I've been seeing Robert Adamich for a little over a year now. I heard about him from my brother's wife who was recommended surgery for her shoulder, she instead saw Robert and he helped her heal on her own. I'm in my 20's and I had an injury in my lower back at work, this made it painful to go on hikes and run, or even go up stairs. I very nearly crawled into Dr. Robert's office about two years ago with a recurring slipped vertebrae. He gave me some relief right away and in a couple of sessions I could function. I started regular weekly sessions and in short order I was completely pain free. He has since cut my sessions down, from once a week, to now I am still pain free but only go in for an adjustment about once a month. The sessions are slow and methodical and truly relaxing. In terms of value he is very cheap because he spends a great deal of time doing body work at each session instead of a quick cheap adjustment that feels good in the moment but doesn't bring long term relief. He truly is a doctor, with deep intellectual knowledge about the body, even on subjects not related to the spine. He also has a great sense of humor. Just anecdotal but I like to get an adjustment on the days when I play golf because the improved range of movement in my spine after an adjustment is good for about ten extra yards. Dr. Robert Adamich has the gift of healing. I really felt fortunate to find him. I was attracted to the fact that other people mentioned he is gentle as I had a bad experience with a chiropractor one time a long time ago. Since that time I felt I would not ever go to a chiropractor again, until my recent spinal x-Ray from Kaiser. I am a healthy 65 year old woman who has exercised all my life and got to the point that even taking walks were bothering my back and episodes with Sciatica were terribly painful. I went to the back class at Kaiser as they suggested to build my core, but it did not do much. In desperation I looked on line and found Dr. Robert as he calls himself. First of all I liked his pictures and his face just seemed like a face to be trusted. I emailed him and he suggested to get a copy of my X-ray to him which I did. Then I asked him to come back to me with concrete steps he would take to help me. (I was diagnosed with some arthritis, curvature of the spine and several disks close to the bone but not ruptured. ) When I looked at my Xray at Kaiser I was afraid I was doomed for life when I heard that arthritis word, but kept on believing that there was hope and a possibility for healing. I decided to make my first appointment after Dr. Robert came up with a what sounded like a good plan and mentioned that he did thing he could help me for sure. I must say that after one gentle session Dr. Robert I was sooooooo much better. In one session he was able to lengthen one leg that was 1" short and I found I could go back to walking and working out with the arm weights at the gym. (Even that had previously bothered me) He has created a sacred healing space and he is not in a hurry, taking time to explain everything so well. The amazing part of his sessions is that they feel more like a deep massage than chiropractic work as I knew it. He has given me so many good pointers about sitting standing and even has some great cream that helped my pain, which is mostly gone. He also has cool pillows that he sells and they last a long time and are great support for the neck. I will be going back for a few more sessions ,as getting this way took years . I am good and trusting that Dr. Robert knows exactly what he is doing and will do what it takes to get me completely aligned so I can go back to doing all the rigorous exercise and activities I am used to and be me! I highly recommend Dr. Robert and i love that he gave his time and gifts to prisoners in San Quentin. .... Now that is a good guy.
