conversation with Rob that they have to update their licenses every three years. So, the moral of the story is, don't freak out, listen to your wife, or husband when the say: "Call Rob the Bug Guy." immediately. He's the guy. Period. read more

Rob was very professional (even with a full bee-keeper like suit for his protection) and quick to get the job done. He explains thoroughly everything he will be doing and answers any questions or concerns you may have. We had a wasp infestation that had occurred 2 years in a row. This time it was hidden under our bay window siding and impermeable to my husband's efforts. I was concerned about any toxins being used as I am highly sensitive and Rob assured me about the methods he uses and our exposure would be minimal if any. He was done in less than 20 minutes and the wasps have not been heard of since. He even went a step above to ensure our kids safety afterwards...warning us to avoid barefeet in the area he killed wasps for any stingers that might be on our lawn. He is very good with follow thru and paying attentiin to care and detail. I would give Rob the Bug Guy 3 thumbs up if I could!
