I was a patient with Dr. Quaschnick for many years and had to change to another provider due to my insurance changing. Ever since then I have had nothing but problems with my dental care. Dr. Quaschnick always took the time to explain everything to me and make sure I felt comfortable. He really cares about his patients. He has a calm, holistic approach that I dearly miss. Every dentist I have been to since then seems more concerned with how fast they can get people in and out and more interested in what they can do to bill the insurance. His office has a warm feel and the woman who did the cleanings was the most gentle I have ever experienced. New location... Dr Quashnick is now at 525 S Fairmont Suite D. The office is in the north west corner of the complex. Still to this day, we absolutely love Dr Quashnick. He is professional and provides the best patient care under the circumstances. I previously dreaded yearly appointments, which is why I went 8 years without going to a dentist before meeting Dr Quashnick Be rest assured I make it to see him twice a year for my cleaning. He's thorough yet gentle, has friendly chair side manner, and is extremely accommodating plus knowledgeable for any special needs. His staff is extremely friendly, gentle and knowledgeable as well. As I wrote in my tips, Dr. Quashnick, his hygienist Nadine and the dorky office staff are very friendly, helpful and assuring. I have a *TERRIBLE* dental phobia (I'm 46 and act like a 4yo :-/ ), but they numbed me up and used a sonic tool (no, not a sonic screwdriver, but that would have been way cool... almost like a fez or a bow tie!) I was in Lodi, CA visiting my wife's family and and I chipped a tooth. Lets face it, none of us look forward to a dental visit... especially when its for something major like a chipped tooth. My father in law recommended Dr. Quaschnick because he has been so good to the family over the years. I make the call and the lady on the phone is able to fit me in for an appointment that afternoon. She was very understanding of the discomfort I was experiencing due to the nerve being exposed. I get to the office, fill out the forms and am into the office to see the Dr. ASAP. Dr. Quashnick. I have to say that even for a dental chicken like me, Dr. Q is very calming and really works to take the fear out of the experience. I find out that I need a root canal and a composite filling in order to fix things today. This isn't my first time with a root canal, but I will say its the first time I didn't sit there in agony. A little while later I am done, my tooth looks and feels great and I can go about the rest of my vacation in a normal manner... though I can't partake in eating anything too hard or sticky. This isn't the end of my dental needs thanks to a broken tooth... I still need to decide if I want to make the fix permanent using a dental implant of a porcelain crown. I am going back to Vegas next week do I have a little time to decide, but will be making a trip "to see family" in about a month and have decided that I will let Dr. Q finish the job. I highly recommend him if you live in Lodi or have family that does... Thanks Dr. Q for turning a potentially bad experience into a great one! read more

After calling the office to have a tooth ache checked out, I had to start the search for a new dentist. Calling on the 9th I was told the Dr Quaschnick could look at my tooth on the 20th! Eleven days is a ridiculous waiting time for a tooth ache. Got an appointment with my new dentist two days later and found that my tooth had cracked. Had to wait until Monday for a root canal. A week later my tooth is fixed. Had I waited the eleven days I would have lost the tooth not to mention the pain I would have had to endure. Don't call this office if you have less than perfect teeth! read more

Wow, just wow.... I busted my front tooth over the weekend, went into the office first thing Monday morning and shared my visible heartache with the receptionist, Denise. I can't express how she made me feel. Thank you! Denise called me back the same day and landed me an appointment with Dr. Schmierer Tuesday morning. Dr. Schmierer had to be hands down the best man for the job. He was very personable, spoke with me like a new friend would, unrelated to my nub of a tooth, 15 minutes prior to getting to work. My experience on his chair was NOT a stressful one, even without any numbing agencies. After about 40 minutes, Dr. Schmierer handed me his mirror and amazingly, my smile is back together again! A super-nice staff and a wonderful dentist. I was in the office yesterday to get a broken tooth taken care of. Every single one of the staff (dentist, front desk, dental hygienists) were super nice. I have an old crown that we kind of have to tiptoe around as I don't want an implant -- and the hygienist who cleaned my teeth was super careful around it. She also suggested that I go w/an alcohol-free mouthwash to cut down on plaque build up. Dr. Quashnick came in and discussed the results of my x-rays and helped me to put them in a priority order. He explained the pricing on each procedure. So the good news is that I've found a super dentist with nice staff. The bad news is that I'll be spending some extra time there. I just wanted to recognize Dr. Quaschnick for helping me out when I was in a bind. Someone that was staying in Lodi from out of town had a broken tooth and was in lots of pain on a Saturday.
