Key issues (not exhaustive):…read more Skylights (0 of 3 done correctly): Two skylights were replaced with oversized windows, requiring re-installation about a month later once incorrect skylights were identified by homeowner. The third skylight, estimated and billed for replacement, was not replaced at all, identified in third-party inspection. Roofing Issues (some): Inspections revealed a torn shingle, nail pops, improper gutter installation in one area (still allows for standing water despite follow-up "repair"), flashing gaps around a reinstalled skylight, lack of caulking on the chimney, etc. Chimney Work: The chimney repair was poorly constructed and not as described. Billing: The bathroom vents and skylight mounts were not included in the estimate but were billed for-- should have been anticipated. The insurance invoice contained incorrect figures and lacked itemization. Leak: Only months after installation, moisture was discovered in the attic. Bob Baulerle (owner) and crew dismissed it as only condensation. Monitoring and expert opinions revealed a leak, potentially from the area of a ridge vent (installed by Bauerle Roofing) within inches from a skylight. Repairs to be monitored. Communication: Bob is increasingly disrespectful and unprofessional. He shifts blame, reacts defensively, and is the victim. He makes the process painful, and his assessments and work cannot be trusted. We've incurred costs corroborating issues & spent HOURS of time for improper work to be redone. Caulk fixes won't last the roof's lifespan, and excessive traffic redoing work will not have been good for the shingles. The roof/work will have to be regularly monitored. A new roof is an expensive purchase! I had hoped for peace of mind and a job well done. Hiring Bauerle Roofing has been a fraught, miserable, & costly experience thus far.

He was easy to get a hold of him and his two guys did amazing. They were professional, friendly, and courteous. It took a couple of days to get this tree down, but it was pretty big. We told him not to worry about grinding the stump that we could do it later on when it wasn't so hot out, but he insisted on using someone else to grind the stuff I will write about JDs tree service when they get the job done. JD'S came 6:45 three of them 2 left the older man ground on that stump for 6 hours in 90 degree weather I took the umbrella out for some shade. Day 2- Two of them came today they worked a little bit got the machine stuck wanted to know if we had a riding lawnmower to pull the machine out of the hole. They used a rope went through our fence to pull it out. Bent some of the fence I told him to stop. He said don't worry about it he could fix it. They went over the top but under the pole and bent it. Finally, they went all the way to the bottom and it came out. You can still where they bent it. It started to rain. They laughed and came back so I total of three hours today they thought they were done. They didn't come the next day to finish. We talked to Andy he told JD he called us and wanted to know what the problem was. We said that there was trees sticking up out of the ground. It needed to be ground more so they said they'd be here bright early 6 o'clock on the 4th day. He called back and said I have a Doctors appointment it would be later. 3:00 he came with 2 other guys finally an hour and a half later they were done. On the day of the appointment, they were a no call no show. I text Isaiah with the screenshot of his text of our appointment which he missed. He called, gave me an excuse on how he called everyone else but me to reschedule. I rescheduled, because life happens. Second appointment, he calls me to say they were in an accident and needs to reschedule again. Again, life happens and I understand. The last time I reschedule I was told they would be finishing up a job in Fishers around 12. I suggest they be at my house at 1:30 to give the crew plenty of time for lunch and the commute to my house. He agreed that would be plenty of time. It is now 2:00, not a slab jacker in sight! As someone who looking to spend money and become a customer I don't feel as though I've been prioritized properly or valued by this company because of the size of THIS job. Not knowing how many other projects I may have for them in the future. Not to worry, they just won't get them.
