During my recovery from surgery with another oral surgeon in the same practice (Dr. Cho...who's awesome too and did an amazing job with my surgery), Dr. Yates saw me for post-op concerns while Dr. Cho was out of town. In reviewing my chart, Dr. Yates validated the concerns I had raised from the beginning and gave me a greater understanding of what had truly been going on. Together with the assistance of Katie, a dentist herself, he addressed what hadn't been resolved and redid my temporary crown. The entire team was compassionate and Dr. Yates and Katie spent a great deal of time, went above and beyond the expectation, and the result was amazing!!! Chelsea was the sweetest person ever, and really made me feel comfortable. I have never experienced such a thorough and in-depth explanation/analysis of my teeth and dental health. We discussed my medical history and factors that could affect my teeth health, and Chelsea detailed each process that we went through. The cleaning process went smoothly and then Dr. Silver came in to check on me. The 2/3 they replaced were on the top and not the three on bottom that they needed to be filled so I didn't bother filling the last molar which they were trying to charge $1600 alone!! And now my bite is not even. I was afraid to go back simply because of the uncertain pricing! Then the billing person (who clearly needs more training with coding) told me she verified with my insurance what was going to be covered. I was charged one amount and then my card they have you leave on file was ran again for a totally different amount weeks after I left. They then sent me a $741 bill for no reason. I only had two visits!! I didn't even get an initial Annual free cleaning that my insurance pays for!! I was told I needed to get a debridement first because my insurance wouldn't cover for the scaling I needed so I paid for that upfront and now they are saying the insurance wouldn't cover it. Which is it?!! Now this office is implying I have this outstanding balance over 60 days which in fact I contacted them on June 5th to cancel the $1600 appointment and asked for a detail bill and they are just getting back to me today!! Someone cannot count in that office!! Why would you charge for services that aren't covered? They could have told me this in the consultation. You can't charge me for something I didn't get done. You won't be in office long doing this to innocent people for no reason. I'm not One to be ripped off and I won't be ever again. I have great insurance and I don't even understand why this is going on. I will never go there again. Ever! This was one of the reasons I don't even bother going to the dentist in the south. They ruined my experience again!! Thanks a lot. Won't be going to any here after that experience!!!

The ladies at the front desk were an absolute pleasure, so sweet and so professional, they made me feel so welcome. I also was taken to the back very promptly which was amazing, as I am usually used to waiting for a while at previous dental offices. Getting my teeth cleaned was a breeze. My technician was so so sooo sweet, I wish I could mention her by name but unfortunately I forgot it! Super knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. O'Neal was also wonderful. He made me feel super welcome and eased all my stress; Prior to coming in, I was scared and concerned for the health of my teeth as admittedly I haven't been taking the best care of them. He was very comforting and eased my concerns, and made the time to get me in for a cavity fill very shortly after the cleaning. He was also very funny! Which I appreciated, because I am very scared of cavity fillings and it helped ease some of my nerves. I 100% recommend this office, it was such a positive experience. I went to Roswell Wellness Dentistry, formerly Shenk Dentistry, and my cleaning was done by Becca. She was terrible, she failed to cover my face during the process and i ended up with water and additive all over my face. She was rough in handling and painful in probing my gums, and during the appointment she left without explanation for several minutes. Also, interrupted my cleaning to help another employee with login problem. Her overall attitude was like she wanted to be somewhere else doing something other than cleaning my teeth. Then another employee took 15 minutes to take my x-rays, repeating the same steps numerous times. Since ownership changes in this practice the quality of overall service has suffered. Life is too short to accept poor service, go somewhere else for professional dentistry.

Connie, the hygienist, was thorough, kind, compassionate, professional and she sure knows how to get teeth clean. She made me feel safe and that's says a lot. This was my first visit and it definitely will not be my last.
