One of our buddies wants to have a Shabbat evening at the event, and while he's Jewish, he's not ALL THAT Jewish, so he's into joking around. Shabbat made me think of Labatt's Beer... we could have a Labatt Shabbat. He loved the idea so the hunt was on. This is a hard beer to find. After checking in to every place in town, we wandered into the Beer Cave. They didn't have it either, but a member of the staff (and so far the staff has been awesome) said The Guy could order it, if we came in the morning to talk to The Guy. I cannot, that just doesn't fit my schedule, and so we were bereft of Labbat. NOW... the Labatt website is incredible and it show what stores have the product and how much. It said Sage Mart had two units. We hopped in the Beer-Mobile and headed to the Mart. There it was on the shelf, in its beautiful blue packaging. I promptly bought both. I can only assume that The Staff talked to The Guy and he bought a couple six packs. Just today, I checked the Labatt website again, and it said there was more at the Sage Mart. I just bought their last six pack. I needed one for myself, before the Labatt Shabbat. Labatt Blue is DELICIOUS. It reminded me of drinking Moosehead as a lad, except it didn't have that moose-fart flavor. It is excellent. Anyway, that's my story. Good mini-mart.

So bought enough to get to Mohave and filled up there. And men's room has thee urinals, one blocked off with a stack of milkcrates. No paper towels, changing the review from 4 to 3 stars. Now the Shell station in Mohave has an even worse men's room, as does the Shell station down 395 about 8 miles, so I'm lucky that men can pee standing up. But Subway is Subway, Jersey Mike's in Lone Pine is much better if you want a real Italian sandwich like they make on the East Coast.

I've been going here for about a year to get my prescriptions filled since another pharmacy in town…read morealmost could never fill one of mine at one point. I've never had a problem with getting my prescriptions right (outside of the hospital's shenanigans). They helped me correct the problem this morning and even went out of their way to try to run it with an alternate insurance plan. The cashiers are usually very helpful and understanding and if I needed any photos printed, I would go to them in a heartbeat as I had some film prints printed by them ages ago. They also have one of the best health and beauty sections in town and the only place that carries blush in my shade.
