10/10 recommend Dr. H and his team!! I had the best experience from start to finish. This was my first time ever doing anything surgical, so I was definitely nervous going into it, but everyone made me feel so comfortable the entire time! Coco is the sweetest and gave me vitamins + detailed pre-op instructions two weeks before surgery to help with overall health and bruising. Jax helped prep me the day of and eased a lot of my nerves. And Dr. H was amazing!! Super reassuring, and made the whole process feel easy. The procedure itself was super quick, I didn't feel a thing, and I remember most of it (which I was nervous about but ended up being totally fine). 24 years ago I went to Dr Nichter for a mastectomy on 1 breast and reconstruction. He did implants on both breasts which is hard to make look even and natural and he did a wonderful job. One of my implants had ruptured (which is very common after 24 years). I came back to him to replace the implants and do a lift on the natural breast. He once again did an amazing job. They look beautiful! He is a highly skilled plastic surgeon who is also so knowledgeable and respected in his field and is triple board certified! He is also extremely compassionate and very honest. If you are on the fence at all about the doctor to choose for your breast augmentation surgery please consider DR KHANG NGUYEN!!! I was diagnosed with breast cancer last October and quickly made the decision to have a bilateral mastectomy. Other than cutting the cancer out, I didn't know what the next steps would be to reconstruct new breasts. I was upset with the diagnosis. I was confused as to what kind of reconstruction I should do. Spacers, implants, silicone, saline, fat transfer, flaps...so many important decisions to be made during a stressful situation. I was a crying mess! I was referred to Dr. Nguyen through Long Beach Memorial Hospital. I didn't know how lucky I was to be referred to Dr. Nguyen at the time, but I am incredibly grateful that he is my doctor. Dr. Nguyen (and his team) is incredibly kind and patient, as I quickly learned while I sat through our first 2 meetings crying about how upset I was with the diagnosis. The idea of surgery was terrifying to me. I couldn't even look at before and after pics he was trying to show me! He & his associate Coco, calmly explained my options. When the shock of it all subsided, I decided on reconstructive surgery using my own body fat to build the new breasts at the same time as the double mastectomy. It would be a very long day in the operating room, but I found it to be my best option. Turns out, my menopause belly would actually be super handy for the first time ever! Leading up to the surgery, Dr. Nguyen and his whole team handled everything. They communicated all details clearly and often. I felt confident I was in good hands. The surgery and post op seemed to go very smoothly. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. I was waiting for some seriously bad pain.... it wasn't pleasant, but it was never terribly bad. Mainly, just uncomfortable and annoying to have drains coming out each side of me. (Side note: He took those drains out without me even knowing he was doing it! EZ PZ) Once those drains came out, and the swelling started to come down, I could see the beginnings of the fit body I used to have in my younger days. Very exciting, to say the least. It's been a little more than 2 months since my surgery, although I still have a little swelling, I am already amazed at how great my breasts & stomach are looking! All of the things I have mentioned above should be considered a baseline standard for any doctor. What sets Dr. Nguyen apart from the rest is how he handled a complication that was unavoidable and no fault of anyone's. My ultra sensitive skin didn't love the new transition. Without getting into the gory details of the actual complication, Dr. Nguyen's response and post care for the last 8 weeks has been nothing short of spectacular. In between my weekly check-ins at his office, my husband texted Dr Nguyen pictures on a regular basis. There was a week during that time where they were texting on a daily basis. Dr Nguyen would immediately respond with compassion , and more importantly, always had a solution that would help my situation in one way or another. I could pretend, and say it's because I am his new favorite patient, but I see him answering calls from other patients on his cell phone every time I am in the office. He is equally as helpful to them as well. I'm sure they teach "bedside manner" in medical school- but his kind of bedside manner seems to be more in his upbringing and his generally pleasant demeanor. Saying Dr. Khang Nguyen is a talented surgeon would be an understatement. Dr. Nguyen gave me the strength and confidence to find the silver lining in a diagnosis that nobody wants to hear. I had liposuction, tummy tuck with a breast fat transfer in January of 2023. I just went back for my final checkup in December of 2023. I used Dr. Nichter and he is just a wonderful surgeon. He is very honest he doesn't sell you on things that are not needed, he is professional and he has a good bedside manner. I would 1000% recommend to anyone interested to at least go and get a quote. I would do this all over again if I had to. My surgery did include the use of drains and those were definitely challenging for me. I was able to call the doctor as needed and to go in on the same day if I felt an urgent need to be seen. I also felt like my scar was in a straight line and is healing very nicely. I just have a brand new body and I owe it all to Dr. Nichter. read more

I had an uplift and breast augmentation by Dr. Horowitz the first he seemed great. I was really happy with him, but if there's any problems with your surgery, Dr. Horvitz will run from the Problem literally run and hide. He had an office in Huntington Beach that was located across from old world village. I had problems with my left breast being encapsulated. This was early on. I told him that I had some pain they told me to come down, and I could talk to the doctor when I got there. He immediately sent out some woman who claimed to be the manager. They never had any intention of letting me speak with the doctor never letting me speak with any doctor. They made me sit there for over three hours. I kept thinking it was just because he was busy and I was willing to wait because I was really upset in the treatment that I was getting and being lied to finally after I was getting ready to leave the manager has been coming to her office and she says Dr. Horowitz is not going to see you today but he gave me this estimate to give to you. He wanted to charge me all over again the complete charge. Oh I'm sorry I take that back. I paid over $12,000 I believe and he was going to give me $2000 off oh how generous Dr. Hotz that was only because I threatened to say something in front of his patient in the waiting room this man should not be working. It's time for him to retire. He doesn't do a good job and he certainly doesn't listen to what you want just before surgery. I reminded him again. I wanted to go behind the muscle. He did not do the surgery that I requested. He also failed to tell me that Pacific plastic surgery center that was located down across the street from his office was an additional charge. I'm not really sure the amount, but it was in the few thousands. I was unaware of this until the day of surgery or the day before this man is the lowest of all. Now I have to have my breast redone. I know I have to anyways because it's time but I've had so much pain from this because the implant slipped out of the pocket and I saw two board certified plastic surgeons. They said they had to make a mesh pocket in order for it to work and put back in the silicone a new silicone implant new price $24,000. Do not go to this facility and especially do not go to Dr. Jed Horowitz. i'm sure he hasn't changed his staff or I'm sure he's trained his new staff to be just as sneaky and just uncaring about a patient that you could possibly be they do whatever they are told to do apparently for their paycheck in their yearly plastic surgery procedures. Then he decides to take vacation when I just have my surgery I had to go to his sidekick who is actually as dry as you can imagine as far as personalities, I think that's awful that he can't even finish out the surgery and then when I do wanna talk to him about something, my concerns, he hides like a little baby behind a chair in his office because he can't face the fact that he did a crappy job and he put him in front of the muscle like I asked him not to do do yourself a favor I don't care what he's offering how little he's offering to do these surgeries, but doesn't that tell you something $7500 all inclusive give me a break you pay for what you get that $7500 is surgery done by Jed Horowitz. I'm sure he can't possibly get any more than that nowadays because people are on them now. Good to see that you hired two new surgeons you guys should just stay out of the picture. Don't put your faces online. Let these young guys take over because you certainly don't know the first thing about plastic surgery or being kind your patience or facing the fact that if you make an error that you have to make up for it. You're nothing but a money, hungry piece of crap Plastic Surgeon that think that everyone is just another payday to him and that's all he thinks but after you're done, he's done with you too. I came here about a year ago to have a surgical procedure done with Dr. Horowitz. I was under the impression that he knew well of this procedure and would perform it successfully, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Immediately as the procedure was done, I let him know my concerns and told him that what I wanted didn't look right, to which he simply kept downplaying and saying to let the time do the work. At the time, he also reassured me that if anything went wrong, they would fix it, so I didn't worry much about it. I listened and let time pass, but the results seemed to be nonexistent. I kept expressing my concerns to him during my visits but he would say the same thing everytime, until my last visit where he simply told me that there was pretty much nothing he could do. I understand that in the contract I signed, I agreed to a statement that said that there was a chance the surgery could be unsuccessful, but what makes me angry is that Dr. Horowitz didn't listen to me since the beginning about my concerns with the initial results of my surgery and honestly didn't care to reach out to me. During my last visit, he said he would reach out to discuss some alternatives (that I would need to pay for again at full price by the way) that could be done, but of course he never did. It honestly seems like they took advantage of the fact that I'm a young college student, but all I know is that I wasted $4000 of my hard earned money for nothing. This is a hard one for me because of course I hate to express any ill feelings towards people with such an incredible profession in this industry. I am very grateful I got surgery as I absolutely see a difference, however, I would be lying if I said I truly loved my results even after all this time has passed. After my chin augmentation I did feel I still had a receding chin. I actually loved my chin right after surgery, then all the swelling went down over the weeks and I was so sad after the bandages were completely removed. It also enhanced a chin dimple that I wasn't expecting and disliked. As I am understanding that the dimple was unexpected, I went back to have that filled in with some additional fillers to enhance around my chin to help give me the desired look I was hoping for from the initial surgery. Unfortunately, that was another situation that I left unsatisfied. After the filler session, I was happy with the enhancement but I pointed out that my dimple is still there and was informed it "was just a shadow". As much as I was okay with that answer initially, that was definitely not the case as you could not only see it was indented but absolutely feel the dimple was there. I felt uncomfortable to disagree sitting in the chair so I just accepted it and left. I thought maybe I just had over the top expectations but others I've spoken with seem to agree with my expected results. I unfortunately came to the decision to not waste anymore money on touch ups and felt better to part ways. The staff was so nice and friendly I really appreciate how kind everyone was. They take excellent care of their clients. I do think I should say again, I am overall happy I got my surgery to begin with. I only wish there would have been a 3D model or something of that sort that would have helped me visualize the results a little better than going in blind and leaving me to spend more money on fillers. read more

I can't express How happy I am with my breast augmentation. I got it done in July 24, 2019, with Dr.Nichter. The whole team here is absolutely fantastic and Dr.N is absolutely phenomenal and so talented. I got Sientra silicon implants and went from an A to about a D cup (not entirely sure my bra size because I haven't gotten sized lol!). 39 Yr Old Mother of 2- California Lift I have thought about a breast lift for years, but I never imagined it would be something I would actually do. Amazing results!! When I was considering plastic surgery, I had been feeling like my eyelids made me look tired. I did research and had my consultation and looked at the results for the upper eyelid blepharoplasty (they called it an "eyelid lift"). The whole consult experience was very informative! I was a patient of Dr. Nichter for a liposuction procedure in 2005. I'm writIng this review because some people may question the long term benefits of these types of procedures. I can tell you that the benefits I've received from Dr. Nichter's work have been phenomenal and have lasted longer than I expected. I came in with a size 34 waist with significant fat and "love handles" around my trunk and lower back. The very rapid results resulted in a reduction to a 32 waist size within 6 weeks and no love handles. Today, 16 years later, my waist size is 31 and I feel as good about my results as I did in 2005. Dr. Nichter is the only doctor I would trust with cosmetic improvements to my body. He is assured but not overly confident about his results. He never tried to sell me or over promise an outcome. I am 3 weeks into my recovery from my breast lift and augmentation with Dr Nichter. Where do I begin? I lost over 100+ lbs a number of years ago, and I've managed to keep it off. Women reading this who have had weight fluctuations can understand, this took a toll on my breasts. All of my life I had been a D, becoming a DD while I was heavy, then a C when I lost the weight. But more than just the size change, my breasts couldn't hold themselves up anymore. For years I've longed to have them fixed. Only recently has the intersection of availability and resources coincided with finally finding the perfect doctor. From the start when I called to obtain information, Coco, Dr Nichter's assistant, was knowledgeable, understanding, empathetic, patient and kind. (I've told her that she is a huge part of the reason I came back to Dr Nichter after all my consultations.) Talking with Dr Nichter, you realize you are getting the benefit of his years of experience. But while some doctors who are 'experts in their field' tend to talk down, rush, or seem almost bored/jaded, Dr Nichter is the exact opposite. Having worked myself in the medical field and very closely with surgical subspecialists for over 10 years, I recognized that he still has passion for his work, for being challenged, and for both learning and teaching. And most importantly when he described the things he would/could do, it was like listening to an artist talk. Having gone through many consultations, I can say that is an important 'x' factor. Prior to meeting with him, I had never wanted nor considered getting implants. I just wanted my breasts lifted... Simple right? Ha! Not so much! You see, when you are dealing with massive weight loss you have issues of 'shrinkage', skin laxity, and major ptosis. This means that a simple lift won't end up with a result that is satisfactory to most unless you have the ability to do a fat transfer to fill out the top portion of the breast, and unfortunately I wasn't able to do that. Taking all this in at a glance, Dr Nichter gently guided me toward considering implants. Once he introduced me to the Ideal Implant, provided me with information, and gave me time to do my own research (which I thoroughly did), I saw my ideas about them were outdated and that if I was going to have any hope of attaining what I had always wanted, dare I say, longed for, that the Ideal implants were the best choice. Decision made, it was then just a matter of waiting and then going through the procedure. During this time, Coco was vital in answering my questions and keeping me from getting too nervous. He botched the left side of my face, I have to pay a lot of money every six months for fillers to make the left side of my face match the right side In 2006 I went to doctor horowitz to remove the bags under my eyes, the day of the surgery he looked disoriented, but I didn't make anything of it, He did my undereyes diffrent from each other, one was loser than the other, when I saw him post surgery, he even admitted that they were diffrent, but to fix it, he asked me to pay for the surgery room expenses, than he said I'll fix it when you get a face-lift, I was only 45 I DID NOT NEED a face-lift, A month passed and the right side heeled perfectly but the left one was still painful, in fact my whole left side of my face in the cheek and nose area hurt... I developed an infection which did not heel and ate through my left side of my facial fat, it took two years for the pain to get better, as a result the left of my face is flatter compared to the right side, and it sags in the jawl area, I've to pay for expensive fillers every six months to make it match the right side!! It's a sad story, very painful to write about, but I don't want anyone else to suffer like I did, in fact if you visit Dr. Jed horowitz on yelp, you will find all the bad reviews and the horror his patients have gone through! read more
