Very low prices for furniture - I've got a little kitty who loves to dig his claws into everything and so I often replace and find great things here. My beloved Solsta couch from Ikea was getting on in age and so I needed to replace it. The cushions were stained and the blue fabric faded. I don't know what Piggy and Paco did on there either. Nobody knows. So many puddles and spilled drinks on that thing. Mystery stains. One from this frozen blueberry I had on top of my oatmeal one morning. That thing must have rolled off somehow and then got stuck there for months. Later I would find that green fuzzy thing and stains that no carpet cleaner could get out. I tried even. Result was the surrounding fabric got lighter and lighter and more faded - and the dark blueberry stain got worse. Truth is you can get a couch here for $500 and on a good day its half off as the like to move inventory. You can scrub and clean your old stained couch but truth is its never coming out. And the history of those stains - there is nothing that can clean it from your memory - even if you successfully remove them. read more

Love going in to find gems. Usually staff are kind and helpful except during my visit today. I've been on the search for a bedside lamp. I have gone in several times within the past couple weeks looking for that something special. Tonight I found such a piece but after checking it closely I observed a couple imperfections. I asked the manager (short Asian woman) if she would consider a markdown. She said she would take 10%. She took the lamp behind the cashier's counter, faced away from me and everyone, and stayed there working on marking it down. It took her so long that I told her I was going to get in line. She didn't respond. As I waited my turn in line I watched her back as she worked on the lamp. I couldn't figure why it was taking longer than 10 minutes to complete the task. Then she just walked away from behind the counter, leaving the lamp where she worked on it, and never said a word to me. When I reached the cashier I told him the lamp I was purchasing was on the counter behind him. When he brought it to the counter I observed the manager had indeed marked it down, and wrote "AS IS." I was disturbed by this but after having the kind cashier (gentlemen) plug it in to assure it worked I took my purchase and left. After leaving the store I realized what had been taking the manager so long - she was purposely scratching my lamp!!! See pics. I am floored. Keep in mind I examined this lamp thoroughly before giving her the lamp. I don't know why she did that. If she didn't want to mark it down just saying so would have sufficed. Certainly can't recommend at this time!! Purposely damaging store and customer property is inexcusable and unprofessional. I can't think of any training that could benefit such a cold-hearted individual. She should not be working in retail or with customers. read more

Front desk sales are always nice but management lacks customer service and professionalism

The current manager is rude, sassy, and arrogant. She speaks to people like they are her children in a demeaning way. She can keep her hood out of home goods. Customer service is really awful here. Vacaville customer service is terrible, Jasmine showed no sense of willingness to assist or accommodate me after finding an item that was completely damaged and dirty. I shop here frequently, wasn't offered the membership, wasn't greeted, wasn't thanked. My overall experience was just terrible. Ooooh this is my favorite store for decor!! The employees were very nice and were ready to assist when we needed help. The store is well lit and organized that you can definitely get lost with the mass amount of selections that have for you. The colors, designs, textures, they have everything! I adore HomeGoods! It's my go to for quick gifts, fun last minute items, and various things I may need at home. I pretty much stop at HomeGoods store even when I'm traveling. The HomeGoods stores for the most part are all laid out the same, and this location isn't an exception. What is an exception, is that this location seems to be lacking something. Everything was a mess, and I was there right when the store opened. The store should have been tidy, and ready for customers. Nope. Customer service is lacking. I'm accustomed to seeing at least a few people on the floor. Nope. I browsed through the store, and was actually frustrated trying to paw through holiday decor versus regular day to day linens. A few end caps had some cute stuff, but it should have all been grouped together. I rarely comment or use store public restrooms... I made an exception. The dirty bathroom reminded why I don't. I'm perplexed as to why it was so disgusting. Again, the store just opened. I love you guys... but clean up the store! I rarely walk out without anything. I did this time. Bad customer service. Josh was so rude to me. I've worked in customer service my whole life and I felt like I was treated like a dog. I asked for a price check and he grabbed the item from me and while I was talking to him walked away. Very rude. No one should treat another person like the way he treated me. Apparently Home Goods return policy is different than what they claim it to be. My husband did a return today for all the items that did not work for us. The cashier who did the return thought she'd make a joke about him returning what we bought and said "all of a sudden you want to return your Rae Dunn collection". Last I check, returns are good within 30 days and I've only had those items for a week. If you don't like your job or dont want to work then quit! That return did not come out of your pocket so I don't understand why it was such a big problem for her! I then spoke to their "supervisor" Rose and she did nothing but interrupt me and made it seem as if she cared when she gave my husband a snobby attitude when he spoke with her. Very unprofessional! No wonder why this was my first time in the store. Today, was my first time in Home Goods! I am a 75yo woman. I was very happy when I walked in to find the wares I usually get at such stores as Hobby Lobby, Ross, Big Lots, and I was pleased to see high end brands that I'm accustomed to. I live in two States - Tx (primary residence) & California (second home). I wasn't shopping for anything in particular, until I spotted a round marble top table with metal base. Just then a young man in his company apron appeared nearby, so I kindly asked for assistance in purchasing it. He approached, and looking back on this, with some hesitation, appearing to be burdened (he never made eye contact), as I pointed my desire to the table. He said, "I'll get a flatbed." He loaded it & after I gave him my name, he told me, to just let the cashier know....", as he hurried off. I proceeded to remit payment at cashier #1, a very pleasant and helpful young woman. She advised me to bring my car to the front of the store, where she will get someone to load it. As my husband pulled up, a young lady was retrieving store carts from the parking lot and while approaching me, at the door entrance, I politely asked if I could get help with loading my table onto my sedan. She, walked past me without a "yay" or "nay!" Just as I was about to inform the cashier (at #1), I saw the young man heading to the register, in the corner, where he placed my table earlier. I said kindly, "oh thank you", and followed him out to my car, where my husband was waiting. My husband opened the car trunk, and both men realized the table would not fit. (I am a seamstress and have keen eye for measurements - size vs. space/fit! I suggested loading the 30" round marble top table (weighing appx 80#s) horizontally in the back seat. The young man ROLLED his eyes, then appeared begrudgingly surrendering to my directions. As he left my vehicle, asked him his name (no name tag). He replied, "MATHEW." I thanked him for his "assistance" and told him that I will contact the store management to submit my comments about him. I contacted the store at 706.469.8195, asking to speak with the store manager. I was transferred to another person, and I asked for name and position. The person said, "This is Michael, the manager." I asked to be transferred to his supervisor, and told him exactly my reason. The call was transferred to Rose, the store manager "on duty." I described the entire incident above. Rose was very receptive and understanding. She assured me that she will handle the matter right away and apologized for this man's rudeness and lack of respect and appreciation to me - a customer, who chose to visit his place of EMPLOYMENT! It was an unpleasant experience that I did not expect, when I was most cordial, polite and PATIENT! And I was having a lovely time browsing! I would give 5 stars to the store for the great selection of wares for every room in one's abode. This is like a sorely put together Ross, Marshalls, Walmart, etc. I've heard so much about this store and was looking forward to going because of the area. But basically, it looks like a lot of chintzy stuff was vomited all over the place in rought categores. The aisles are too close together and I know that I'm not the type of person who can go into a place like this and find something. My sisters can, but I'm not them. And I'm not ever coming back. My family and I all have our favorite areas in this place to browse and shop, like We always have to walk through snack aisle because we always find olive oils, jams, fun candies and chips ! My daughter loves their toy section and all the great decorations for her bedroom. Customer service is always great even when they are super busy! We always get Greeted when we come in and the ladies we have encountered at check out have always been so sweet. HomeGoods always has great decorations for each season and all the Holiday as well. Right now there selection for Fall and Halloween is up and already picked up some cute Fall and Halloween cupcake liners and sprinkles! I Love coming in here during the Winter and Christmas season! I enjoy coming to homegoods! I love going inside and the first thing you see is the furniture! I love how beautifully everything is displayed inside. They have so much items inside it makes me want to renovate my house! The variety of outdoor items, kitchen, bedroom, office space, bathroom, living room, dining room to fake plants. They have everything! They also sell kids toys which I think makes great birthday and Christmas gifts. Great pricing to! You can find deals all over the place. The last time I was here I bought some items for my office space and I bought a lot of fragrance. Sprays, Candles, Scent Sticks... they have it all! They have seasonal items as well. I was here the other day looking for office items and I've seen a lot of Easter Display! Love it. I can't wait to come back inside and shop here. We all love home goods because of the variety of products they offer. I was disappointed with then because of their lack of customer service. I think this is unique to this particular location, unfortunately. When I made a purchase, the cashier accidentally charged me twice for a set of lotion that cost about $8. I noticed this mistake on my receipt after I already got gone that day. Being a full time working mom, I didn't have the luxury of time to go back to the store "right away" to ask for my money back. Honestly making the trip for $8 isn't worth it. However I shop there often so a few days later when I stopped by to make more purchases, I brought my receipt and the package of lotions to ask for a refund. The cashier was upset with me and she asked her manager for help. The manager was even worse than the cashier. The manager said she didn't want to deal with the hassle of checking the security tapes to see if I was lying so the just told the cashier to refund my $8. She said next time I need to bring the receipt back sooner. How insulting! Why would a customer lie about $8 worth of lotion? Next time tell your cashier to pay attention and if a mistake happens, don't be rude about it. Customer service means to be kind to the customer even if the make a mistake. These people seem to think customer service means be a jerk to the customer even if you make the mistake yourself. read more

I'm sooo thrilled that it finally opened last week since the Pandemic. I called this place as my 2nd Home. To my surprised there was a long line outside to enter but it was quick & smooth process. Most of the customer's especially the Staff were wearing Mask . There were a lot of variety selections w/ great prices. I was able to buy a small stool that helped me to do my pedicure. It was only for $7. I must come Back tomorrow to take my time since the last time husband was waiting for me outside. Managers treat their employees terrible here. Watched an employee get sprayed by a cleaner by the customer as the customer ranted and raved about being asked if she wanted a credit card. The manager Ray laughed at the employee and reprimanded employee for asking as she had previously been asked to do. Another star would be good. I love to cook and entertain and love to use white china and they always have something new that I just have to add to my overgrown collection. Added to that there are always tablecloths and napkins for every season and no reason to buy, but do anyway. I have found All-Clad cookware at amazing prices, Le Creuset, Lodge, Breville and Riedel wine glasses, all which are very happy in their new home, my home. I went to home goods today , at 1:30 pm, everyone was so pleasant and helpful, except for a man that was called to do a price check for an item I had picked up. He was behind the counter and ignored me and the young lady that called for him to check the price. He was less than 10 feet away from us. When he finally came over he did not acknowledge me just grabbed the item, found the price and walked away. I called after him and said thank you, he kept walking away. This review is not for the store employees, they were great. This review is for the supervisor on duty last night. I believe her name was Rose, or something similar to that. We tried to purchase an item that was broken in two different places, but my son had to have it. We asked for a discount, but the cashier was unable to do it himself, so he called for the supervisor on duty to approve it. That was understandable. The cashier next to him was even apologetic for Rose taking so long. She called for her again. Finally, Rose came to the registers with an attitude. She said what do you need? I tried to radio you. As if she was too busy to do her job as a supervisor. She came over to us, with the look like we woke her up out of a dead sleep. What's wrong with it? We explained to her the piece of the nut cracker that was broken. She said 10% off. Really? For a broken item that she inspected, as if it were a brand new car off the lot that she purchased and wanted to make sure there were no scratches. Like I said, if my son didn't want the item so bad, we would have walked out. We said we'd take it. So she went to the pricing machine, made up a price tag and brought it back to the register. She set it down on the counter and walked away. She did not say a single word to us again. She didn't even say a word to the cashier, until he asked is that it? She said what else do you need? He asked if that was all that needed to be done. She said well, did you ring it up? She was an absolute b****. She needs to be sent to management 101. She lacks respect and management skills. I feel sorry for your employees who have to deal with her. I can't believe she still has a job. I'm sure you have probably even lost potential great employees because of her. Do your customers, employees, and your company a big favor by giving her a farewell party and final paycheck. read more

Four stars because they deliver on what they promise. Or at least advertise. Lots. And lots of stuff. As in a lot. I am always dragged kicking and screaming to these stores but somehow manage to entertain myself. Not my cup of tea but people LOVE this shop, so who am I to complain. The staff are nice and you have to feel bad for them around the holiday time. The assortment of home goods is as varied as it is repetitive: lots of items that fell off the train or truck and need to sell at a low cost. Some of the items, such as towels and linens, seem to be nice and marked at competitive prices. You can get fun coffee or snack foods for good prices. Their furniture might be overpriced but I'm not an expert. All in all, it's nice to see your loved one having the time of her life, so I'll be back. Thanks. read more

Visited the other night since I was in need of sprucing up my bathroom. I checked out their bathroom mats but wasn't to intrigued with the selections, however their selection in bath towels were fantastic! Named brand prices nearly half priced of retail! I always love looking through their kitchen items. I got myself a French Coffee Press for the price of $5 (They tend run really expensive). When I tried to check out the line was nearly none with the acceptation of a woman at cashier #3. She was talking her but off about someone's dog and pillow designs while the young cashier looked at her with a blank face. I waited for about ten minutes. I was nearly ready to leave but I needed the press for that price. read more

Oh my gosh these stores are so bad. I could just remodel my house, RV and patio every time I go in this place. I love all the great home decor, linens, housewares and even stuff for my doggies. Let me start off by saying I got stuck this time in their artificial plant aisle. The fake succulents are so cute and I could resist. Believe me this store is like a back alley for a junkie. I walk in and it's all over!! I can't leave without something. I really have to reign it in or I'd be in serious trouble. The pet aisle is just as bad. I'd buy them a new bed every time because they have the cutest beds there and the leashes, bowls, food storage containers and toys. Oh my gosh you name they've got it!!
