Robbie called me the same evening and we talked for awhile about my goals, dates, and what he offers with pricing. He was super personable and made sure everything was clear. I ended up booking him for photography of my wedding which included engagement session. During the engagement session, he was so funny and made both husband and I feel comfortable. This created genuine candid photos of us laughing and being playful. With new photographers, it's always scary and may feel awkward but Robbie made everything so effortless. I don't remember the turn around for receiving the photos but it wasn't anything crazy and reasonable for how busy his scheduling is. For the actual wedding, again, Robbie was on time, interactive, and made the guests and wedding party comfortable. He brought an assistant with him to get every possible photo we could dream of and let me tell you, the photos are all AMAZING. All Robbie kindly asked for was a plate of food during reception. How could you not provide that to him & his assistant when capturing the most special moments and there for 10+ hours that day. Due to getting married during July (the busiest time of year for weddings) I believe the turnaround for photos was a few months. The anticipation killed me but so worth the wait! Robbie and his team throughout the process of everything was great on communication, transparency, and really making sure you receive photos you absolutely love. Booking Robbie was the single biggest mistake we made in our wedding planning. We hired Robbie in January 2024 for a fall 2025 wedding. At first, he was professional and responsive -- offering tips, ideas, and fast replies. But after we paid the deposit, our experience drastically changed. Robbie offered a complimentary engagement shoot with our package, which also included a planning meeting. On the day of our scheduled meeting, he was a no-show. When I texted him, he replied, "I knew I was forgetting a meeting! I'm at a friend's birthday lol," and called us from the event. He seemed distracted and rushed through the call. He then suggested rescheduling the shoot due to weather concerns. Since we were flying in from California, this meant rearranging our travel, rental car, hair, and makeup -- at our own expense. After making those changes, he later admitted he had double-booked, and we needed to revert to the original date. After the shoot, it took several follow-ups to receive the photos. He gave vague excuses and claimed he "thought" he had emailed them (he hadn't) -- the same excuse he previously laughed about using on another bride. He also shared details about being behind on edits and personal life issues, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. When we finally received the photos -- four months later -- they were not up to the standard we expected. We chose to redo the shoot with another photographer, which caused delays in our stationery and added unexpected costs. Ultimately, we decided not to move forward with Robbie for our wedding and notified him over six months in advance, which we believed met the terms in the contract. He disagreed and demanded the full remaining balance. After a series of tense messages, I let him know I would be consulting legal counsel, at which point he ended communication and stated, "contract is terminated." After posting this honest review, I received a message from Robbie threatening legal action if I did not take it down. Rather than take responsibility, he attempted to intimidate me into silence. I've reviewed the contract carefully and confirmed via legal consultation that I met my obligations -- including canceling with ample notice and never disputing the non-refundable deposit. I have every right to share my personal experience, and I stand by what I've written. Vendors who respond to valid criticism with threats instead of integrity reveal exactly why the criticism exists. This review is long overdue. I have had it on my mind for months, but can't seem to find words to explain myself properly. So I'll give it my best shot. Robbie is incredible. He's got talent just oozing out of him (almost literally). He is so passionate about photography - it is impossible not to see. He is a ball of energy, and one of those rare type of people that can bundle it all up and use it productively. The result is stunning, almost every single time! He can't help himself; he has the eye for beauty and can capture a moment, along with all of its emotion, in one single (ridiculously amazing) shot. Robbie has taken my family's photos twice now, and has captured a few friends and extended family as well. He knows the perfect place and the perfect time of day. He'll travel for that perfect shoot (yes, even with our horrible traffic in this area!) I should also mention that he is hilarious and that does not hurt - we all had a sincere smile on our faces during the entirety of both shoots! He really cares about his clients and knows how important the photos he takes are to them. He loves what he does, there is no doubt about it, but he also takes his work seriously. Like I said, I am having a hard time explaining just exactly right. Robbie has more talent in his pinky finger than I will ever have. And so, each time I have received the gallery from a shoot with him, and am more convinced that he has actual magical powers. Robbie is a wonderful and talented photographer. He is passionate about his work, and it is obvious in the attention he pays to every detail about his shoots. I've had the opportunity to hire him for both my engagement photos and wedding photos. He went above and beyond each time! I asked him to meet us up in Snoqualmie for our engagement photos to have them in the snow. Shooting in the snow is not easy, especially when the sun comes up, but he took beautiful photos even after 4 hours in the freezing snow, suggesting doing a bit more back in Seattle. For the wedding, he also came the night before to do photos of the rehearsal dinner, which was really nice. He spent all day during the wedding and reception and I can't wait to see the photos. I know they will be amazing. Robbie has an amazing personality that makes people comfortable and relaxed while having their photo taken. I had many people come up to me complimenting his attitude and personality. He was vibrant, happy, upbeat and made people enjoy getting their photos taken. Robbie did our engagement photos and we had so much fun! He was all about making sure we didn't do any picture poses we didn't want to do and that we had fun the whole session. He was super flexible with us on scheduling and rescheduling (due to weather). During the shoot he was very informative about what would and wouldn't work, and why. As I'm sure his photos are fantastic I never actually got to hire Robbie. I was completely turned off by the unprofessionalism. He continuously texted me at ridiculous hours (10:30pm-midnight). I was looking just to see if a photographer would go with my idea, or at least be lenient and offer advice. What he had replied with made me feel like I was being scolded for not knowing the "photography world". I asked if there was a way I could have him cover just ceremony and reception and it being a lower price as I already wanted my aunt to do the getting ready photos and wedding party pictures (I'd like her to enjoy the actual ceremony and reception). I felt like hiring a photographer for 3-4 hours shouldn't be as expensive as the normal 8-10 hours. And unfortunately I can't post a screenshot on here... so here is his response "I'm just gonna shoot ya straight as far as photography goes as well as tell you the honest to god truth. You will not find anyone who is even a bad "wedding photographer" who would photograph even a 3 hour wedding for $1,000 or under. Especially on a peak day in the middle of the summer this far out. The reasons are this. 1. They have so many more chances and will book the date for asking price. 2. Experience. Any professional knows the overhead, insurance costs and editing times it takes for such a day, as well as countless correspondence with you or another couple. 3. This is one of the biggest days of your life. Your photographer is just as important as your venue. 4. You will not find a photographer anywhere who will allow another photographer to capture part of the day they just do the other part. It's a conflict of creativity and does not benifit either party whatsoever over. That's just shooting an incomplete set. Literally the minimum for something like this should be $2,000 " I didn't know what to respond with so I just said thank you. read more

Robbie Negrin, where do I even start with this review... first of all hands down best photographer you could ever hire! Robbie is so much fun to work with, he is amazing with people and more like having a friend taking your pictures all day, Robbie photographed my wedding on August 20th, from the moment he arrived for getting ready pictures it was like a friend had shown up to keep you smiling and keep you from stressing out. I remember at one point my makeup lady was taking too long hours past her time and I started to stress and being the easy to talk to person Robbie looked at me and reminded me it's my day and it will start when I'm ready, for some reason this just calmed me down and I stopped stressing! Throughout our entire day he was so great with all my friends and family I had so many compliments from them all during the day, about how much everyone loved him and he interacted more like a friend than a photographer. He also took charge of helping me run my timeline throughout the day I didn't have to worry about when and where to be, I just relied on Robbie to come let me know when and where to be all day! And our day ran so smooth and perfect for that! When we got our pictures back from Robbie, I can't even rant and rave about his quality of photographs! The pictures were just amazing! The coloring and lighting was perfect! I'm not usually a photogenic person, but my gosh he made me look just stunning in every picture! He captured every moment, even the ones I didn't remember! He captured little details of things I never even saw that day because I was so busy I missed a lot, but leave it to Robbie to capture it for me! When my friends and family saw the pictures I had so many compliments on them it was unreal! I can't even say how many people told my my wedding pictures were the best they have ever seen, and how amazingly talented My photographer is! I had people asking for his number and just going off about these beautiful pictures! I walked into work the next day from posting my pictures to my friends and all I heard all day at work was, who's your photographer? Your pictures were so beautiful, you had such an amazing photographer! Also, I had an Uncle with stage 4 cancer at my wedding, and I had mentioned that to Robbie in the morning, and when Robbie delivered me my photos he told me he had taken and added lots of photos of my Uncle and I, and sure enough there were so many of my uncle that I will now always have for memories. I seriously started crying when I saw all these beautiful pictures of my Uncle. I couldn't believe he remembered that I had told him that in the morning and he remembered that throughout the whole day!
