On the day of the procedure, Dr. Wei and her professional staff made me feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone that works there was so lovely! I was asked to wash my face so they could apply a numbing cream to skin. After sitting that way for about 30 minutes, my face was nice and numb (kind of the same feeling as getting a filling on a tooth). The laser treatment itself took about 10 minutes and was painless! Although the machine has a bit of a rubber band snapping sound, the sensation on the skin just felt like very pinpointed heat - nothing unbearable nor uncomfortable. The rest of that day my skin was a nice pinky tone and warm to the touch. The next day, my dark spots were visibly deeper or darker in color than before, but Dr. Wei assured me that was all part of the process. I did experience mild dryness around my chin on day 3 and 4 post-procedure. After that, my skin was back to normal, I was wearing makeup again in 5 days, and my dark spots just kept getting lighter and lighter! Miraculous!!! I'm Mexican-American and always in the sun and was worried that due to my outdoor lifestyle and skin tone that this treatment wouldn't really work on me, but it really has and am so looking forward to seeing my results after an additional treatment! I had laser under my eyes to target veins (so stupid, since what I was fixating on was a non-issue and he probably should have turned me away). I had IPL done before and thought it was no big deal to get this done. It caused a ton of swelling and then the cream he pushed on me to buy caused a severe allergic reaction. I had swelling on and off for MONTHS and some hyper-pigmentation. And had to go to the doctor to get steroids prescribed. He only refunded me for the cream, not the service. Also, the laser didn't get rid of any of the veins, not even the red capillary on my nose. So all of that stress and no results. Go to a dermatologist and do your research. It will save you a lot of time, money and distress. It was very uncool and messed with my self-image for a while.

I bought a Morpheus 8 session here as a birthday gift for a friend in June…read more She had concerns about how the treatment was performed and asked the office for her treatment record, specifically the settings that were used. She emailed twice and got no reply. I called the office twice and emailed twice as the person who paid. No response to any of it, over 14 days. I wasn't expecting a detailed response since it's her medical record but responding to one of us would have been nice. During her session she noticed the handpiece being lifted off her skin at the moment the device fired, three or four times that she counted. Those felt like a sharp shock at the surface rather than the deeper sensation she remembered from her previous treatments elsewhere. Her session was one pass. Her prior treatment elsewhere was two passes with the handpiece held in place through each pulse. Afterward her skin looked different from last time as well. Of course recovery varies and that redness isn't a measure of anything on its own, so nobody is claiming the treatment did or didn't work. It's too early to know. The support staff was honestly amazing up until the service itself. Then they just sort of disappeared (which is very odd when she requested details of her record). What I can speak to here is what happened after. A patient asking for her own treatment record is a routine request, and being met with silence is not what I expected from a practice with this rating. If the office reaches out to her and resolves this, I'll update the review to say so. UPDATE: Filing a complaint with the medical board as we had someone reach out to us and indicate they cannot legally ignore the patients request for treatment details or records (I'm not the patient but the patient did reach out)
