I can only assume there are no reviews of Robert Half's Coachella Valley office in Indian Wells because people are intimidated and do not want to ruin their chances of finding employment through this agency...or more appropriately this "cult". Robert Half has one of the best marketing teams in the country, every ad they place is 20% about the job and 80% about praising themselves. Anyone who believes these people care about finding you a job are delusional, they are there to make money off of you! They pay you $15 per hour for a $25 and hour job, while your employer is paying them $40 and hour for your being their...they make more money off you than you do. It is in their best interest to keep you in a temporary status, they make more money from you that way...they will not allow your employer to hire you outright until you reach a certain number of hours working for them. I have 20 year's experience in managing the business operation of multimillion dollar international corporations and they refused to submit my resume for any position I was qualified for, rather forcing me into clerical administrative positions paying less than $40,000 a year (my prior salary was will into six figures). If you complain, you are done, they will ignore you and not respond. I wish I could post my email communications with this office to show you how rude and uncaring they are. I am nearly 50 years old and the email's tone is as if they are talking to a 10 year old. Its unfortunate that Robert Half has a choke hold on accounting position in our area, you are nearly forced to use their agency. If they put 1% of the effort into really caring about employees and their well-being they might provide help rather than hindrance...they have in many ways sped up the destruction of my career and personal financial situation. I registered with accountemps in June of 2012. They gave me great advice on how to market my skills in this difficult ecconomy. In the year I have been with them they found me a coujple of direct hire oportunites as well as several medium term temp assignments, both were excellent local companies to work with.
