Plus, this site only mentions Dr. Robinson. She asked if I had been there before. I said no. She asked for my name and D.O.B. I asked why she asked (since I had not been there before I knew she would not find me in their system). She said if I had been to see any doctor in the area they would not be able to see me. She also told me that the first appointment with him was telemedicine. What? So how is that going to help him see what is going on with me physically - like touching my stomach area? Thank God I found Dr Robinson who sent me to the Mayo Hospital In Florida, that's when I met Dr Bowers and they let me work out my own schedule and did tests back to back instead of running around like before to all kinds of doctors . Achalasia was healed but Dr Stephan Bowers forever grateful and when I got home he even supported me to tell the doctors to give me a test when they did not think throwing up blood and screaming the worst pain in my life just by drinking water was valid I got a GI tear and they wanted to send me home even after I showed them pictures of the blood of just one hospital tray but they said I wasn't Anemic from blood test enough ???????? What ? I have a tear ? I called Dr Bowers and he had the brains to tell them give her a endoscopic !! Then my other doctor on call demands who fixed me??? Then says " I can do it today but I want all the doctors eyes on you " Wow , even doctors came in to meet me or show me inventions As a woman in Fremont three one nice doctor out and said" she needs her rest" But he was a Happy Doctor wanting you help out patients in a whole different field . I've seen the Good , very good bed side manners And even doctors showing me how other radiologists have misdiagnosed my xrays That led to serious problems ahead in my life . Onward through the fog, they say, and after two weekend days of fever, snot-fog, and pain (I…read morethought my teeth were gonna pop outta my jaw from the pressure!), Dr Hathcock was my lighthouse yesterday. Corny, yes, but a shot in the ass (cortisone), OTC recommendations, antibiotic script, and 4 hours later, I was feeling quite capital (and grateful!). Dr Ann, as even us adult patients call her, does NOT screw around. I wondered at the fact that I showed up 15 minutes early to do paperwork, was ushered into the exam room on time and was outta there in less than 30 minutes total. Had my script filled at CVS and was home all done in an hour, and when you feel crappy that is a blessing indeed. What I really like about Dr Ann is that she listens to me, and it may be a professional courtesy since I am in the medical field, but she takes my self diagnoses into careful consideration. If I think I need an x-ray, CT, etc, she will promptly fax the orders to Brack so I can get it done fast. If I need labs, same thing. A coupla years ago, I thought I had a brain tumor (medical professionals can be paranoid hypochondriacs but this fear was well earned with 2 wks of relentless headaches). She treated for sinus and when that didn't work, she sent me for CT. What was most worrisome was I was due to head to the jungles of Peru in about a week, nowhere near medical facilities (just witch doctors!), so I was beginning to panic. I had a CT and MRA done super fast and then she recommended I see a Neurolgist. After calling around, I told Dr Ann I couldn't get in as a new patient with any of them for months. A few hours later, she called me back and informed me that she got me in the next day with one around the corner from my work.* So yeah, I like Dr Ann. Whenever I need her she's there to listen and then fix me promptly and courteously. *BTW, no dain bramage, in case you were worried.

I went to Dr. Mauldin after not having a GP for some time. I had a reoccurring issue of prostatitis…read morethat was causing difficulty in urination and sometimes extreme pain. With me, I bought my medical records and all of the prescriptions I had been given in the past. When I presented this to Dr. Mauldin, he skimmed through what I had and said, "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" I told him that I didn't know, which is why I was there. He responded, "I'll give you some Flomax. I don't hand out pain medication, and if you want further treatment you'll need to find a urologist". Before I could respond, he made a bee line for the door and left. I waited for him to come back but he didn't. At this point, I gather my things and begin to leave. Dr. Mauldin is standing there with his staff chit chatting. As I go to depart, I'm given the bill. It says, "Office visit - $289". I looked up at Dr. Mauldin and said, "Isn't that a bit high when you spent only 2 minutes with me and did no kind of procedure?" He responded, "That's why insurance is important". Being the good boy that I am, I reached for a credit card to pay this outrageous price for nothing. Dr. Mauldin himself took the card and ran it through the machine, and watched with baited breath for the approval. Never again. I regret paying, but I don't regret never seeing him again.

He told me to come in right then. Now, to be clear, it was 4:50 and I live half an hour away. It didn't matter to him, he said he'd be there. When I got there, the door was locked, but his staff let me in and led me back. He didn't rush me, he listened and made sure I had everything I needed. In short, he cares. To be honest, it took me a couple of visits to really warm up to him, but now that I've been a patient for a while, I have to say I really like him a lot. He also has a nice sense of humor, not always on display, but at the appropriate time, it sure can make a visit more pleasant. He never makes me feel rushed, he always asks, "What else?" several times, which does help me remember other things I want to discuss with him. The staff at his office is friendly and personable. It's hard to find a good doctor. He's one of them.

I came to get my medications renewed and my pharmacy sent them to be ordered from the office. When I returned to the pharmacy they said they never got a reply. I would call the Dr.s office and it would go to voicemail and I would never hear back. I called quite a few times. I figured they closed or moved. I felt very betrayed at the time. I had to see someone else and then they moved. I recently went on Yelp to find a new doctor and saw that Dr. Chikkala was still at the same place!?? WT? I left another message, again, no response! I drove over there today and only the nurse was there. I told her about all this and said she would have someone get back to me. So Dr. Chikkala's husband (who runs the front) Just now called me. He was very rude to me. He said that because it had been almost 2 years that she was no longer my doctor, (well of course she wasn't). I wanted to go back to see her. He wanted to go round and round about when he "said" he called me back a long time ago and it was ME that never responded. LOL really? I DID call, MANY MANY Times! No one ever got back to me. Very irresponsible for a doctor's office. So, I said I would like to get in to see her. Then he tells me that I have to find another doctor because she won't have any information from the last 2 years?? Well, they can get that information from the last group I was at. He proceeded to then just make up stuff and it got ridiculous. He made no sense, I realized he was just being an ass. I really do not wish to deal with people like that so I will find a new, better, more communicative, and responsive doctor's office.

If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have had extra time with a dad of 3 that ultimately passed away from cancer. I also like they have an in-house lab. It's relatively easy to get in same day if you are ill. I never wait long in the waiting area either. They have turn over in the office over the years but what office doesn't.
