Company sent wrong dosage amounts and upon discussion and photographs company unwilling to do further business with me and has locked my account. Demanding further payments when they were at fault for sending the wrong dosage and I had already paid. I went to another company instead for my supplies. I would not recommend this company. I strongly recommend doing thorough research before trusting this provider with cosmetic procedures. I had liposuction done by Robert Milanes in June 2025 and unfortunately, I have zero results from the procedure. He was advertising a special for $5,000 for two areas, which sounded like a great deal at the time. Looking back, it should have been a red flag. I have had liposuction three times over the last 15 years, and each time I saw noticeable results 30 days or less. With this procedure, there has been no visible change at all, not even any weight loss. When I mentioned to him my weight has not changed, he responded saying it will not, another red flag given lipo removes fat why wouldn't your weight change? Another red flag. The follow-up care was also extremely disappointing. I only had one two-week follow-up appointment. During that visit he looked at the marks the compression garment left on my shoulders because it was too tight. He examined my body without the garment on but only to do a complimentary laser treatment under my arms. When I asked when I should return for another follow-up appointment, I was told December, which would have been 6 months after the procedure. In the past I had follow up appointments for 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, 6months, 9 months and 1 year at no additional charge and touch ups were made if needed. Another red flag was the amount of blood that was in the collection container and very little fat was visible. I am happy I did take pictures of that. At the time I was having pain and swelling in my knee. I had an appointment with my Orthopedic doctor 2 days later, Dr. Milanes offered to drain the fluid off my knee but made a comment about billing my insurance. Due to the amount of pain I was experiencing I agreed, after attempting a few times he was not able to obtain any fluid from my knee, when I went to my appointment 2 days later, he drained 30ccd of fluid with ease from my knee. Also Dr. Milanes mentioned he would send medication to my pharmacist to help with my knee pain, that never happened. I called the next day and the receptionist said she would put it at the top of his "To Do" list, which was something I heard before when leaving messages for him. It was at that moment I started paying attention to those red flags more and told myself he does not have a clue what he is doing. There is no way I should not have lost 5lbs at the least. He offered a skin treatment on my face, when I saw him googling medications and treatments, he even allowed me to take a photo of the company he orders from it was a huge red flag. He mentioned his wife was my complexion, letting me know he was not knowledgeable in that area. My previous doctors specialized in only a few procedures versus Dr. Milanes offered a wide range of services prohibiting him from being well diverse in any particular area unfortunately. I have sent emails explaining that I am not seeing any results as well as asking about the dark marks left where the injections were done and possible skin-lightening options. I have never received a response. I will say he comes across as a nice person, but as others have mentioned in their reviews, communication seems to stop once the payment has been made. His office assistant emailed or texted offering another service to me, I responded that I wanted to see the results of this service first. I never received another response from his office, hmmmm I wonder why. Looking back, there were several things during my consultation that should have made me trust my instincts. During our conversation he explained that he works in the emergency department at a hospital, and when I asked how he got into cosmetic procedures, his explanation raised concerns for me. I also noticed signs advertising a wide range of unrelated procedures, from hair transplants to dermatology treatments to liposuction and fat transfer. Seeing such a broad range of services offered in one place made me question things afterward. In my previous experiences with board-certified plastic surgeons, their credentials and certifications were always clearly displayed for patients to see and that was ALL they practiced. I did not see that here. At the end of the day, I paid $5,000 and saw no results, received very minimal follow-up care, and have gotten no responses to my concerns. I almost never give 5 stars, but Dr. Milanes deserves every last one. I went to other FUE clinics and they quoted 2x or 3x the price of what he charges. At first I was worried that maybe I would get a lower quality treatment, but 2 weeks after my procedure, everything looks amazing! I also opted for the stem cell treatment because all the other doctors recommended it, but even here Dr. Milanes charged less than half of what the other centers quoted. He told me that with his very low margins he's surprised that his clinic hasn't blown up yet. So I'm writing this review to help make that happen. I recently visited Dr. MILANES for a hair loss treatment, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The very first appointment I felt very rushed, they seemed more focused on getting to the next patient. We didn't have an official first consultation to start with, they took me straight to the treatment without knowing if I was a good candidate for the ALMA TED treatment or at least waiting for my blood and generic test results to decide. Until I requested it I had a Zoom meeting with him and we finally spoke about what ALMA TED will do with my hair. The doctor prescribed me Monoxide for a MAN and he didn't explain some of the side effects of using MONOXIDE, which I found out later on, at some point, I doubted his knowledge of hair. You will start losing hair first which in the end, all I saw was losing more hair and the ALMA TED treatment DID NOT improve my hair loss. I AM NOT HAPPY with this place at all I wouldn't recommend it, my cousin showed up to her appt, and the place was CLOSED. They are not organized or professional.!!! Last note, when I expressed my unconformity with this whole process, his assistant told me she was going to schedule a follow-up appointment with the Doctor and she NEVER DID Until now, they did not care If I improved or If they could offer some alternatives. Came here for underarm hair removal and after 5 sessions I saw no results. None of the hairs were gone and even when the hairs grow back, it's just as dark and thick. I have done other laser treatments and saw results, and will continue going back to those places, like Laser Away. I will not be returning. The service was great though. To be honest, I am really disappointed in this business. I feel the Opus Plasma is not good for fair skin at all and its SO overpriced for the results that aren't noticeable. I also feel they cared more about taking my money because I was never given a follow up appointment and I never even received a call to see how I am doing after the procedure. At the end of my procedure the nurse told me to get a prescription at CVS to lighten my skin.. If the Opus Plasma really works, why ask us to pay more for a prescription??? If you have fair skin, you are better off doing botox or a stronger laser. read more

My first experience with laser hair removal was on my underarms elsewhere. I remember doing 5 or 6 sessions, but I ended up having to go back for another renewal since the results were not satisfactory. This was about two years ago. I found Luminary MD on Groupon a few months ago This time I was going to do hair removal in probably the most feared section of our body. Anyhooo, not going to lie, it hurt... I just finished my 6 sessions, and even by the 3rd session, the results were really good. We went from doing 4 week waiting period and upped it to 6 weeks just to give the hair time to grow. My sessions took about 10 to 15 minutes, but could be different depending on each person's amount and thickness of hair. I'm happy with the overall results with the laser hair removal. I haven't tried other services like face and skin stuff, so I can't comment on that. read more

Little to no results after one laser session. It's been more than three weeks and less than 1/5 of the hair is gone. And no, it's not the next growth phase coming in. I've already had plenty of laser treatments on these areas by a different company. I went here for touch ups only. I'm used to having all of the hair slide out after a week or so when going to legit places like Laser Away (corporate chain) or med spas in Newport. This is the first time the hair didn't slide out on its own after several weeks. Also, I wasn't comfortable because a man performed the laser, so I only had underarms and chin done. I certainly wouldn't have him do laser on my bikini area. He's the only employee. The laser is very small and portable, and it didn't work good at all. I'm very fair skinned and my hair is dark, which is the best combo for laser to work. Also, his laser machine doesn't have cryogenic technology, which blasts cold air helping to minimize your pain. My friend paid $300 for a peel, it had no effect. Skin peeled but no change in skin blemishes. Very weak treatment and useless. My husband paid $300 for laser on sunspots/age spots on face. Again absolutely no difference. When I called the office they said that there will be no change after first treatment and we need to do multiple treatments. We disagree because he had Previously done laser before and saw effects the very next day. Maybe their machines was not effective laser. We also paid $3K to try out the O shot, P shot and vulva shots and no effect either. After 2 weeks of mild change, supposed nerve ending growth, nothing happened. Perhaps it was not done correctly? Or just us? Dr Milanese had said will stimulate new nerve growth and definitely work. But now when we called he said everyone is different. Feel very frustrated that office could not do anything even though we informed that none of the treatments worked even though we paid $3600 altogether.
