When I arrived I was greeted by Leslie she did see my appointment on the schedule. I showed her the email, she looked and saw my appointment request however; It was never actually booked by the manager. Leslie was so nice and very professional. She said she would talk to the doctor to see what can be done because she knew I was in pain. Dr. Dechavez of course accommodated me. I explained all my recent serious health issues that prevented me from seeking care sooner. He was so understanding and caring. Though he could not start the work yet as he had patients waiting. He made sure I was given an appointment to be seen during the week. Dr. Dechavez truly cares for his patients. He really is a superb doctor and most of all a decent human being with core values. I would not go anywhere else.

Environment is very comfortable Dr. Steinbach was the first doctor when I was visiting right after covid ended because I had a root canal during covid that needed a crown. He was very honest with me and told me I would need an implant. It was a very dramatic news for me but they were wonderful. I was referred out to the close by ortho dentist and the came back to get my crown. The entire experience was straight forward and easy. They never tried to upsell me anything. My only issue with this location is the Dental Cleaning. After finishing up the issues with my teeth, I had a dental cleaning and it was extremely painful. I thought it was just normal when I started visiting the Court Side location since it was more convenient for me, Dr. Karpova did my cleaning was literally pain free. I assumed it was cause maybe previously I had dirty teeth This month I did cleaning at this location again since it was convenient and since I been keeping up with all my cleanings it wouldnt be too bad. No, it was very rough and felt rushed. I did not feel comfortable at all. I might try court street again for cleaning, but if its still painful I think I will switching for cleaning. When making the appointment, Dr. Gales was very cordial. However, everything after that was a…read morenightmare. I went in for a routine check-up. After taking x-rays, Dr. Gales showed me that I needed two procedures to be done, a root canal and a wisdom tooth extraction. So, as it is my right, we started asking questions about the costs of the procedure and what will be covered. Dr. Gales very quickly gave us some detail about the pricing, but would not give us a definite amount of what the procedures would cost. He also expected me to do both procedures right there and then in the office. This was a problem, because my insurance coverage is very limited and I would have to pay at least $1,500 for the procedures. We decided not to do the procedures that day, as we needed a definite answer on the pricing and the coverage I was entitled to. So we called the insurance company the next day and found out that there was a lot of things that Dr. Gales neglected to tell us, such as the fact that we would be responsible for paying for the anesthesia cost of the procedure. So we called Dr. Gales back to ask him to send a pre-authorization, as the insurance company asked us to request, and he went absolutely ballistic. He told my wife that she "was the problem," because she kept asking him questions about the pricing, which he repeatedly neglected to answer - and then proceeded to tell my wife to find another doctor to complete the procedures. . He also went on tell her that I would have had the procedure done if it wasn't for her. He also badgered her about the fact that we "didn't want to pay," which definitely wasn't the case - we just wanted to know what we were getting ourselves into. Because of his behavior, we now have to pay more for the procedures, because we have to have a new dentist examine me, and he used about $250 of total amount we are allotted yearly by the insurance coverage. Our piece of advice is to definitely call your insurance company to understand your own benefits. Do not leave this up to the doctors! By speaking to the insurance company we found out that we were covered for more than he was stating, and that there is a set list of pricing that needs to be followed!

He forces a smile when I meet him, doesn't listen to my concerns and is always dismissive. He put black filling in some of the teeth at the front of my mouth, and when I objected, telling him that he should put white filling, he refused. One time he had a Russian woman perform a root canal on me. She was the most unprofessional person I've met. While performing the root canal, she was having a conversation with her assistant about guys she likes and dated. The tall Trinidadian lady - Ariel I think her name is - is very sweet and friendly.
