But at my recent visit, I left feeling unheard as a customer. I felt pressure to get extensions on all nails, but compromised on just my thumb because the edge had a little breakage, even though I specifically said I didn't want extensions, so I gave in -- as I have with other things in the past. The result looked noticeably different from my other thumb (so thick and wide), yet she insisted it was due to my nail bed. When she eventually removed the extension, both thumbs looked the same. I know this was not an issue with my nails, but rather the application even though she would not back down. She also burned me multiple times during the appointment, and despite me expressing the pain I was in, there was no reaction or apology -- as if I was expected to just tolerate it. After all this time, it's disappointing to leave unhappy with both the experience and the end result.
