I should have looked at the reviews on Yelp - the ladies that work there were very nice and obviously very overbooked- I was referred here by my insurance- the "dentist" was awful - I was nothing more than a big dollar sign - his dental care was non existent- care quality was the lowest of the low - I have reported him to my insurance and I will not use him again - the wait time was over an hour and he spent less than two minutes with me and that's only because I asked questions- big disappointment- if you need care and have questions - go somewhere else - I was too rattled to have the cleaning - the x-ray experience was weird IDK how much experience she had but she was nice enough and seemed to care about her job so there is that - I have sympathy for the women that work here - what a nightmare - would definitely not take a child here read more

Horrible experience! I had five teeth cut out of my mouth and was told to take Advil or Tylenol for the pain. I had to call to remind them I needed antibiotics and it took a whole day for them to be called in. Unless you are a big fan of pain avoid this place. read more

My mother had a visit to get a temporary crown and they botched the job. The crown was glued on crooked. After attempting to get the permanent crown from Avenue Dental and go elsewhere to have it put on, she was informed that insurance wouldn't pay unless it was done there. She reluctantly went back and once again had an issue because the temporary crown they installed caused an infection. She called to see if she could get seen and perhaps be prescribed some antibiotics but they said they couldn't get her in for 3 days. The lack of urgency concerning her situation is absolutely unreal. The first dentist she saw was a creep and it just went downhill from there. I WOULDNT TAKE A DOG TO THIS PLACE. Dr Reedy is over worked, I believe. But there's something underlying because the business has a lot of turnover. I absolutely dislike having to go there. My appt is never on time. I showed up an hour early for my last appt and still had to wait for half an hour past the appt time. Oh, and expect to wait and watch kids TV. P.S. my partials are nothing like my permanent teeth. Aaauuuggghhh. At that point I'm so aggravated that I just left w/o making this complaint known at the facility! read more

Where do I start? Terrible experience. 1. I've never ever at any dentist office I've been to, have office personally come in during a procedure and want the money you owe them for that visit. They do it everytime. 2. Again, never ever at any dentist that I've been to, does the hygienist only clean and floss certain teeth... maybe a tooth or two may not have tatar on them, but not the majority of them. Plus all teeth need to be flossed by the hygienist. I'm going to report them to my insurance about charging my insurance for a full cleaning, when they don't do a full job. 3. It took them three tries to properly put a filling in one of my front teeth. Again, never ever have I had a problem like this at any dentist I've been to. I would never recommend this dental office!!! read more

Very clean office and polite staff. The dentist on staff is was very friendly as well and gentle.. I enjoyed my experience. They have up to date equipment. I like the updated x-ray machines, that even my dentist in Dallas did not have !!! I will be sending my family there as well. read more

I am giving this place 3 stars because the normal dentist and the staff were wonderful with me and my kids. I will not give 5 stars because the dentist that comes in to do the oral surgeries was 100% awful! I was told that my 8 year old daughter would be awake but that she would not remember anything. The sedation didn't completely take on her and she felt everything and would tell him that he was hurting her and instead of trying to calm her down, he continued working while she was screaming in pain and then would yell at her for crying. If you are just going for a normal dental appointment, i absolutely recommend, but if you are needing any oral surgery, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! That man has 0 bedside manners and should not be working with kids!!! read more

I'm not pleased with the dentist's. I went there and the dentist messed my filling up so bad that I would have rather kept the cavities. One tooth is so over filled that I can't close my mouth all the way. They made one tooth very gritty and I can't get it off. Don't recommend. read more

The dentist was very friendly made me feel very calm while he caring for my teeth staff at the front desk very rude talked down to me when I called saying that I still had pain in my mouth and was out of pain meds receptionist stated we will not be calling you in any more pain meds your teeth shouldn't still be hurting. I think it's up to me to judge whether or not my teeth are still hurting. I assume now that they already have my $800 for having my teeth worked on they don't care about me anymore I will not be going back to this dentist and do not recommend anyone to. read more

2 years ago, in 2014, I went to get service and as I was filing out the extremely long application forms, a disgruntled patient was expressing his utter disappointment! I did not think much of it at the time, but after the poor service and corrupt attitude of the dentist and deceit they exhibited, plus exorbitant charges, I understood.! I was given a "bulky" crown, as well as very wrong shade of color. I told the dentist how unhappy I was with the work. He told me he would have it returned and exchanged for a better and more appropriate shade to match my existing teeth. In a week, ( which seemed like too short a period for a proper remake), he called me back in. He put in the exact same wrong tooth and quickly tried to pass it off as new. I didn't realize that it was the same improper crown till I got home and examined it more thoroughly. In essence, he (they) lied and charged me far too much. I swore I'd never go back and have had to live with that deceit ever since! Well, I had an emergency tooth pian and called for new dental care insurance, and was given a number to call. Unbeknownst to me, it turned out to be the exact same location, but I was in pain and thought maybe things would be OK for just some medication and examination? I went in an hour early, 11:00am, just in case they could See me in an emergency, but I, as well as 3 other clients were not seen for 3 hours!! During which time, Nobody tried to explain the extreme delay,& when I inquired, it was as if I offended them!! All this wait would've been fine, but there were 5 children raising hell, throwing and breaking toys without ANYONE trying to manage them. Both Mothers were just sitting and reading their phones! When the children started screaming and getting more and more out of control, I'd had enough and I also screamed to get someone to take notice! The Receptionist, Susan, couldn't understand why I would be upset? "They are just being kids" she said. I told her "This is NOT A DAY CARE" I told her and they had Not been supervised At All for hours and obviously were Never going to be!! Ironically, one of the two obese mothers, had shut her child's fingers in the door as she walked in, from being on her phone and Not paying attention to the poor child upon arrival! All this while I was trying to carry on a nice quiet conversation with another patient, who'd also been patently waiting since 11:00am!! We could not believe that the place was more like a Daycare than a Dentist and Nobody was concerned with any control over the chaos! So even with my aching tooth, I decided that Nothing was worth such disrespect and after the original deceit and corrupt procedures, I simply walked out and left! I had noticed that the one dentist had his employees doing procedures that they were NOT qualified to do, so he could make more money and now I've reported them to many agencies, as well as the insurance company that referred me there & will continue to, till someone looks closer into such rip off dentistry! I still have the improper teeth work and if necessary, I will be able to prove that they Never had Any intention on replacing it with the proper shade of crown!! This tale needed to be told and I'm so angry at that place, I look forward to ANY repercussions that may incur! I'm going to talk with my attorney & let him know about such a crooked establishment. I'm so glad I met one of the employees at Walmart. We had been referred to Abilene by another office here in Brownwood because my granddaughter needed dental work done. Instead, I took her to Avenue Dental. Their office is very clean, much larger than it appears from the outside and the staff is awesome! The receptionist, the techs, the hygienist and the dentist, they were all so friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. I've asked my daughter to move all her kids to this office. read more

We had two dental appointments at the same time to get our teeth cleaned at 1:00 PM. The office was very unorganized with people walking in and out. When I asked about how long I would have to wait they told me it would be another 45 minutes or longer. I told them that my appointment was at 1:00. The clerk told me if I wanted to get in on time I should make my appointment first thing in the morning. I can't believe she said that. I told her we were going to leave if we didn't get in soon. After a few more minutes she takes my son in and 10 minutes later they put me in the same room. While waiting in the room someone comes in and starts eating in front of a computer. The person eating then leaves. I watch a girl walk down the hall carrying a high-pressure tank and then she drops it in the next room. It made a loud noise as it hits the floor. Very dangerous. Finally, I am able to stop someone in the hall and ask about getting my teeth cleaned. They tell me it would be right after when my son is done getting his cleaned. I told the girl that we both had appointments at the same time. I let her know that was unacceptable because we had other things to do. She tells me that is all they can do. I said that it seems they schedule too many people at the same time and they should put more time between people. She told me that is the way corporate says they have to do it. We left. I would not go back to this place even if it was free. It was very unorganized and very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place. read more
