It was taking up my entire person-hood! The day I'm done with the second round, I have an appointment here (had to reschedule once or twice-- I'm broke.) After getting quoted exorbitant prices in different places, this office quoted the least in town for a simple extraction, and... I've had an extraction before, but Dr. Hutchins had that thing out of my mouth in less than 5 minutes. It took longer for setup than the actual extraction! My last one took 45 minutes of work for a similar procedure. I even asked "...Was that it?" after Hutchins' work. The staff here are also very kind and describe anything you need explained, and also made sure the local anesthetic was doing its job before getting anything too crazy near my mouth. (I've heard horror stories from friends going to other dentists. I am very pleased to say that was not the case with Dr. Hutchins!) If I can keep coming back here, I won't be nearly as scared of the dentist.

The office was super to schedule this quickly, and in more than one appointment, so I didnt drool on my co workers from being too numb. Dr Hutchins has always given me his honest opinion on treatment, and not what costs most. I totally trust his judgement, and he appreciates his patients, and tells us we can call weekends if an emergency arises. His office is beautiful, and his staff is great. I moved to the area about a year ago and had not been in to get my teeth cleaned since moving here. I was used to going every six months so decided I needed to get in somewhere for routine cleaning. I called them on Tuesday and was surprised to hear they had appointments available the very next day. Some of the other local dentists I had contacted were booking appointments two months out. I arrived on time went through "routine" full mouth x-ray, was moved to a room went through a "routine" full mouth 3-D imaging scan from the dental hygienist. The dentist then came in the room spent about 15 seconds, looking at my photos on the screen never once even looked in my mouth and told me I needed three crowns and a bunch of other dental work. I was then ushered upfront to the business office and was told the total cost for the work I needed to have done was slightly over $7000. I declined and was told that was my only option or I could decline treatment which I did. I was there for over two hours and didn't even get the routine cleaning that I had scheduled an appointment for. I now have an appointment with a highly recommended local dentist about two months out, but I'm happy to wait. This place just really seemed like a total scam to me.

Let me start off by saying this is not directed at the staff they were great its the dentist I have…read morean issue with. I was needing one tooth pulled. Came all the way from Brownwood to Eastland because it was the only place open. They got me in though and fast service to get you to the back. This lady acted sweet at first came in said she could pull 2 teeth and take care of me which was nice. She comes back with a tablet explaining I needed more work done if I wanted I could get a loan on this app from the tablet. Typed my stuff in and it actually approved for $3500. She said I could get both teeth pulled and get partials made. I was ecstatic finally be able to eat again. After I signed the app and had to pay $500 down she comes back sits me back and begins to jam the needle in hard as heck and then didn't give me 2 seconds to numb before she started to pull. I cried out and she got pissed and walked into the other room. Then comes back and jams the needle in again begins to pull again I wince and cry ought which pisses her off more and she says if you don't stop I'm not pulling your tooth. i held back and she twist, yanks and bam she pulls the tooth out but hits the one next to it and snaps half my filling out(she refuses to fix unless I pay another $1400 for a crown, had the filling for 10 years no problem. Then she pulls my molar with me almost breaking the arms off the chair and seriously feeling the tooth slowly snap, I kept yelling at this point and she finally pops it out while I nearly passed out and was crying hysterically. Fast forward 1 month later, the partials come in and I try them on, they have a huge gap where my filling use to be and don't fit right. I tried telling her they hurt and she rolls her eyes and says pain is to be expected then walks off. Assistant came in and asked if everything was alright. I showed her the gap and said no. Dentist got even more upset when she asked for her to come back to my room. Anyways loan wound up being way over(my own fault for not double checking everything) but now paying over $5000 for partials I cannot use. Absolutely the worst service and worst I've ever been treated at a dentist office.
