I don't have anything good to share about this business. It acts more as a business than healthcare. Saw Dr Junaid Sadiqqi (sp?) he sat next to me on a chair & asked me a few questions. No exam, no deep questions, just simple ones & only a few before suggesting I get a Endoscopy. It costs $8000 approximately so it makes sense as to why he went straight for the endoscopy. I get it done, find out I have a hiatal hernia by my husband when I was still out for procedure. Put me on Pantaprozole. The end. No call back for follow up or checkin. I had to call for medicine refill after 30 days. I told her let me guess: I need a follow up in order to do that? Answer: yes. Another few hundred bucks! I told them I don't want to see the same doctor again, but after all of that I don't want to do business with them at all! Be warned. Don't be a number read more

Do yourself a favor and dont go here. They dont call back as they use a third party agency to field all phone calls. I have had to follow up multiple times, which usually results in me having to go into the office just to get an appointment scheduled as the phone service is useless. Also, expect to wait 6 months to get in, and even then, you're speaking with a nurse, not the actual doctors who seem to be MIA all the time. Trust me, go somewhere else, its not worth it. read more

Excellent center from the time of the appointment, to prep instructions given days before your appointment, to the appointment itself, very professional, quality care and staff is very detailed and on top of their game! When you go to their center, you're nervous but they definitely take the edge off and make sure you know exactly what is being done and the timing of everything is top notch! % rating! read more

I frequently have gas after I eat and it has gotten worse over the years so I saw Dr. Siddiqui. After asking me about my diet and known allergies, he suggested doing a colonoscopy and an endoscopy (and biopsy a portion of my stomach lining) to find out what is going on. I have been well taken care of. The quality of my health is well considered. I recommend the Cedar Park location.

My doctor recommended this facility to get my colonoscopy. It is close to my house and convenient to get there. The first appointment was a month from when I called. I have heard other offices even had longer wait times. I have visited about three times now. The reception area is small but it was only the third visit that I was uncomfortable with the crowd. The nurse then asked the latest clients to wait outside or in their cars. You walk in and sign in and use sanitizer on your hands. The nurse will call you over to fill in forms for your visit. If you owe money they collect it at this time. The wait was usually short no more than ten minutes. All staff was masked and gloved. The brought you to a private room and within minutes the doctor, nurse, or technician would arrive. Everyone was respectful and kept their distance. My procedure was scheduled for two weeks out. They explained what I should do for that visit. They called in my prescriptions to take. The day of I arrived on time and I filled in the forms. They brought me to the large waiting room. There was a TV displaying the wait list and which stage they were at. I found this helpful. My turn and it was quick. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Yes, they put you to sleep but I wake quickly after I'm out. They call your ride as soon as you are awake. I asked for my clothes and they brought it but told me to wait until doctor checks me. I did get an apple juice as I was hungry. They have a lab onsite to do your blood and poo tests. It seems others did not have my pleasant experience. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I went to the Lampasas office 4/24/25. I have been passing blood with Extreme lower abdominal pain. I saw the nurse practioner....Angelina Madewell, she was great and had a great treatment care with testing to be done. Then she told me her assistant would come in and explain how to do the home tests. Well not so, the young man brought the box in and handed it to me, I asked about instructions and he stated didn't know anything about and has never perused instructions. I was told to read instructions! I'm 70 and was a bit apprehensive but okay. Well guess what? I open the box to find one bottle with liquid leaking....if they would have opened to explain the tests, they would have seen. So I call this a.m. and left message, I received call back from a customer service from ????. I asked if Lampasas office was open. "I don't know will have to send this someone else" Received call from Cedar Park office from someone, I explained situation and she stated you will need a new test box, well figured that. Then I asked can go pick it up....yes you can. .2 minutes later I received a call from the same person. "I forgot that office is closed today... .you can go next Thursday and pickup a other test. The office experience is abysmal. You give them your drivers license with your address on it and they input a different street name than the one on the Drivers license. I have always been addressed by my surname and the staff thinks calling a patient by their first name is OK after you tell them you don't answer to a first name since it is not professional. The receptionists need to have a class on people skills and this location will lose business because they have no attention to detail and zero people skills. Hopefully the Doctors will get them trained since the Doctors are very caring but not the front desk staff. read more

Three - five months to schedule an appointment with Dr. Sadique or any of the staff for an EGD procedure. You call and they say they can't hear you and hang up after you have been on hold for 50 minutes at least each time. Or better yet, you reach the appointment area and they say someone else has to schedule this special procedure. Go somewhere else! I needed to have my 10-year screening colonoscopy appointment. My primary care doc recommended Dr. Kiker. I saw him at his office in Austin but set the location of the colonoscopy for Cedar Park Medical Center. Dr. Kiker did a great evaluation and work-up. The scheduling staff and front office staff were pretty difficult to get a hold of and to get follow-up questions answered as my insurance was going to be a problem with the first medical facility they wanted to schedule me in. The colonoscopy went off without a hitch. Dr. Kiker was professional and on time. He followed up after the procedure with my designated driver to indicate what they had found. Several weeks after the colonoscopy and probably unrelated I developed mild acute pancreatitis. It was painful and I wasn't sure where to go so I called Dr. Kiker's office. They got me in to see Dr. Kiker's nurse Practitioner, Kristen Young. She was very complete in her examination and history taking of my symptoms. She scheduled me for a CT scan which did find mile acute pancreatitis. She called me within a few hours of the CT scan to give me the results (unheard of with a physician), and said the CT scan also showed an abnormality on my liver. She recommended a MRI scan, which I did. The MRI scan gave a more complete look of the situation and again, she called me within hours with the results. They showed the spot on my liver as not being significant. That saved me a liver biopsy. Today I called to make a follow-up appointment change and had the same sort of run around with the front office schedulers. I recommend Dr. Kiker, but especially his nurse practitioner as she was far more tactically focused on getting answers than any doctor I have ever seen. read more

ZERO stars. Dealing with TDDC and GI Alliance is a fate worse than death. They did not communicate charges, they billed charges in error that are not recognized by insurance, and it's impossible to speak to someone to get resolution. They send all calls to a call center in Mexico, which seems to be understaffed according to the hours long hold times. The phone tree offers to have a call back, but that calls you back and puts you right into the same holding pattern. Totally flawed and ridiculous waste of time. At the facility, the staff at TDDC Cedar Park were rude and made us sit in the lobby for an hour and a half on procedure day while fasting, I should have been taken back to the prep area within a short time after arrival. This was exceptionally hard due to the fasting requirement and having a mid-day appointment. Afterward, a nurse who did not speak English was assigned to me for follow up via phone, but they nor I understood what next steps should be. I asked if I could talk to Dr Mbachu about why they recommended a second procedure within 3 months but they refused to let me set up any time to speak with the doctor - after an $8000 procedure. I am still dealing with their billing errors two months after my first visit there. Do yourself a favor and go to Austin Gastro instead, they are 1000% better even though they are also under the for-profit private equity corporation GI Alliance, which is horrible. read more

Dr. Mbatchu is fantastic. I came here at the recommendation of a colleague, and I was not disappointed. She is personable and explained everything clearly and as many times as it took to understand. She's not afraid to laugh or cry with you. The surgical center at cedar park was clean and all of the staff were very efficient at their jobs. I knew what was going on before I left and had pictures in hand. Within 3 days my PCP, had documentation from Dr M of the actual procedure. Pathology reports were on file within 5 weeks. I felt like a first-class citizen when it came to the care I received from Dr. Rafael Amaro, Gillie Webster, RN, and the rest of the staff at the office. I was especially impressed that Dr. Amaro personally called me at 6:00 PM the evening of my procedure, personally filled me in on the results, asked how I was doing and told me what to expect. I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy performed at the same time at Cedar Park Medical Center. From start-to-finish, as I said, I have never been treated better. I called at 5pm and got an answering service that told me to call back during business hours. I called the next afternoon and after being on hold a 1-3 min, the phone system forced me to leave a message rather than continuing to hold. I left a detailed concise message saying that I was a new patient and wanted to schedule a colonoscopy. I found a voicemail the next morning left at 7:19am saying that they were returning a "missed call". I called them back leaving my phone and name. I never heard back from them. I only called them because they are close and they're a 'premium' service provider with UnitedHealthCare. I don't agree with United's rating. I dealt with them 5 yrs ago and they tried to railroad me into a colonoscopy even after I learned that UnitedHealthCare didn't cover it due to my age. read more

I don't have an opinion regarding the doctors because I became so fed up with dealing with the staff that I cancelled my appointment. In a nutshell, had to call them several times to get them to call in a prescription as they said they would, received conflicting information depending on who I spoke to (when I was lucky enough to speak to someone), and every time I called, I waited on hold for 20+ minutes only to either get returned to the end of the queue, or hung up on. I was sent to TDDC as a VA referral and my initial appointment with Dr. Amaro when well as expected. Everything from then went downhill. I was given a list of prep items and was told that it would be my responsibility to purchase them out of pocket at a local drug store. As a VA referral they should know that there should be no out of pocket expense. I called the VA and they advised me to tell TDDC to fax a list of prep materials to the VA pharmacy but they have not done that to date. I cancelled my scheduled procedure until the VA can get me the materials needed but it appears that TDDC has failed to cancel the procedure both within there system and also did not notify the hospital where it was to take place. Have called a couple of times and between office staff that are not knowledgeable enough to answer questions but very good at transferring you to an extension that nobody answers and a poor patient portal system I am ready to give up and tell the VA to find me a competent Dr's Office. read more

This rating does not reflect the doctor's service it solely represents my opinion of the operation and management of the business. I saw Dr Amaro six months ago and he is very knowledgeable and made me feel well taken care of during the visit. Recently I tried to schedule an appointment for a procedure and the receptionist told me she needs to check with Dr Amare if I have to see him in office prior to the procedure- which is totally understandable. When I didn't hear back fron the office within two days, I called again and left a message asking if the Dr had made a decision. Four days later, I called again and I was again redirected to the voice-mail. I though maybe submitting a request through the patient portal would be a good idea, because at that point I was wondering wehether there is a good communication among the staff. Another two days passed and still no one had contacted me. Today I was near the office and I thought I might just go and schedule the appointment in person. I didn't tell initially the receptionist that it's been almost two weeks since my initial call, but when she mentioned that Dr Amaro has to decide first, I told her that this has gone for two weeks now. She said that they were understaffed. She didn't apologize for any inconvenience nor her attitude showed that she even cared. I let her know that I am concerned it might take another two weeks to hear from them - this is an issue for me because i need to plan to schedule the procedure sometimes during my upcoming two weeks vacation. When she told me in a rude way that yes it might take another two weeks, I knew at that point I don't want to give them my business. But before leaving I asked her if I could have an email address for the HR director, she told me it is not possible to give that information. She offered the email address of the office manager which I did not care to have, because I had tried to contact that person through the patient portal and I didn't get a response. If only the doctors knew who they had leading there staff members they might have a better understanding of why there turn over rate is so incredibly high! My daughter was referred for an urgent GI assessment due to bleeding. This clinic waited a week to call me back and then they gave her an appt 2 months out. I needed to schedule a colonoscopy, and they scheduled me as well, took insurance info, and gave me an appt 6 weeks out. I asked twice if they were in my network. The person responded "yes, we have that taken care of." The week before my colonoscopy, I get a call from their office. They are in fact NOT in-network. When I asked about the discrepancy between what I was told 2 months ago, I was told they outsource their office staff, and I had spoken with someone outside the country, and she just didn't know. Why did it take them 2 months to figure this out? Nothing but "I'm so sorry." No worries, I was told, they will try to make it right. They took my insurance info again, but never did call back with updated info about benefits, what the out of pocket cost will be, or any remedy at all. And of course, this affects my daughter's appt also. TWO MONTHS wasted... and it is so damn hard to find a GI appt right now. Two months of waiting... wasted on TDDC. read more

Has to be the most horrible service or Front desk rep ( Hale) believe is her name . Extremely disrespectful does not let you say anything seems like she is all over the place and cuts everyone off when they are talking. While in the waiting room hearing vent about other patients as they walk out has to be some type of work violation. Will not recommend this place to anyone if they will be treated like this by her . BUT I must say over all the nurse and Doctors where amazing but the front desk needs some Friendly smiling staff. As we where checking out we waited for 10 minutes as one young lady was helping an elderly couple could hear her positive attitude as we waited we got up and went to the empty desk thinking w could walk up and the lady automatically shook her said saying NO did not acknowledge us or anything . My wife and I sat back down the minute the elderly couple walked out this young lady quickly approached us and sat down. We could see some frustration in her but could not blame her right.... she kept a very positive smiling face and through our process never once did she take her smile off kuddos to her wish I remembered her name. Not good is too generous. If you don't have insurance don't bother! They expected me to pay over 4,000 in exams with the hopes of finding out what was wrong. When I explained I don't have that much I was mocked and told they can't help me. They took $500 from me and I didn't even receive advise or well wishes. After talking to 2 diff Dr's over the phone the could tell me what I had and started trying to help right away at tiny fraction of their cost. read more

I'm in complete accord with the other two reviewers. Dr. Siddiqui is wonderful. He takes time to answer questions, has excellent clinical skills, and pays attention to you and your issues. The office staff is unbelievably inefficient. They always have an excuse for missed callbacks, delays and generally poor handling of the patient and his/her issues. 99% of the time you get VM even when you call the triage extension, regardless of time of day. This extends to getting prescriptions refilled, too. I know Walgreens is very diligent about following up on refill orders, but even they cannot get results. The office staff is always having "phone issues" as well, and on more than one occasion the established-patient mailbox has been full. If you have the patience to constantly deal with that sort of thing, Dr. Siddiqui is wonderful. So is his PA. read more

Agree 100% with all the other reviews. This is not a review of Dr. Sadiqqui because he's basically impossible to see unless you can wait 5 months for an appointment (and most people with flaring IBD or major issues with current med protocols sadly don't have that luxury). In the meanwhile, your options are to see a NP with a serious attitude problem and an (unearned) ego the size of Dallas who couldn't listen to a patient to save her soul, or deal with front office staff that has ZERO responsiveness, compassion or sense of urgency, if they can even bring themselves to answer the phone or return a message. I moved here from Chicago and find this place to be staggeringly awful in comparison to our previous GI. Granted, it is never easy to see a specialist, and our healthcare system in general has lost nearly all capacity for human compassion, but this TDDC office is intolerable. They either need to get more/better front office staff, or PAs and NPs trained in the art of giving a s&*t about the human beings they see, or more doctors who are available to "practice" medicine. So yes, absolutely the worst. The physical office is nice though, so that must be the way they measure success. read more

Doctor and PA's are great. I can't say the same for the staff. I've had several scheduling issues where iveI been told I have an appointment, I show up to it, and then they say I don't. Then they try to fit me in and forgot to cancel the initial appointment they had supposedly rescheduled. Then I got charged a no show fee, I put in a call to office manager. Had a procedure done and all went well. Again Drs are great. Go in to get results and they want to charge me for the results of a procedure already performed and completed. Unfortunately due to family history I have been getting colonoscopies for over 10 years (think I have had 3) needless to say it was time again and I also needed an endoscopy so I went to this practice as my regular doctor recommended. I knew something was off when I had to sit on hold for sometimes over 30 minutes just to get the receptionist. But had my consultation and figured I was stuck. So I scheduled my procedures. Had a complication before ... Hemorrhoids just prior to my procedure and I couldn't get anyone to help... call in a cream or anything. So disorganized it was actually sad so I canceled my procedures. Unfortunately I knew I had to get in somewhere so I went back and had my procedures done today. Colonoscopy/Endoscopy. It might as well been an assembly line. They didn't care how sick their prep made me (the worst out of all my colonoscopies) or that I suffer from extreme anxiety, that I was nauseated and had the worst headache ever. Not to mention it sucks having to do this in the first place. It was wham bam thank you mam! I woke up in a panic attack, sick to my stomach and with a headache. (So they didn't treat any of that) They didn't care, their goal was to get me out of there. I'm still young! I seriously feel sorry for older people that have to endure this regularly. I tried to be my advocate but they ignored me. I've had so many surgeries and procedures over my life and this one was the worst. Note to staff and doctors: Take your time, don't do 30 procedures a day. Listen to your patients. Give them meds if they need it. Help them relax if they need too. God, no wonder no one wants to go in to get checked for the 3rd most common cancer. The doctors take for granted their patients. So does their staff and medical facility. read more

I really liked Dr. Siddiqui but the office is the most poorly run medical practice I've ever dealt with. They don't return calls, do what they promise to do, or follow through with referrals. I've had to get my family doctor to call and put pressure on them to get test results as well. A few weeks ago they said they would call later in the day with a referral. I'm still waiting. In the meantime, I've found another well-run, efficient practice to get what I need. I'm absolutely amazed by the incompetence of this office. read more
