But as I also have a 6 week old baby and no one else to watch her, she had to come too... My appointment started out with my 2 year old sitting on my lap in the chair while Rita the hygienist raised up the chair and looked at both her teeth and mine, and given that she's going through her painfully shy phase, this was a miracle... Rita then lowered the chair and held out her hand to take my daughter to my mom in the waiting area, and my daughter happily went with her (again, miracle!) Rita then x-rayed my teeth and was very gentle, I wasn't uncomfortable at all (unlike previous dental X-rays). She then started my cleaning. Halfway through my cleaning, my youngest started howling and we could hear her all the way in the waiting room. Rita paused my cleaning, had my mom bring in the baby and gave me 10 minutes to nurse her right in the chair. Once the baby was happily asleep, Rita resumed my cleaning. I didn't actually get to see the dentist as he got called out on an emergency, but he looked at my x-rays later and called me to tell me everything looked just fine. My 2 year old had a great time in the waiting room, there were tons of toys for her to play with and the receptionist even gave her a prize for being so good. The whole experience was so positive, both for me and my kids and I will never be switching dentists ever again! My two year old is still talking about going to see the doctor that helped her teeth!

They said I had 2 suspected cavities. That was 2 years ago. Still have no tooth pain but recently got insurance and forgot why I never went back. The receptionist acting as thought I had questionable insurance and later called back to let me know they did accept my insurance -as if I won the lottery- but there would still be a $25 deductible. I asked 5 people at work and NOT ONE said they pay a deductible for cleanings. Brighton also wanted $100 for any work I might need done and said it as if I should expect something to be wrong, even though I've never had a cavity and have no tooth pain.

They asked me when the last time I went to a dentist was and were shocked that I had seen one 6.5 months ago. They asked what my last dentist had said about my teeth after that appointment and I reported that I was told that there was no problems, no cavities. I'm pretty sure that they either think I'm lying or are just laughing at me at this point. Because it's hard to believe that now I need 3 crowns replaced and have 7 cavities and may even need a tooth or two extracted completely and this just all happened within the 6 months since my last time at a dentist. It's probably a good thing that I was forced to find a new dentist by my insurance.

I ended up here because I had to have a root canal about a week before moving to New York. (I know, right?) My dentist in Florida provided the root canal, but because of the time involved in getting a crown, I was going to have to do that when I got to New York. Even though this place had no reviews on Yelp, it did have great reviews on other rating websites, so I decided to give them a try. From the beginning, this was a very good experience. I called to schedule an appointment, the phone was picked up immediately, and the person on the other end was polite and friendly. They took my information, and were able to schedule an appointment within a few days of my planned arrival in New York. They had the availability to schedule me on a day that would be most convenient for my schedule despite the short notice. From the outside, it looks like a pretty small place but very well kept. There's plenty of parking. Inside, the lobby is open and bright. I showed up about 15 minutes early to my appointment, and was greeted right away. They knew who I was without telling them, and I was taken back almost immediately. The wait in the suite was short, the dental hygienist was friendly and professional. Dr Brent was in shortly after, and they got right to work. For this visit, I just had a permanent filling to replace the temporary one from the root canal. They will be getting authorization from insurance to proceed with the root canal, which will happen over the next couple of weeks. I will update my review as appropriate, but so far it's been a great experience.

They refused to reschedule me. i then asked id they could refer me to an oral surgeon to extract the bad tooth since I couldnt afford the root canal and crown andrhe dentist came out and said i was no longer their patient cause I didnt follow the treatment plan.
