It's an easy fix that I could do myself but I had other projects to do and I honestly just didn't feel like doing it. Also when I shut the water off to the sink I also noticed the valve had a small leak so I asked for the quote to include that also. I was quoted $950 for these simple fixes. I politely told them no, they charged me nearly $80 just to come and look and sent them on their way. I went to the hardware store paid $12 in parts and had the issue resolved in an hour and 30 minutes. Something the "pros" would have been able to do in about half the time I'm sure.

The issue was with the company and not with me. I was not going to reschedule. This is an overpriced company that takes advantage of desperate situations. My bill to replace the pipes in a very small area was over $2,000.00. The saga does not end here. I tried to wash clothes this morning, only to discover that the water supply was somehow not reaching the washer. Now, I have to contact another plumber to fix this problem caused by this company.
